200 years ago, this windmill produced bread for the whole of Santorini. Today, it’s a dreamy retreat just for two. If you’re feeling adventurous, seek out a cliff jumping spot at Amoudi Bay and plunge into the Aegean’s clear, cool waters. But if you’d prefer to stick to dry land, find a spot on the rocks to watch the waves gently lap the shore.
When it’s time for supper, weave through streets sprayed with bougainvillaea to find a quaint seafood eatery. After a slap-up feast, hurry home just in time for sunset. Take your place in the private hot tub with a glass of fizz and watch the sky burn orange.
