This sweet little apartment is packed full of charm. It’s part of a peaceful cluster of apartments in the pretty village of Karavomylos, just a few steps from the sea. You can fall asleep at night to the soothing sound of the sea on the shore, just beyond the balcony.
After waking up with the sun on your pillow, take your coffee to the balcony to start your day slowly – you’re on island time now, after all. The sea views are the crowning glory of this pretty apartment, which is calm and quiet, ideal for a beach holiday for two. You might decide to stroll to a nearby taverna for breakfast before spending your morning by the communal pool. The beach is two minutes away on foot, so you can switch up your sunbathing locations in a flash.
A five-minute stroll through town is all it takes to reach Melissani Cave, one of the most beautiful sights on the island. This enchanting cave hides a turquoise lake within, with forests surrounding it. Plan your visit for midday when the sun streams through from above, giving a magical glow and adding to the romance.
Beautiful Assos is thirty-two minutes away by car, and well worth the trip. The town is known for its colourful houses, traditional architecture, and the ruins of a Venetian castle. It’s one of the most picturesque spots on Kefalonia, so make a day of it – there are countless attractive spots for a sunset meal and cocktail.
