Venice’s top sights are within walking (or gondola) distance, like the Rialto Bridge (fifteen minutes) and the Academia Gallery (twenty minutes).

Inside, shining marble floors and wooden ceilings are a nod to old-world Venice, and the plush sitting room is a soothing natural palette of cream, wood and stone. History is right on your doorstep, and you’ve got a view of the sleepy Campo and Rio de San Degolà church. Bedrooms are super spacious for this close to the centre of Venice. The kitchen has everything you need to knock up a decent meal, but you might prefer to explore the culinary scene of Venice, which starts on your very street.
