You're just a thirteen-minute walk from Las Canteras, Las Palmas' famous urban beach dotted with colourful wooden boats and lively waterfront eateries. It's an excellent spot for snorkelling, sunbathing and swimming in the Atlantic Ocean – we bet you'll spend every afternoon stretched out on the sand, watching the waves. If you fancy a bit of sightseeing, take a three-minute stroll over to Castillo de la Luz – a 16th-century fortress that now exhibits artwork – followed by a meal at one of the fantastic restaurants on your doorstep.

When you've had your fill of exploring, we think this light-filled flat is the perfect space to relax. Don't let the size fool you – it has everything you'll need and plenty of stylish features to boot. There's a modern kitchen with plenty of room to rustle up Spanish omelettes for breakfast and tapas for dinner, a lavish walk-in shower with a rainfall feature and a cosy turquoise sofa where you can kick off your shoes and unwind with a glass of Spanish vino. We also like the layout –wood panelling around the bed cleverly separates the living space from the bedroom, so although it's all-in-one, there are defined spaces to eat, chill out and sleep.
