Make the most of the sunshine by lounging poolside, leaving your book behind to slip into the crystal clear water of the private pool whenever sunbathing gets a little hot.

After a lazy morning, you might head out to explore the island. The beach is only a walk away, and if you're feeling particularly adventurous, you might even try your hand at the watersports on offer. There's also the potential for deep sea fishing and other island excursions that'll give you the full island experience, but be sure not to miss Puerto del Carmen. It still has the charm of an old fishing village, but with plenty of restaurants where you can get an authentic taste of Lanzarote.

Make your way back home in time for sunset drinks on the rooftop bar and spend the rest of the evening chatting under the stars with a glass of wine.
