Perched on the hillside in the village of Scopello, this villa is ideally located for those looking to explore the unspoilt corner of Sicily. The interiors are contemporary, if a little dated – but the panoramic Mediterranean Sea views make up for it. Small but perfectly formed, the private swimming pool makes for the ideal spot to soak up some sun. While the outdoor dining area is perfectly positioned to enjoy some local Sicilian wine and watch the sunset. There’s plenty of local restaurants to discover just a ten-minute drive away, while the livelier resort of Castellammare de Golfo isn’t too far.

*Located on a hillside – the road to reach this villa is steep, narrow and unpaved and children will need to be supervised at all times
*This is a single-level home however there are steps inside the home, and garden has lots of uneven terrain – it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility
*We think the kitchen is better suited to lighter bites than large meals
*Though there isn't a dedicated desk here, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace
