First off Peter (the owner) was fantastic to deal with. We have rented houses on several vacations and he was easy to deal with, sent us a great guide to get ready for the island, set up a water taxi, quickly answered all my questions and in made sure the whole process went smooth which is how you want to start a vacation. The house and gardens were amazing. The pictures really don't do it justice. All the glass walls opened up so the entire house is one big indoor/outdoor space. It is on the side of a large hill so we were glad to have a 4 wheel drive car. The view is amazing! We had a tough time leaving to go to the beach (a good dilemma to have) and the wrap around deck was great to sit on in the evenings to have a drink and watch the sunset. Everything we needed was here - we really felt like it was a home and not a rental. It was secluded and you dnot have neighbors right next door which has been an issue in previous places we have rented (I don't want to be right next door to some spring break party house). We loved everything about the island and can't wait to come back!

Coccoloba is the perfect locus whence to enjoy Nevesian paradise!
We returned for our 2nd thoroughly delightful 12-day visit to this glorious one-in-a-million luxury lodging.
EXTERIOR: We were enticed by the long (~12 meter shallow-to-deep) sparklingly clear fresh-water pool. Spectacular underwater lighting invites repetitive nighttime swims. Credit brilliant siting; its infinity-edge disappears into the Caribbean. An extensive tile deck surrounds the pool and home, for endless outdoor relaxing. We never wanted to leave this beautiful hilltop eyrie, with views to die for. Sunsets are enthralling: including one exceptionally clear evening when we observed the recondite "green flash" on the western horizon. Attractive terraced tropical gardens, occasionally visited by a fascinating troop of native vervet monkeys, complete the enchanting setting. A new fully featured propane-fired barbecue grille is available on the exterior deck. Importantly for us, the villa accords tranquil 360-degree total privacy.
INTERIOR: A spacious (unusual for a 2-bedroom residence) open floor-plan flows seamlessly from indoors to outdoors. We enjoyed many meals on the cool covered veranda, overlooking the channel separating St Kitts and Nevis. (Yet excellent restaurants are less than 15 min away; see TripAdvisor reviews.) Furnishings are top-drawer contemporary with lots of natural wood. The large tiled designer bathrooms are fitted with very large high-tech showers. Bedrooms and the great room feature room-wide 2-meter-tall sliding glass door panels, which open onto the pool deck. So you feel outside even whilst inside enjoying pleasing zephyrs wafting through.
All appliances are new top-of-the-line; kitchen is over-kitted with cookware, tableware, and every utensil or gadget that you could need. A/C is limited to the bedrooms, but we used infrequently preferring the breezes and sounds of the lush environment. Overhead fans abound.
Maid and pool service is mid- and end-of-week. The villa is spotlessly clean throughout.
GENERAL: Owners Peter & Louise are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They efficiently organised local transport—land and water taxis to/from SKB airport and the perfect on-island hired self-drive vehicle. So nicely, these details became effortless. Since the owners live/work but a few km away, they're promptly available if needed. Once, due to a temporary local power-cut, the domestic water heater tripped. Peter quickly restored. WiFi/Internet is good for Nevis. 70+ cable TV channels plus a DVD library. Two small cute and affectionate cats reside. The much-improved 1/2-km private road steeply climbing to the villa is daunting, but managed with our 4WD “Grand Viatra.”
We want to come back again and again.

We have been vacationing in the Caribbean since 1981 and have rented dozens of villas during our stays. This is among our very favorite! It exceeded our expectations in every way; Peter and Louise have thought of every detail necessary to make this house beautiful, well-equipped, comfortable and hard to leave! The indoor space is open and airy- a chef's heaven, beautiful bathrooms and air-conditioned bedrooms. But, the patio, outdoor seating and dining areas and the infinity pool are so inviting we hardly needed to go inside. The views of sunset, the evening skies and St. Kitts are fabulous and the house sits in a very private location with beautiful landscaping. Peter helped arrange many of our transportation needs, including a private water taxi from St. Kitts and a rental car. He and Louise also provided food and beverage at the house for us to enjoy upon our arrival and have created a great booklet of information about Nevis, with suggestions about restaurants and activities to enjoy on the island. This house is a great value and a wonderful treasure! We rented a car for the week and enjoyed exploring the island. We found the quiet beaches, ate like royalty and found some fun spots for music at night. We spent hours reading and just enjoying the beautiful views. It didn't occur to either of us that we had not turned on the television the entire week, until we left! For upscale dining, two of our favorite restaurants were The Rock at Golden Rock and Bananas. Both of these restaurants are magical, especially at night. For more casual dining we also enjoyed Sunrise (by the airport) and Double Deuce (great burger). We plan to return to this luxurious home in this little corner of paradise!

We loved our stay at Coccoloba. The views were fantastic. We enjoyed watching the sunset from our patio. The house was clean and comfortable. I appreciated having a washer/dryer. The owners were responsive to all of our questions and even stocked the fridge with some essentials for our arrival. There was a dock across the street and at the bottom of the drive, which we used for fishing and scuba diving. We also enjoyed having a beer and fries at the beach bar that is adjacent to the dock.

Our stay on Nevis was made special because of Coccoloba and Peter and Louise. We had booked another location on St. Kitts and discovered that it was not the paradise we were hoping for. After a few emails and great communication with Peter and lLouise(
let's not forget their friend Miles). We arranged a move to Coccoloba. From our first moment entering this villa till we left, everything was wonderful. The house and the views are more beautiful then the photos can do justice. An amazing sunset every evening, each different and more spectacular added to our stay. The location was great though the road up ,as on any island ,is quite an adventure. Driving on the left side for us is a challenge. The information provided by our hosts aided us in knowing the island quickly. So as you can tell, we loved Coccoloba, we loved Nevis and we are so grateful to Peter and Louise for offering their wonderful villa to make our stay here memorable. we would hope that this could be our hoe away from home on any return visit to the island. Thank you

My wife and I stayed at Coccoloba on Nevis for one week in late May 2013. We are veteran travelers of many great spots around the globe. While we ordinarily book hotels, after seeing Coccoloba and the amazing reviews, we decided to try a house for this vacation, and it was a great choice. The house and views are simply stunning. The pictures shown are very accurate. The property is first class and the views are "top-of-the-world" class - it is really hard to imagine a more beautiful setting. The infinity pool is amazing (salt water too!). I must have 100 pictures of that view, because you cannot ever get enough of it - and it is ever-changing as the sun and clouds create a constantly evolving image. The house is fully equipped. Don't do this trip without a rental car. Buying groceries is easy, and fixing simple meals from the well-equipped kitchen with a cocktail in hand and that view in your face all the time is quite a wonderful experience. Like other reviewers have said, we assumed that we would do a fair amount of adventuring on Nevis, but once we got to the house, it was so pleasant to be there that we really didn't care to do much more than stay there. We have been to the Caribbean in winter and summer, and while the weather in winter always pleases, for us the summers can be a bit stiffling. In late May in Nevis, we had no problem at Coccoloba with the weather. As Peter and Louise had advised, there were constant cooling breezes and we felt comfortable all the time without any AC other than in the bedrooms. The bedrooms have good AC that chills them off nicely for a good night's sleep. All in all a very positive week and experience in Nevis, and a warm feeling from the Nevisians we met - which is not something you get on every island. A couple of cautions: the house is completely stunning. The furniture and television and other electronic amenities are starting to show some age. They are fully adequate, but perhaps not in keeping with the luxury of the overall property and view. Peter and Louise were terrific and accommodating - our only real complaint is that we were reminded and re-reminded every time we saw them that check out time was very promptly expected at 10 am on the date of our departure and that we were expected to vacate the property promptly at or before 10 am. Since our flight did not leave until 3 pm and the incoming flight did not arrive until 2 pm, this policy is designed for the convenience of the owners rather than for the caring of the quests. When asked for suggestions of what to do during the long wait, we were advised to just find a restaurant or whatever. It happened to be raining when we left, and it was only 10 am so that was not entirely satisfying. Paying these sorts of rates (while totally reasonable for this property) we would have expected a more accommodating approach. It left a bit of a bad taste in our mouths after a week of relaxation and enjoyment to be so fixated on turning us out at 10am. The house, while stunning, is not large and the incoming guests could not possibly have arrived before 3 pm, and 5 hours was definitely not needed between guests. Alternatively, we could have sat on the deck without being in the way or some sort of accommodation made. That said, we enjoyed the stay a great deal. Only the ending was our only real disappointment.

We have been renting villas in Nevis for several years and also stayed at many other Caribbean islands. Coccoloba is by far the best and most luxurious we have stayed in. This was our second stay there and we cannot wait to go back for out winter trip. This time we brought our friends Chuck and Sue. The villa is very spacious and both bedroom suites are beautifully furnished with large doors opening sraight onto the deck and pool.
Peter and Louise (the owners) went beyond the call of duty organizing everything for us before our arrival, meeting us at the airport and thoughtfully leaving the fridge stocked with food and drinks. There was even a fresh loaf of bread waiting for us. The car rental didn't show up as planned on our arrival so Peter lent us his car for the first evening! The road up to the villa is quite rough in some places and we were pleased we had a jeep. However, once there, the views are just breathtaking. The villa is set in amongst trees and forest with no immediate neighbours so it really is very private. We did have unannounced visitors on two mornings when about 15 monkeys came down through the garden!
Although the photos on the website are beautiful they don't do it justice. The pool has a real infinity edge, the water seems to just fall into the sea below. During our earlier visits to Nevis we used to have sunset drinks at Sunshines bar on the beach by Four Seasons. This time we always made sure we were back on our deck. Watching the sunset from there was just amazing.
As I mentioned before we do villa rentals 3 or 4 times a year. Compared to the others we have rented this has to be both our favourite and the best value for money we have found. I would not hesitate recommending it to anyone.

Without a doubt Nevis is by far the best Caribbean island to holiday on. (We have visited most other islands) and Coccoloba is the best villa we have stayed in! We had the most wonderful holiday there. As the taxi took us up Ridge Road towards the Jones Estate we knew that the views and the location were going to be quite something. We were not disappointed. The villa sits in a perfect position with stunning views across to St Kitts. The villa itself is incredibly well maintained with high quality furnishings throughout. We found it very hard to leave the comfort of the villa and the magnificent swimming pool but on the advice of the owners we ventured out and found some fantastic beaches and delightful restaurants. The locals we found to be friendly and hospitable. We can't wait to go back.

We had a fantastic time at CoccaLoba - as lovely as the photos are, they don't do the views and the house justice! They were simply stunning - the infinity pool is super, lounging outside was peaceful, relaxing - lovely both day and night with amazing sunsets. Our 'away from it all' vacation here was perfect - no high rises, no hotels pounding music, simply peace and quiet with the most lively action of the holiday provided by the monkeys - so much fun!! The owners were available to answer questions and guide us on where to visit to eat and hang out - Golden Rock Inn's breakfast was lovely and in another beautiful setting. They helped us get a rental car, delivered fresh baked bread on arrival and generally made us feel so welcome without any intrusion on our privacy. We will be back as soon as schedule permits, cannot wait!

This was our first time in Nevis and it will not be our last. This is in large part due to the amazing accommodations offered at COCCOLOBA. The house is magnificent and the owners are a joy to work with. We loved everything about it, even the cats and my husband and son are both allergic! The pool is amazing, the outdoor speakers provide a nice background beat for a family dance party and the open air kitchen living space was just the right size for our family of three. The outdoor deck space also affords opportunities to find a quiet spot. The beds are comfortable and the rooms spacious. I must admit that I was a tad terrified to see one of those huge spiders of Nevis and thankfully we did not. The owners make the whole transport from St. Kitts very easy too. This is truly paradise found. The website and pictures are beautiful but in person you get to smell the sea air mixing with the jungle mountains behind you...lovely. Oh, and yes we saw some monkeys while we were there too!
The house sits high a top a very big hill...this provides great exercise so you do not feel badly eating your way through the great restaurants around Nevis.
Just one tip, close the bathroom windows at night or you will wake up with some funky bugs in the sink drinking the water drips!
We do hope to be back.

We had a fantastic week on Nevis and Coccoloba must be one of the best houses to stay in on the island. Louise and Peter really go the extra mile to make the holiday fantastic! The transfers to and from the island from St Kitts are very special - arriving in the water taxi really shows the island off and also the stunning position of Coccoloba! Local restaurants are very good and breakfast at Golden Rock is not to be missed!

We had the most wonderful stay at Coccoloba. Louise and Peter kindly helped with the taxi/boat transfers and the car rental which was wonderful. The basic amenities in the fridge were a real nice touch too. The house is astounding. We have rented many houses before and nothing compared to this one, particularly its outdoor terrace with the most amazing views you can ever dream off. We highly recommend Coccoloba: Paradise!

Coccoloba is an exceptionally well planned and private vacation home. Every detail is addressed with quality materials and taste. The home and it's well planned grounds become seamlessly connected to the veranda and the infinity pool. You will never tire of the panoramic view of The Caribbean Sea, St. Kitts and the Atlantic Ocean. The sunsets were magnificent. You really did not want to leave the property.
Peter and Louise, the owners were fantastic to work with when planning our stay.
Their personal greeting when we arrived made us feel that their home was ours and very helpful with sites to see and restaurants.

Wow -- what a wonderful vacation spot. Coccoloba is everything shown in the photos and more. You CAN believe your eyes. It is very private - romantic meals watching the sun set over neighboring St. Kitts, swimming with your sweetheart in the infinity pool, dancing under the stars. If you can dream it, you can make it happen at Coccoloba. The kitchen is well appointed with every gadget known to humankind. You can create the Master Chef meal or just a couple of sandwiches. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms (we turned it on 30 minutes before bedtime and were comfortable all night). The owners of the villa arranged our travel from St. Kitts airport to the dock immediately below the house. Everything ran with Swiss precision door to door. The owners, Louise and Peter, will give you overviews of the restaurants and can recommend hiking routes and best snorkeling locations. They have lived on the island for many years and answered all our questions. It was a very, very relaxing - no worries - vacation. This is exactly what we wanted and we highly recommend this property to anyone looking to vacation on Nevis.

If you are looking for relaxation, natural beauty, privacy, a romantic location, and a safe island with good food, then look no further. My wife and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary and could not have asked for a better place to do it. After researching things to do or places to go on Nevis and Kitts, we found ourselves wanting to relax poolside with the incredible view and seclusion at Coccoloba. And though it is a bit of a challenge to find the right groceries for a nice meal at the two grocery stores, it is worth the effort to stay in and have dinner at the house. No sunset view is better. A few restaurants and places were closed because it is the off season in October, but Coccoloba is basically a destination in and of itself. We are normally vacation goers that seek things to do everyday, but island life and the house made us slow down and relax. Beaches were quiet, Peter and Louise couldn't be nicer, the house is very well maintained, and did I mention it is a fantastic place to RELAX!!!

Architecturally beautiful villa with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and St. Kitts, Coccoloba is a sensual delight! The villa is situated on the side of a small mountain. The lush landscape adds to the tropical flavor as you enter the home and experience for the first time the spectacular view before you. And while the views capture your attention, you begin to realize the house flows with an appreciation of tropical beauty. The infinity pool adds a magical touch, as you dream of endless possibilities. The pool side lounging and dining areas were perfect to capture not only the beautiful sunsets, but also incredible rainbows following a brief morning shower. Nevis is a beautiful island and you could not stay in a nicer place. Your hosts Peter and Louise are simply marvelous! They will provide you with excellent recommendations and resources to make your stay as perfect as you expect. Can't wait to return for another tranquil vacation!

My husband and I just got back from a week at Coccoloba, and WOW, I can't say enough good things about it. I only hesitate because once people realize what a gem this is, I fear it will be booked for years in advance! This house is absolutely perfect. The views are incredible-- from all rooms in the house. The landscaping and gardening around the outside of the property show the love and care the owners put into the house, and the same attention to detail is evident inside as well. The house was warm and inviting-- a true home, not a sterile rental property!
Peter and Louise were amazing to work with. They greeted us upon arrival, stocked the fridge with breakfast basics (plus a few beers and a bottle of wine), and left a detailed book of restaurants, maps, and island information. The kitchen is well stocked, the towels are plush, the beds are comfortable, and the outdoor living space is perfect for island living! The pool is spectacular, and the sunsets at night were just gorgeous.
We chose the house based on the pictures and reviews from other travelers-- and we had no idea how lucky we were with its location! It sits just above Oualie Beach, and just 5-10 minutes from all the beautiful west side beaches and amazing restaurants. We were so close to everything, and yet because the house is situated at the end of the road (up on the hill), there is a sense of seclusion and total privacy. It is the perfect combination of "escaping" yet having easy access when you want it. The island community is close-knit and everyone is SUPER friendly.
My husband and I enjoyed our week there, and we could have easily come with another couple or our children. The two bedrooms are spacious, and the living areas are open and airy. The layout is great whether you are solo or with a group of people-- the kitchen/family room flow right into the outdoor space. They had lounge chairs, wicker chairs and sofas, and a huge dining area outside, as well as a large island bar in the kitchen and comfortable sofas inside with a huge tv (which we never even turned on). My husband was grateful for the AC in the bedroom, although the breezes were beautiful. We loved the nespresso machine and milk frother in the kitchen!
We have rented houses all over the Caribbean, and this by far has been our favorite. A definite piece of paradise!

We just returned from a week at Coccoloba, and can't begin to describe how much we loved it. The views are absolutely stunning, in every direction and every part of the house -- the pictures don't do them justice. And the house was so comfortable and beautifully designed, landscaped and maintained. We loved exploring, hiking and eating in Nevis, but our favorite by far was just hanging out at the villa - watching the monkeys over morning coffee, floating in the pool and just loving every aspect of the villa, inside and out. Peter and Louise have thought of every detail and made sure that we had a wonderful visit. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I recently returned from our two week extraordinary stay at Coccoloba. For those of you who can, we definitely recommend staying two rather than one week since you will find it a much more leisurely way to experience Nevis and enjoy this amazing villa...besides you won't want to leave, so the longer you stay the better. Peter and Louise are great to work with in arranging the booking, plus they made everything easy to get to and from the airport to Coccoloba, and they stocked food and drink for our arrival including a dinner for my wife's 62nd birthday which was on the day we arrived. The house and its setting is almost indescribably beautiful. The gardens are lush and tropical, the house is open air and the large patio and infinity pool looking west to the sunsets just can't be beat. Oh yeah and it comes with your own family of monkeys and a cat named "Trouble". We have traveled to most of the islands in the Caribbean, and we always stay in a private villa. They are all wonderful places, and Coccoloba is right among the best places we have ever stayed. The bonus you get when staying at Coccoloba is that you will experience a very interesting and relaxed island paradise. Nevis has a fascinating history, now reflected in the converted sugar plantation guest houses and restaurants, all of which are great dining choices. Personally, while we enjoyed all of those, we found ourselves more often then not at the island beach bars consuming way too many rum punches (Sunshines with the Killer Bee rum concoction will definitely live on in our memory). So we did venture beyond the villa, but never for too long, because the best place to be, particularly at sunset time, was Coccoloba!

Our family of three - myself, my husband and our teenage daughter traveled to the island of Nevis for my husband's birthday. Peter & Louise were absolutely wonderful to work with from the first correspondence. It's terrific how they set up transportation for you - it makes everything so seamless and carefree. We walked out of the airport and there were lines of people waiting to get into vehicles and there was our guy, standing with his sign, and boom, we were off! From the time we arrived at the airport, we were in the GLORIOUS Coccoloba within an hour. You walk down the stairs of the property, and through the front door and you cannot believe your eyes!!! The pictures you've been viewing online for the months leading up are all of a sudden your reality and even better!!!! The home is absolutely gorgeous, every finish high-end, and the home flows flawlessly from room to room. Let me tell you about the outdoor space – WOW!!! The outdoor space is possibly the best we've experienced and to put it lightly, we are ISLAND FANATICS. We have many to many islands, and rented many beautiful villas, and I can say this is the FIRST time we spent a day at a home, an entire day, with no beach excursion and to tell it truthfully, we spent TWO full days at the house, swimming, sipping on cocktails, hanging out, looking at that VIEW!!! I almost felt guilty, but it was so lovely, the guilt quickly disappeared. Thank you, Louise & Peter, for the ability to rent this spectacular property where you can float your days away in a beautiful infinity pool, looking out onto St. Kitts and Nevis where the Caribbean and Atlantic ocean waters lap at the beautiful golden, and sometimes black sand beaches ... Coccoloba proved to be an idyllic backdrop for our family trip.

We stayed at Coccoloba with another couple to celebrate 25th wedding anniversaries and some milestone birthdays. Let me just start off by saying I needed at least 10 days in this home as I did not want to leave on our final days. The home is perfectly set up for two couples. Two very large bedrooms with a nice master bath and hall bath. The kitchen is well equipped although we ate out for lunch and dinner as there are some fantastic restaurants on the island. We spent all of our time outside, enjoying the view day and night! The pool is so refreshing after a hot day on the beach and the infinity edge is striking against the backdrop of the sea and St. Kitts in the background. We were so happy with our decision on renting Coccoloba and would highly recommend to anyone considering visiting Nevis. Peter and Louise set up our arrival transfers and were available for questions and recommendations for the best places to eat! The trip was one I will always remember and we fell in love with this little Island called Nevis! Thank you Louise and Peter for sharing our stunning home with us!

Spent a week at this lovely property. I've no doubt it has one of the best views in the Caribbean with St Kitts across the water and sunsets directly across.
Very luxurious, yet homely..especially with a resident cat! Which is very pleasant and low maintenance.
The fantastic infinity pool kept our 12 year old entertained throughout and the excellent Oualie beach is right on your doorstep - one of the nicest beaches on the island, along with Lovers beach just a short walk further along.
All in all loved our stay and Peter & Louise are very respectful of your privacy, yet are always at hand should you need anything.
Hope to stay again the near future. Lovely.

This is the second time we have spent a week at Coccoloba - we loved even more than the first. The view is the best on Nevis - the infinity pool and the sea merge into one seamless panorama of blue. The bedrooms are large, the beds big and comfortable; the bathrooms have great showers and the kitchen well-equipped, with large American fridge and all the gadgets you could possibly want. As far as location goes, it is handy for all the best beaches, restaurants and bars, yet serenely above it all - no noise. A truly wonderful experience that never disappoints.

Coccoloba is the perfect locus whence to enjoy Nevesian paradise!
We returned for our 3rd thoroughly delightful week-long visit to this glorious one-in-a-million luxury lodging.
EXTERIOR: We were enticed by the long (~12 meter shallow-to-deep) sparklingly clear fresh-water pool. Spectacular underwater lighting invites repetitive nighttime swims. Credit brilliant siting; its infinity-edge disappears into the Caribbean. Extensive tile decking surrounds the pool and villa for endless outdoor relaxing. We never wanted to leave this beautiful hilltop eyrie, with views to die for. Sunsets are enthralling on the western horizon. Attractive terraced tropical gardens, occasionally visited by fascinating native vervet monkeys, complete the enchanting setting. A fully featured propane-fired barbecue grille is available on the exterior deck. Importantly for us, the villa accords tranquil 360-degree total privacy.
INTERIOR: A unusually spacious open floor-plan flows seamlessly from indoors to outdoors. We enjoyed many meals on the cool covered veranda, that overlooks the channel separating St Kitts and Nevis. (Note: excellent restaurants are less than 15 min away; see TripAdvisor reviews.) Furnishings are top-drawer contemporary with lots of natural wood. The large tiled designer bathrooms are fitted with very large high-tech showers. Bedrooms and the great room feature room-wide 2-meter-tall glass door-panels, which fully open onto the pool deck. So you feel outside even whilst inside enjoying pleasing zephyrs wafting through.
All appliances are new top-of-the-line; kitchen is over-kitted with cookware, tableware, cappuccino-maker and every other utensil or gadget that you could desire. A/C is limited to the bedrooms, but we used infrequently preferring the breezes and sounds of the lush environment. Overhead fans abound.
Maid and pool service is mid-week. The villa is spotlessly clean throughout.
GENERAL: Owners Peter & Louise are so friendly, helpful and fully knowledgeable. They efficiently organised local transport—land and water taxis to/from SKB airport and a perfect on-island hired self-drive vehicle. Thanks to the owners, these logistics were effortless. Since they live/work but a few km away, they're promptly available if needed. WiFi/Internet is good for Nevis. Ask Peter to explain their entertainment systems. 70+ cable TV channels with additional stored media and DVD libraries. Two small cute and affectionate cats reside. The 1/2-km private road steeply climbing to the villa is daunting, but managed with our 4WD.
The website pictures are accurate, but cannot convey the magnificent ambiance nor luxurious privacy—over-the-top. We want to come back again and again.

Freshly back from our stay at Coccoloba, and that amazing view is seared into our brains forever. The way the infinity pool blends into the Caribbean Sea is breathtaking. We could not stop staring at the amazing view and especially loved the sunset reflection in the pool. This place is perfectly appointed, perfectly laid out, perfectly designed, and even perfectly provisioned (basic groceries to start!). Several days, we opted not to leave at all. The open-window wall is an amazing feature. Opening the house every morning and having coffee in the midst of the 180 degree water view was truly special. Not to mention the espresso machine and milk frother! We found nowhere else on the island we liked better. Peter and Louise were very easy to work with and so friendly and helpful! They made the transfers from the airport to water taxi to car rental simple and seamless. I cannot say enough about the entire experience. Nevis is remote and it was a bit of an adventure as we drove around the island seeking out many delightful restaurants. We truly felt a world away, but that world away was indeed, luxurious. Wi-fi, a local cell phone, satellite TV etc . . . we were as connected as we wanted to be. We were 2 adults with a teenaged son and between us we read 10 books, took 5 naps, cared for the 2 cats, watched at least 4 monkeys in the surrounding trees every day, and deepened our tans significantly. If you are considering it, book Coccoloba now. You will not be sorry.

Had the most amazing time at this lovely villa! At the top of the steep, rocky road is the most gorgeous house ever, surrounded by beautiful tropical plants. The views... breath taking is an understatement. You can see across to St. Kitts and in the distance St. Barths. Lying by the pool - the blues of the pool, the ocean and the sky, the peace and quiet is incredible, so calming. The deck is huge and super comfortable for lounging, with sofas and a chaise but if you'd rather be inside there is a wall of glass doors that open up so that you can still enjoy the amazing views. Peter and Louise are the perfect hosts - able to answer any questions and full of recommendations as to where to eat out, etc. We did venture out for a couple of meals but really, who wants to leave this place?! Cannot recommend it highly enough - you will want for nothing at this special place!

The rainbows, the sunsets, the hummingbirds, the monkeys, the smell of the gardens. This place is heaven on earth! Peter & Louise were absolutely wonderful! If you are looking for peace & quiet, complete and total privacy and a place to decompress this is it! The pictures don't do it justice. We left the house once a day to get out but could absolutely stay put if you really wanted to. Restaurants are not very far away either. Perfect location! Will definitely return!

Peter and Louise own the most gorgeous villa in an absolutely idyllic setting at the top of a winding lane opposite Oualie Beach. The landscaping surrounding the driveway to the villa sets the scene, a dictionary definition of everything an island home should look like. Once through the door, the magnificent view takes your breath away, nothing is in your line of sight except the odd yacht bobbing away on the (usually) tranquil ocean.
There is everything you need at the villa, a generator which I personally think is the most important thing when staying on Nevis, (the power is patchy at times), and every conceivable kitchen convenience for the designated chef, including a bbq for those who, like us, prefer to catch their dinner.
The villa was beautifully presented and the housekeeper took immense pride in her job and kept the house immaculate. There were loads of clean towels for both the bathrooms and the beach and fabulous pool floats, all of which were in pristine condition.
We did eventually venture out, Bananas restaurant is a must, as is Sunshines beach bar, beware the killer bee rum punch, it'll sting if you have 2 or more of them. Chrishi beach is our favourite beach to visit as it as a super beach club with four poster sun loungers and a never ending supply of rose wine. It is a 5 minute drive from the villa.
We all cried when we left, it was the perfect place for the perfect getaway.

Secluded, exclusive, totally private luxury villa overlooking the prettiest bay.
We absolutely loved the 3 weeks we stayed at the Villa! Peter & Louise met us on arrival and are delightful. Louise coordinated our coming and going from Nevis including our rental car. The villa, the view and the pool were like a hidden paradise. The owners have taken great lengths to make the grounds breathtaking as well. The bedrooms were super comfortable. The bathrooms are well done and the master has an outside shower that feels like you are showering in an island paradise. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything we needed was there! The best is the pool area with the infinity pool, comfortable chaises, couches and dining table.....THE SUNSET IS AMAZING!
Date of arrival - March 2, 2019

This beautiful property is the finest there is! From ease of booking directly with Peter, to Louise assisting with our arrival & car rental. Once we stepped foot into the Villa it was obvious that pictures failed to capture the extraordinary beauty of this property. The infinity pool, wrap around deck with amazing open air living, boundless views of the ocean & St. Kitts. Everything you need and more is provided in this wonderful home. Great hospitality offered by Peter & Louise, arranging dinners, setting up transportation and alway available to offer suggestion. Beautiful mornings with fresh coffee to amazing sunsets, this is the best there is. You can spend your days in the pool, or visit one of the many beautiful beaches only minutes rom the property.
