The appartment has lots of space, is very comfortable and located in a calm neighborhood not too far from the center. Supermarket, restaurant and bars are just a few steps away. It's perfect to chill out before you enjoy nightlife in Belgrade - and ideal to cure the hangover afterwards...

A lovely apartment, great trip and Ana, our host, was really helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend a visit to this apartment and to Belgrade for a good weekend.

From the first enquiry to the moment we left this fantastic apartment, Ana was professional, warm and helpful. She answered all of my emailed questions promptly and clearly and proved to be as lovely in real life as her on-line persona suggested. Ana also arranged an airport transfer (20 euros for up to 4 people) and this worked very well. As for the apartment, the only potential criticism would be that there is no lift (elevator), so people with mobility issues would very probably find it unsuitable. The apartment is in an attractive building and the most striking characteristic is its spaciousness. The lower of the two floors contains a good-sized living / dining room with a slightly recessed kitchen plus a bedroom with en-suite facilities. It's a perfectly fine area but the place comes into its own on the upper level where the natural light floods in and there is so much space. I was with three friends and we spent time listening to music and chatting upstairs, while lounging on the plentiful and comfortable furniture. The upstairs bedroom spaces were all excellent and there is a second bath / shower / toilet room, plus a washing machine, iron, ironing board etc. on the upper level. Vracar is a little way out of the centre of town but - if the weather is fine - the centre is perfectly accessible on foot. That said, despite warnings about taxi rip-off merchants on TripAdvisor, we had no problems, so you should be able to get into the centre by taxi for a few pounds. Every taxi driver we travelled with was happy to provide an estimate of the cost and to use the meter. In every case, the estimate was very accurate and - based on our UK / Ireland norms - extremely reasonable. Belgrade isn't a beautiful city, but we were struck by the warmth and vitality of the people, personified by the very charming Ana. All four members of our group would wholeheartedly recommend this apartment. We looked in advance at various options and we could, undoubtedly, have found a cheaper apartment but we have absolutely no regrets about spending a little more, given the quality of the accommodation, the efficient service and the warmth of the welcome. Thanks again, Ana, from Chris, Mark, Pete and John.

We stayed at Penthouse Vracar for the last weekend and it was perfect. The hosts are really nice. They organized an airport pickup for us and gave us information about the city. The apartment itself is very cosy and I would definitely recommenced it for anyone going to Belgrade.

4 of us stayed in September. The apartment is very large, spread over 2 levels. The area is near the centre with lots of trams and buses nearby. The pink taxis are good value, while others can be quite expensive. The management responded quickly to any emails and everything was arranged perfectly. Thank you!

This split-level apartment is so luxurious that you'd be hard-pressed to find its rival -- even in a city like New York or Los Angeles. I stayed for a long weekend with 7 college friends reuniting for a wedding, and found it to be the perfect place for a large group. It could have comfortably slept a few more! The bedrooms are large, impeccably clean, and offer plenty of privacy. And there are several sitting areas with beautiful views of the city, great for hanging out and chatting until the wee hours. It's located in a beautiful part of town, ideal for people who'd like to take advantage of being within easy walking-distance to Belgrade's vibrant nightlife. The internet connection is completely reliable and fast, for those who have trouble leaving work behind. There's a full kitchen (and a bakery just a block away!)-- a huge advantage over any hotel. And two bathrooms large enough to accommodate 4 girls primping at the same time. If I could always stay at Penthouse Vracar, I'd travel way more often!

Stayed at the Penthouse Vracar for 2 nights with a group of friends. Planning worked excellent. Had e-mail contact with Isidora before the stay and she arranged for us to be picked up in the airport. The apartment is very nice, covering two levels with plenty of space. Well equiped kitchen and two nice size bathrooms. 10 minutes with frequent tram to the city center. Highly recommend this property!

We spent four nights here at the end of April for a short holiday with friends and can heartily recommend this apartment. More than enough space (we were with eight), plenty of additional tourist information available and excellent service in general. The shuttle service is also highly recommended. Two small comments: the dishwasher didn't work properly and the guardrail on the stairs was quite wobbly, but apart from that this is as good as you can hope for. We walked to most major attractions (about 3 km to city centre), but it is also very easily accessible by public transportation.

Restaurants, bus, tramway,glacier..... Parfaitement décoré ,on se sent chez soi . On oubli vite le 4ème étage sans ascenseur !

Modern, clean and very well furnished and presented apartment. Nice rooms, good facilities, very spacious, views across the city in most directions, very convenient food shop and mini-bar arrangement in the fridge. Why not a 5? (1) You have to be fit to climb all of the stairs (there is no lift). (2) It is not walkable to the city - although there are nearby trams (buy tickets from a pavement kiosk) (3) kitchen is not so well equipped - crucially there was no cork screw ! (4) air-conditioning struggles to deal with the heat, and we were uncomfortably warm (accepting the temperature was unusual). (5) shortage of drawers in the bedrooms for clothing. (6) Parking is tricky - a map of where and how would be helpful. I parked in the one under the park 10 minutes away. Recommended for sure - and read the "Serbian Mentality" book in the bookcase !

The stay was truly memorable, the space was very friendly and stylish, the view from every room was breathtaking, you see Belgrade in all its beauty from the windows. The experience lets you feel like a part of this town. Kitchen wonderfully equipped we whipped up a few dinners for a big group and there was enough of everything from pots and pans to escargot forks! Ana’s tip on taxis was a boon because if the cabs aren’t from the company the rates can be an issue. Walkable to many landmark places like Tesla Museum and St. Sava. Many small cafes around the corner and larger fancier cafe/diners a few blocks away. Conveniently situated between the intimate low key Belgrade neighborhood and the large financial-district style cafes and shopping. The streets are very accurate on maps but the public transport is not available in the map, although it is accessible and somewhat user friendly. Uber could do miracles if allowed and transportation would be significantly smoother, sometimes it was just impossible to find enough cabs for a group. The street however is well known and it is never a hassle to locate it, especially if you manage to pronounce Pozarevacka correctly (pot-tja-re-vatch-ka). The building is a classic and the apartment has been redone amazingly. It’s 4 flights of stairs, but once up there it is as beautiful from the inside as from looking outside the window. Most surely to be visited again!!
