Come and stay with us in our beautiful log house!
We are Valeria and Sacha, an Italian-Australian couple with two kids, Samuel (8) and Gaia (2). We live in the master bedroom and share the house with the other guests. We provide a shuttle to the Annupuri ski slopes in the mornings at 8am; other transportation can be arranged upon request. We can help you to get to know the area and advise you on the best restaurants and onsens to visit. Once a week, we will cook real italian pizza in the wood oven in the house.
You will have the use of all the other facilites of the house, including washer/dryer/bathrooms. This is the perfect solution if you're new to the area, or a looking to hang out with like-minded people in a one-of-a-kind environment.
Prices:
All room prices are quoted for up to 2 pax, per night. Extra guests pay JPY 6,000 per night per guest (N&S Double rooms can fit up to 4 pax each).

House description:
This stunning house is built out of massive local Karamatsu logs and is located in a secluded lane between Annupuri and Niseko Village ski slopes (3 min drive to each). It is also 5 min to Moiwa, 15 min to Hirafu (Ace/Gondola/The Vale) and 25 min to Hanazono, all this while being immersed in the natural beauty of Hokkaido. The house has appeared in several specialized magazines and a video is available on YouTube (search for “Okiny model house”).
House Rules: Mandatory QUIET hours from 10pm to 6am. No parties of any kind. We are looking for people who are keen on skiiing and having a good time while respecting other people's right to a good night sleep.
The house boasts the following amenities laid out on three levels:
BEDROOMS
Ground (entrance) floor:
a) one Japanese-style tatami room with two semi-double size futons. Sleeps 2 adults plus one child. (Futon size: 120x215cm, 47x85")
First Floor:
b) master bedroom : this is occupied by the hosts.
c&d) two large guest rooms with two double size beds in each. Sleeping capacity 2-4 pax each. (Beds sizes: 140x210cm, 55x83").
e) one loft room with a queen size mattress, sleeps 2. Access is via fold-down stairs so not recommended for very young or very old people. (Queen bed size: 160x210cm,63x83")
Total 4 bedrooms for rent with a sleeping capacity of 12 people.

a) 2 full bathrooms
- Each with bath and separate open shower area
- Main bath includes a real Japanese Hinoki wooden bathtub
b) 3 half-bathrooms (toilet & sink)
FIREPLACE/MASONRY STOVE
Beautiful Finnish masonry stove/fireplace (safe as it is totally enclosed, great for cooking pizza/bread and for drying boots and skiwear)

The massive logs and fireplace make the house warm and cozy and it's great to hang out and watch the snow fall through the huge south-facing windows after a hard day on the slopes. In summer the deck is a great place to sit out or enjoy a barbeque.
The location is secluded and exclusive, yet only a 3 minute drive to both Annupuri and Niseko Village Ski Resorts (a car or the use of a taxi is recommended in winter as walking along the roads at night can be dangerous).
It is possible to walk to Annupuri or Niseko Village Ski resorts in winter and then ski back to the house from Annupuri. The walk takes about 12-15 minutes, but we do not recommend you ski back unless you are an accomplished boarder/skier and are well familiar with the (off-piste) route.
