avatar This place is beautiful
Rating: (4) rate
We stayed at villa Takali with our family and had a wonderful relaxing time. takali is a very enjoyable place for all the family there are so many things you can do to fill in your time right there at the villa. We went and purchased some fishing rods and spent a lot of time fishing of the beach and small reef out the front of the villa and weren't short of a catch. The children even had the fish cooked up by the chef for dinner. There is so much sea life for the children to catch a explore like hermit crabs and starfish. Takali is big enough for everyone to have some of there own space and there is no shortage of areas for your group to sit relax and enjoy a cocktail or two .... We like going and sitting at the outdoor bar in the afternoon and having a surprise cocktail of the day. The staff at Takali are such warm and friendly people that you won't want to leave. We had no trouble filling up out 3 weeks at the villa and would recommend it to all.

avatar Exquisite
Rating: (5) rate
Just exquisite...What a fantastic experience we had at Villa Takali last week. The attention to detail in everything is 1st class. This is not your normal Fijian Island holiday. Yes you get an amazing pool which unbelievably is even better than it looks in the website photos, Yes the beach is beautiful and clean, Yes you are surrounded by the warmth and friendliness of the Fijian locals and Yes there is no better place that we've ever seen (and we have travelled a lot) to simply chill out and relax in pure luxury and utter beauty. Every detail has been thought of here. I was told that the owner designed this to contain the best of the best luxury villas and boutique hotels they had stayed in globally. This has been done perfectly with no short cuts anywhere. All the rooms are wonderfully designed. The quality and comfort of all furnishings are equivalent to a 5 star hotel. Beds and all lounging areas (and there are a lot of these) are extremely comfortable. Then there is the movie room (which is no ordinary movie room), the tennis court, the great fully stocked private bar complete with an experienced barman and even a quiet private office if required. The list just goes on and on. But the FOOD...WOW...that really was something none of us expected. We decided to take the full food service option and what a great choice we made. We felt like we were eating at a world class restaurant each breakfast lunch and dinner. We ate down on the private beach as well outside on undercover round table complete with its central rotating tray. The Chefs were just amazing and there is no need to even think about going anywhere else for any meal as the best of the best gets served to you at the villa. We ate so many different foods that its too hard to write down but will give you an idea... Degustation is a "must do" with 5 or 6 courses each so impeccably prepared and crafted. Then there are the sensational a la carte options. Favourite dishes...all of them....standouts: Panko and Nori Tuna Sashimi , Half Lobster Tail with mudcrab & lemon beurre blanc, Rare Beef Salad with truffle oil, Duck Confit with seared scallops and Grilled Sesame Tuna with choi-sum and papaya salad. For dessert do not miss out on the Baked Caramel Cheesecake with banana compote and chocolate sauce or the amazing Fiji Vanilla Crème Brulee. All in all we felt we got double the luxury for half the price of any of the high end Fijian resorts. Thank you Villa Takali – we will definitely be coming back (have already booked actually!!)

avatar An Incredible beachfront property, perfect for a large group for a special celebration
Rating: (5) rate
Our stay at Villa Takali was quite simply AMAZING. We went with two other families with 9 children (aged 3-13) between us and it comfortably housed us all in utmost luxury. The villa is very spacious allowing so many different options that everyone was continually occupied and therefore happy (tennis, hot tub, reading on the extra large sun loungers, indoor cinema -with an incredible amount of downloaded films and series t, escaping for quiet time in one of the two private courtyards, paddle boarding to the reef or walking on the 1.5km stretch of secluded beach) It is stylishly furnished whilst still feeling very homely. The staff, lead by the wonderful warm and friendly Tukini - (who incidentally makes the most fantastic cocktails), could not do enough for us. In our 9 day stay they organised a Lovo (traditional Fijian underground BBQ) Kava ceremony, a meke (Traditional Fijian dance), bonfires on the beach to toast marshmallows, in house massages , hair braiding for the girls, and even organised for the boys to watch the local rugby team training which certainly was a highlight for my son! We also hosted my daughter's birthday and they were so accommodating helping decorate the villa and ensuring it was a day she would never forget. This is an incredibly happy place with special people and stunning sunrises. I can't recommend highly enough, Vinaka vaka levu Villa Takali ,,,, we hope to see you again very soon!

avatar Luxurious villa in unbelievable location

Villa Tikali was an unbelievable venue for a very special vacation Great for kids , stunning beach about 5 feet from the villa and the staff were incredibly friendly, hard working and professional Highlights were the fab pool, cinema room( great for entertaining the kids) ,great beech that we had sole use of and a fantastic bar along with a bar man who makes Tom Cruise in cocktail look ordinary! The Fijian people are so warm as friendly - get ready to say Bula( Hi) to everyone you see

avatar As good as it gets - stunning villa in a beautiful location in a warm and friendly country

What a spectacular Villa! Large, spacious, luxurious, and stunning. Supported by a typically Fijian warm, friendly and attentive staff. I’ve never seen anything like it! The perfect setting for our family holiday. Enough activities on the doorstep (such as tennis, diving, golf) for the active, balanced with enough relaxation options. My personal highlights included relaxing on the hammock listening to the waves; the traditional Lovo meal (prepared in a cover pit with hot rocks); the amazing home cinema room; the shark diving trip; the warrior dancers (called Meke) who put on a show at the Villa; toasting marshmallows by beach bonfire; dinners under the stars at the table on the sand; paddle boarding to the mini reef off the beach for snorkelling; lazing in/ around the impressive infinity pool; and, a cocktail or two mixed by the charismatic and talented Villa Manager Tukini. This is comfortably the best place I’ve ever seen, let alone stayed. Thoroughly recommended.

Villa Takali is one of the best resort villas I have ever stayed at. On arrival at Villa Takali Fiji, Tukini, the manager, greeted us and we were offered a tour of the facilities. There are four separate suites, one master suite, a two story Villa with a second floor suite above a ground floor suite, both with private entrances and a suite above the main living area with a great view of the whole villa and beautiful beach beyond. The other features were the large infinity pool, office, library, large cinema room, bunk room for the children, sunken dinning area, internal lounge, external lounge, grand day bed under cover, external and internal quality sound system, dinning room and a flood lit tennis court. We settled in that night after a refreshing tropical drink prepared by Tukini as we met some of the other staff. We woke up to a beautiful (25 c /80 f) day after a relaxing night on an extremely comfortable bed. The rooms are tranquil and spacious with luxury fittings, satellite TV as well as a huge range of recorded movies and television series available. All of the rooms were very well appointed and it is one of the best floor plans I have seen for a grand villa of this size, as views from each room were fabulous. The room we stayed in opened up at the front and sides, with the glass doors folding back and we felt like we were sleeping under the stars. After three days we felt well rested and had recuperated from the stresses of work. We were well looked after by the staff, who were discrete and wonderfully engaging. We had breakfast served to us in the sunken dinning area each morning, cooked to our request with the option of the SPECIAL of the day, such as Eggs Benedict. The food was great and I would strongly recommend that you ask the chef to cook you the curry, as it was truly fabulous. On day four, I booked in for a dive with a scuba diving company located about 2 minutes down the road just opposite the golf course. It’s run by the locals who pay a nominal fee to the local tribe who have guardianship over the reef where we were diving. I booked in to do the “BAD SHARK” dive (Beqa Adventure Divers). No cages, just diving with a small group amongst the Bull sharks. We were swimming down to 30 meters to be with about 30 to 40 sharks. Some of the female sharks were up to 3.5 meters long. We were no more than a meter away from the sharks as the dive master fed them with tuna heads from a large plastic bin they had lowered down with them. If you have a diving license, it is a must, as this was the best dive I have ever done in my 30 years of diving. The beach at the front of Villa Takali is perfect for all types of water activities or just for a quick dip following a long walk. The infinity pool is fabulous for just cooling off and I used it for long swims to get a few decent laps in. We looked in at the master bedroom, which was very open plan and about twice the size of our room, which was generous enough. The spa pool was located behind the villa for the master bedroom, enclosed in the privacy of the high stone wall. A nighttime relax in the spa with a drink was the perfect place to be before dining at the outside table in the sand area. This was a peaceful setting with the surrounding torches on, sitting at the large table just below the infinity pool. A perfect end to a perfect day. In our suite, we had our own day bed in the private courtyard and an outside shower which we took advantage of regularly. After a night out for dinner and dancing, we returned to the villa, and the entranceway at night was stunning. The shallow pools down both sides of the walkway were illuminated by ornate feature lighting giving a feeling of grandeur and space to the entrance. The local Fijian touches were wonderfully tasteful, as was the Magimagi, the local decorative rope work from coconut fibre on the timber poles. It had a wonderful balance between the Fijian feel with the high quality of many of the luxury resorts I have stayed in. We have stayed in many of the resorts on the main island and many of the smaller boutique island resorts. Villa Takali has the quiet feel of a small island resort with all the advantages of being on the main island. I would recommend Villa Takali to anyone who is visiting Fiji.

avatar Tranquility and luxury, the perfect combination for a wonderful holiday in Fiji

We have just returned from eleven amazing nights at Villa Takali, Fiji. Villa Takali is set amongst two acres of beautiful tropical gardens. The villa is luxurious and tranquil, with its own beachfront, chef and room service, library, office and cinema room. We spent our days lazing by the gorgeous infinity pool, strolling up one of the most beautiful Fijian beaches or reading on a double daybed in one of the secluded courtyards. When we felt more energetic we played tennis, the tennis court is floodlit for night tennis, then finished with a swim in the pool or the beach and a dip in the spa pool. The villa is designed so that you feel like you are on your own beach or island yet just 5 minutes down the road is the convenience of a doctor (which I used and was extremely impressed with), shops and a local supermarket. There are many private areas such as courtyards, lawn areas, beach, sand lounge and dining area, day beds and private balconies with majestic views. The villa is far more spacious than it looks in the photos, you could easily stay here with three families and still have your own areas to escape to without being on top of each other. The staff at Villa Takali were fantastic, extremely friendly yet also with the skill of maintaining an extremely high standard of discreetly providing all of the services required for the guests. Tukini (the manager) organised for our breakfast, lunch and dinner to be set up in a number of areas throughout the villa. My absolute favourite was sitting down to dinner at the long wooden table at night, the gaslights lit, soft music playing and being able to run my toes through the sand whilst the staff ensured a magical evening. Whilst staying at Villa Takali, an island trip was organised for us. The boat collected us from and returned us to our beach villa. A picnic lunch was prepared for us and we spent the day snorkelling, swimming and resting on a lovely secluded island beach. I have stayed at various islands and resorts in Fiji and I would rate Villa Takali as the best by far. I could not recommend it highly enough for anyone looking for an escape to Fiji and the perfect place to stay.

avatar An outstanding Villa in Fiji
Rating: (5) rate
Villa Takali offers everything necessary for a relaxing, luxurious holiday near Pacifc Harbour Fiji. A gracious, yet comfortable residence that is subtle and sophisticated but at no time intimidating to guests. Tukini and Iva and their assistants were there to meet all our needs but remained discreetly in the background enabling us to relax and soak up the surroundings on offer. Our mornings began with us sliding open the doors to our spacious lounge and bedroom and then walking along the deserted beach, before a breakfast of local fresh fruit decorated with the wonderful flowers from the Villa garden. We were reminded each day that this is truly paradise. The pool, a 25 metre infinity pool is stunning whether using it to swim and relax or as a backdrop to the gorgeous reflections especially in the early morning and evenings. There are outdoor loungers and dining areas spaced around the property which enabled us to move depending on how much sun we required throughout the day. A supermarket and fruit/veggie stalls are quite close by and the local people very friendly. We also thoroughly enjoyed the very cool jazz and blues at Baka Blues, a New Orleans style bar and eatery just along the road. An extremely well equipped kitchen meant it was so easy to prepare and present our meals. This is definitely 5 star plus luxury at its best and we loved every minute of our time there.

avatar Villa Takali - Life As It Should Be
Rating: (5) rate
It’s difficult to describe the excellence of Villa Takali. I am a retired United States Secret Service Agent. I have visited, worked and stayed at luxury private residences around the world with presidents, kings, queens and prime ministers. Throughout my entire 24-year career with secret service, I have never been to a more luxuriously calming residence resort than Villa Takali. Waking to the gentle rhythm of the waves from your oceanfront suite restores your youthful vitality and awakens your childhood curiosity for exploration. Making fresh footprints in the sand each morning with no human beings in sight, gives you the feeling of pioneering in the serenity of an undiscovered island. With the sun as your clock, days drift by at the 25-meter oceanfront infinity pool, built for as much relaxation or as much exercise as your heart desires. Bask in the tropical sun poolside or just below the pool on the ocean side, on your own isolated white sand beach. Tennis and basketball are also options, due to the state-of-the-art full sports court, always available during the day and lighted at night. Evenings are a good time to gather with family and friends at the outdoor circular, swiveling, dining table under a thatched roof. This table is large enough to seat 16 companions and small enough to host all of their conversations with one another. After dinner, you can move to the private theater and enjoy over 1,000 movies and shows in royalty comfort. Or, you can toss back some cocktails and/or the local anesthetic, grog, made from sun-dried kava roots. Just relax and listen to joyful days-end conversations in the outdoor living room, while watching the moon’s reflection on the pool and ocean, as it rises over smooth seas and dimly outlines the islands just across the way. Finally you retire to the opulence of your private suite, decorated with hand-made furniture where you can enjoy your flat screen TV (which also has all of the movies and shows), a king size bed and granite bathroom with sunken tub and separate large shower with multiple nozzles including overhead rain shower. This is the perfect ending to a perfect day, everyday. I highly recommend experiencing Life As It Should Be, Villa Takali.

avatar Amazing Luxury Villa in Fiji
Rating: (5) rate
WOW! Is what we felt as we drove in the drive to Villa Takali. The ambience we experienced as we stepped out of the taxi was outstanding. It feels more like your own private resort than a villa. The welcoming smile of the manager Tukini and head housekeeper Iva made us feel truly at ease right from the start, and we knew we were going to love this 5 star villa. Each of the bedrooms is a large suite with bathrooms to die for. Some with outdoor showers as well. Every detail has been expertly designed to give luxury and elegance. Sitting in the outdoor lounge sipping a glass of champagne and gazing across the 25m infinity pool.. We knew we were going to love our 10 day stay. The walks along the secluded beach each morning were divine and unlike many beaches in Fiji, this one has a smooth sandy bottom with no sharp rocks to stub your toes on. We self catered in the dream kitchen which was just perfect for our families but I think you can request a chef to do this for you if you wish. There is a supermarket, wine shop, and fruit and vegetable stalls just along the road, so everything is very handy. Can't wait to return next year. Only worry is when this beautiful Villa in the South Pacific gets discovered we might find it difficult to get reservations. Vinaka Vakalevu Takali.

The Villa Takali is amazing! Without a doubt, the most luxurious facility I have ever stayed in. Gorgeous beach for snorkeling and sup right in your front yard. The rooms were stunning with every possible amenity you can imagine. Plus private tennis and basketball courts, home theater, huge swimming pool and day beds. And to top it off, the best full house and exterior Sonus audio system I have ever seen. My family and friends had the best time. A must see IMO.

This villa is the epitome of Luxury. I spent a week here with my family and what really caught my attention was the detail envisioned and executed in the finishing of this masterpiece . The perfectly placed speakers, the plush 3D theatre room, the library, the pool, the outside teppanyaki bar, the private spa bath .......the list is endless . And all perfectly packaged by host Tukini and house keeper Iva . Furthermore all in close proximity to surfing Beqa reefs and the shark dive and zip lining and rafting ... I really cannot say enough about this amazing little gem on the shores of Loloma beach . 5*z from every angle ! Vinaka Takali see you again in January !!!

avatar Fantastic in so many ways; well worth its value; a super pleasant stay

We stayed at Villa Takali for ten days in a large family group, ages 3 - 80. The house is outstanding, with luxurious attention to detail, and has something for everyone - an infinity pool, tennis court, hot tub, movie theater, library and study, with a magnificent beach reaching to the lawn. Truly, a wonderful place. An excellent staff of about eight took care of our every need, including special diet requirements, with kindness and care - they also provided baby-sitting as needed. We are grateful to the owner for a stay that surpassed all our hopes, and for having helped make our family vacation a huge success.

For a large group of both adults and 6 kids under 10, you could not think of a more perfect, venue and location. Photo's do not do Villa Takali justice. The house is amazing, the kids were in heaven with the pool, ocean, bunk house, movies, tennis....And the adults could be either be involved or not as they chose. The service of Tukini, Ala and their crew is top class. The food and cocktails of high quality resort level. Awesome!

This place is fantastic -the photos do not do it justice. We stayed as a group of 15 -3 families -6 adults and 9 children aged 9-15 The villa is set on 2 acres and there is so much room and so many different places to be. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt more relaxed than we have in along time. WE had the fully catered option which was fantastic and a must -made it so much more enjoyable. The food was excellent and the service was magnificent. Tukini, Ala and the rest of the staff were always friendly, approachable and there when we need anything. For what you are getting the price is extremely reasonable and in my view an absolute bargain. Do yourself a favour and come to this place.

avatar Perfection!

What an amazing property. I was blown away from the minute we walked in the door. It's like having an entire resort all to yourself. The house is beautifully designed and decorated. The rooms are all bright and luxurious and well situated so you could have your own space. Not to mention the view looking out over the water and islands in the distance. The kids practically lived in the pool! I really can't speak highly enough of the friendly and attentive staff. I can definitely recommend making use of their expertise in making your holiday that much more special. I have no negatives to mention so I will end my review with this bold statement. Best. Holiday. Ever.

avatar Most Magnificent Paradise We Have Ever Stayed

Words and photos can never do real justice to this paradise. From the moment you step into the entrance ( which will blow you away ) to Villa Takali you will be totally spellbound by the size and design of the complex . The owners have obviously travelled extensively , and this is reflected by the design, furniture, fittings, and right down to the Pure Fiji toiletries . Bedrooms are all very large and each one contains a private lounge, big bathrooms etc. We were a family group of 10, including young grandkids.....the time was spent mostly in this magnificent huge pool.....with plenty of safe swimming areas for little ones. The beach is right in front of the pool and is beautiful. The master stroke is Tukini and his wife Ayla....these are Fijian" hosts with the most"...nothing, but nothing was ever too much trouble for this team......laughter means everything....and cocktail time was a big "CHEERS" from Tukini. They have a big team of housekeepers and gardeners that keep the Villa and grounds immaculate . Having your own personal chef was the best decision for us to go with...thanks Ben and Junior. Special times for the grandkids ( and adults ) was the Bonfire on the beach, and chasing crabs by torchlight . This was the best family holiday ever, and will be remembered for years and years....worth every penny !!!!

We were Blown away by how absolutely Amazing Villa Takali is. Everything at the villa is pure perfection. From the moment you arrive you are greeted by the team of very friendly Villa Takali staff Lead by the Happy kind and hardworking Tukini and Ala. Nothing was ever too much trouble and always done with a smile that Fiji is famous for. Then there is your own personal chef if you wish to have and we did and we loved every meal that Head chef Ben and Junior lovingly made for us. Booking online for a large group of 11 is a bit daunting. You hope that the photos and description, live up to the expectations. I can honestly say that Villa Takali exceeded any expectations we had. The Fijian staff are professional yet informal, making you feel so welcome and everything seem effortless - amazing people. The property itself is outstanding. The pictures do not do it justice. Huge, well appointed rooms which are more like apartments, massive pool, with a fantastic beach. Tennis court, theatre and outdoor dining. I cannot recommend highly enough, you won't be disappointed.

we were a group of 17 (6 adults and 11 children aged 11-17). this was our second time to Villa Takali and again we loved every minutre of being there. For such a large group there was so much room, that allowed all of us to have space when needed but to be able to all come together at other times. the pool is absolutely fantastic and we could not keep the kids out. again tukini ala and all the staff were fantastic -all were very approachable and saw to our every need again i could not recommended this strongly enough to any group. the most relaxing place you could go to.

Myself, my three adult children and their spouses stayed at Villa Takali for 10 days in late May. From the time we arrived to the time we departed everything was perfect. Tukini, Ala and the rest of the staff tended to our every need without being intrusive. We chose the food and bar option which turned out to be delightful in every way. I cannot say enough good things about this special place. Truly a slice of paradise. We have already decided to book again next year. You cannot go wrong.

We stayed at Villa Takali for 8 nights in Dec 2015 to celebrate a major birthday. We were a party of 9; 5 adults in their 50s/60s and 4 boys in their early 20s. The compound is larger than it appears in the photos. There were ample places to hang out together, but also enough space that people could easily find a quiet spot to relax by themselves. All the bedrooms are are actually very spacious suites. The master bedroom is even more impressive and like a compound within a compound. In addition to the large bedroom, lounge area, bathroom and walk-in robe it also has an enclosed private back garden with hot tub. We used the lounge area for massages every day. The attention to detail in the construction and fittings is very impressive. Clearly the owner spared no expense to create a 5-star resort that does an excellent job of blending traditional Fijian architecture with all the mod cons. Jonathan (the owner) and Mark (his manager) were very easy to deal with throughout the booking and planning process. The sandy beach is literally steps away. Although it is a public beach it was so quiet it was like having your own private beach. Great snorkeling right off the beach and the villa has a couple of kayaks which we used frequently. The huge Infinity pool was also used practically every day. The villa includes use of a van which came in handy. We used it multiple times, to drive to Suva, for sightseeing in the area, as well as to get to Nadi to go deep sea fishing. I recommend deep sea fishing. I prefer flying to boats, but this was fun. The nice thing about Fiji is you can go deep sea fishing, but still be in sight of land. We caught several fish including three yellowfin tuna. I’m not sure if this is specific to Fiji, but it seems that whichever boat you charter will only allow you to keep one fish. Initially I wasn’t keen on this, but it turned out to be a non-issue. The tuna was large enough that we were able to have a feast of fresh sashimi that evening and the next. For my birthday the staff organized some locals to play guitar and sing for us while we had champagne and snacks prior to a traditional Fijian feast. I also requested a meke (Fijian traditional dance performance) after dinner which was a unique and wonderful experience for everyone. We topped it off with a kava ceremony - an “interesting” beverage. All in all it was a memorable way to spend my birthday. One of the few minor quibbles I had was that when we did the lovo it was raining so the outdoor part was canceled. I presumed they were doing it somewhere under shelter, and that they would bring us over to watch how they cooked the food. However, that didn’t happen. The food was tasty, but I was also after the experience. We chose the full food service option and I’m very glad we did. There was always plenty of food. In fact, despite having four young males with healthy appetites, there was never a day when we were able to finish everything. I think this may have something to do with the Fijian culture of sharing; to cook extra so that the staff can also partake. The food was tasty, healthy and there was a lot of variety. The seafood was, of course, fantastic. I wrote to the chef before we left to discuss the menu. The staff were also very accommodating with on-the-fly changes and requests. The villa is located between Nadi and Suva. It is a quiet area, which suited us as my goal was to rent a place where we could enjoy each other’s company and nature. The only downside was a few bugs, but unfortunately that goes with the territory in any tropical location. Finally, a shout out to Tukini, Ala (his wife) and the entire staff who looked after us. Fijians are renowned for their friendliness and the staff at Villa Takali are great ambassadors for their country. A special commendation to Ala who has a wonderful personality and just does a fantastic job. She is also an excellent singer! Overall, great value and a very memorable vacation.

Our extended family of 10 stayed at Takali from Christmas through New Years. Villa is well designed with lots of common areas and large bedrooms. Having the large pool and beach right in front of the house was great - we practically had the whole stretch of beautiful beach to ourselves. We loved using the tennis/basketball court every day as well. Food was delicious and Tukini, Ala, and crew were fabulous.

Villa Takali is incredible. Semi-private beach, huge infinity pool, palatial estate! There is a movie theatre and a wide selection of films that are also available within the rooms for when the weather is a little crummy, and more than enough room across the property for everyone to do what they like. Staff was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond!

We had a famaily reunion based around a 50th birthday. There were 13 of us staying in this palacial resort. As soon as we drove up to the entrance we knew this was a class above anything else on the Island. It was definitely a 5 star hotel experience. The staff were so lovely, genuinely warm and welcoming and the in house Chef produced brilliant and such a varied menu every day. We were all so relaxed every day as the location right on the secluded beach felt so peacefull and idyllic. This modern resort, beautiful architecture using traditional structures and techniques, spacial comfortable bedrooms and massive communal rooms that opened up to the lush gardens all engendered a calm and serene experience.

The villa was completely beautiful - it felt like a private hotel. We had the beach to ourselves and every little detail had been thought out inside the house. You never want to leave!

I have travelled the world and stayed in many glorious places and this was undoubtedly the best. Beautiful Vista out over the beach and islands, outstanding lodging and a pool that is huge and inviting. The Managers were great...such lovely Local Fijians. All Our needs were meet at all times. Any missions we wanted to go on or anything we wanted sorted out Our was handled quickly and easily by them. Our main mission was surfing Frigates Reef. It's a world class left hand reef break that isn't crowded like a lot of other Fijian surf spots. The boat picked us up from the beach in front of the Villa each morning, and transported us back once we had had our fill..usually late afternoon. The food was like eating at a 5 star restaurant for every meal...it was abundant and included lots of local seafood. 3 dining areas! There's a bar, a sound system with speakers all around the property. The beach in front of the house is lovely and vert available. Beds were super comfy..amd all the bedrooms were roomy and classy. We had looked at other accommodations around the area, including the resort next door..im so glad we chose Villa Takani as it worked out about half the price as the resorts and was easily a much better place to stay. We will be back for more!

Villa Takali and its staff not only impressed instantly me upon arrival but contined to exceed expectation thoughout my weeklong stay. The design and layout oozes indulgence, beauty, relaxation and privacy. Very comfortable beds and well appionted bathrooms give way to the amazing vista and glorious sunrises viewed through the picture widows or on the balcony. Breaking the flawless palm tree/ sunrise reflection on the gorgeous swimming pool most mornings lit me up and certainly filled me with pleasure. Tukini and his wife, Ala, along with chef Ben, provided exceptional meals and a myriad of marvelous cocktails. Housekeeping was non-invasive and done to a high standard. Our group partook in many activities including: Spearfishing; snorkelling; surfing; tennis; massage; golf; Suva excursion; local bars; paddle boarding; Kava ceremony. All requests were met with smiles and affirmations. Nothing was a problem and all desires were met. The feeling of being a prodical son returning home fell over me more than once. I felt very at home and very nurtured. Bula Vinaka

If you are looking to holiday in paradise you couldn't get much closer than Villa Takali. The natural beauty of the location combined with the 5 star luxury of the villa meant that we were able to totally relax and enjoy our time in absolute comfort. The staff were exceptional and ensured that our every need was catered for from the moment we arrived. The food and service provided were second-to-none, the villa is exquisitely presented and perfectly equipped to enjoy a range of activities in total luxury. There were also plenty of extra activities on offer arranged by the staff including scuba diving, island boat trips, as well as Fijian evenings of music and dance. We stayed there with our extended family ranging across three generations with all ages included, and there was truly something for everyone there to enjoy. We had the holiday of a lifetime, one that we certainly won't forget, and couldn't recommend Villa Takali more highly to anyone else visiting this idyllic island and looking for somewhere extremely special to stay.

Our stay at Villa Takali was BETTER than expected. The property and location are beautiful, but the hospitality shown by Tukini, Miss Alla and the staff was un-believable. They are simply the best. The food prepared to our unique needs by Chef Ben was superb, truly gourmet every day. It was like having our own private 5 star resort. We highly recommend this location and know you will be well taken care of. BULA

We stayed for over a week and had the best stay. It could not have been better! The staff were fantastic, the food unbelievable, the cocktails perfect, the beds super comfy and the weather did it's bit also. The facilities are clean and expansive. We sat in front of the most gorgeous infinity pool with coconut trees in front looking over a wonderful beach with a lovely sea breeze to keep the temperatures cool. We played on the great tennis court then dipped in the pool or sea. We went spear fishing wilh locals and played in the surf out at Frigates Reef. Just awesome. We got treated to local cooking and had a wonderful evening around the Kava bowl with Takino and his family and friends. I can recommend Villa Takali to anyone. It oozes luxury and opulence and is totally private with fantastic facilities, staff and food. I have travelled throughout the world and this is certainly a winner.

For starters our trip was last minute, as in I booked it the day before arrival. The owner and staff went out of their way to get it ready for us and given the size of the property this is no small task. Upon arrival the staff was beyond helpful, friendly and made us feel more than welcome throughout our stay. Each suite is set up to be its own private sanctuary. A property of this magnitude was an unexpected delight as I found nothing else even close in comparison. Villa Takali in itself would be reason enough to travel to Fiji. Thanks again for incredibly hospitality!

Our stay at Villa Takali was absolutely amazing. The large resort style property was perfect for our extended family of 8 adults and 7 kids with plenty of room for everyone and lots of spaces for people to chill out in private if they wanted to. Nothing was too much trouble for Tukini and his lovely staff, they really made our stay. And the food that the chef Ben cooked was wonderful. In addition to the lovely, varied cuisine that we ate at each meal, he catered beautifully for the 2 birthdays that we celebrated during our stay. The kids loved the huge pool and the spa and we all spent lots of time on the private tennis/basketball court. The kids also loved the movie room with its massive screen and huge array of movies. While the parents loved the private bar and Tukini's cocktails! We couldn't have asked for any more and we will definitely be back!

avatar Absolute best of the best in every way, no comparison! A must visit experience.

The 2 acre double lot provides a massive ultra luxurious fortress which is all yours to enjoy. From the entrance to every oversized room no expense was spared and you'll notice that the smallest details have been carefully thought out with one goal....the ultimate high end experience, with plush amenities that are world class. Tukini is the concierge manager and there for every request/need having local knowledge of everything to do such as surfing, snorkelling, swimming with sharks, beach walks, zip-lining, rafting this is the place for fun and activities.Tukini is also the nicest, friendliest guy you'll meet and a real joy of warmth and you'll be close friends right from the start. The Fijian people are among the nicest and happiest people I've ever had the pleasure to visit with. Ben, your personal chef creates amazing gourmet meals for the family and every single meal was perfect and tasty. The only problem with the villa was that our time there came to an end. You'll definitely want to come back here many times and make it a regular destination. We will be back often!

My family and friends stayed at Villa Takali over Christmas and had the most incredible experience that we cannot even put it into words. The house was incredible and it is not possible to have a better location on a better beach - way better than we expected! The staff is accommodating and incredible and rivals the excellence of the house! We all thought it was the best view of anywhere we had ever stayed and all of us including our teenage kids believe it was the best vacation we'd ever had!!!

Arriving on Easter Sunday on our inaugural trip to Fiji we were blown away by the majestic Villa Takali. From the moment we arrived until leaving our family of 5 were treated like royalty. The service we received was as good if not better than any 5 Star hotel in the world. Sumptuous food prepared by a Gourmet chef was served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our hosts went out of their way to arrange day trips such as surfing, golf, snorkelling, shopping and entertainment. There was plenty to do at the Villa, including stand up paddle boarding, canoeing, Swimming, Tennis and a large indoor cinema for those occasional rainy days. Our rooms were expansive with deluxe bedding and furnishings including oversized baths, outdoor jacuzzi and showers all set in lush tropical vegetation overlooking the sea. The entire villa was amticulously maintained and our rooms serviced daily. Thank you to the team at Villa Tikali for vastly exceeding our expectations.
