El Andalous is a luxury apart-hotel right by the beautiful beach at Sahl Hasheesh. It has an attractive Egyptian style reception area which is manned 24/7, which leads to the well kept gardens with two beautiful (unheated) swimming pools and a waterfall. The pool area has sunbeds and sun umbrellas which are free to use. As you walk through the gardens you have excellent views over the pier and beach. There is also a private beach, by the apartments and the pier, with sun-loungers and parasols. Steps lead down to the private beach, promenade and a small shop for your everyday needs.
Located on the ground floor 137 El Andalous, is a two bedroom / two bathroom apartment, which sleeps four people (plus a cot for a baby is provided, if required). It is air-conditioned throughout and has been beautifully equipped with quality furniture. All the fixtures and fittings are of a high standard. It has a good sized balcony area with seating, offering views over the beach, pier, pretty gardens and pool.

Room for drying clothes (airer supplied) is on the smaller balcony. Patio doors from the main balcony lead to the lounge.

Sahl Hasheesh is a purpose-built paradise on the Red Sea Riviera, It offers up everything from an under-water 'sunken city' to a fabulous white sand beach which seems to stretch for miles. Surrounded by beautiful bays with stunning beaches leading to the crystal clear blue waters of the Red Sea you can choose to laze on its beaches whilst soaking up the sun, snorkel, scuba dive, visit the local bars, restaurants and shops or relax in the magical Piazza area.
As you can imagine from such a new resort, everything is incredibly clean and stylish. In particular, there's an elegantly designed pier of white stone leading into the Red Sea and a Sunken City has even been created beneath the water as a home for the exotic species of fish found here. You are able to snorkel and scuba-dive around this area. The Piazza in itself is a real marvel, with Egyptian style lamps, fountains and a shimmering man-made canal. At night, it's lit up in beautiful colours of neon pink, green and purple.
Sahl Hasheesh International Resort is located approximately 18 km south of Hurghada, and is set to become the largest fully integrated resort area on the Red Sea coast of Egypt. The area enjoys expansive views of the Red Sea, mountains and coast line, clearly exhibiting the beauty of its location, surroundings and natural landscape.
Sahl Hasheesh is highly accessible being just 20 minutes drive from Hurghada, itself a prominent holiday destination. We can provide the services of our British ex-pat apartment manager for a safe and comfortable taxi service, tours and excursions (which can be tailor-made), airport transfers and all transportation during your stay (he is an official tour guide and taxi driver).
Upon arrival, you will be greeted and shown around the apartment by the apartment manager, who will ensure that you are happy with everything. He can also offer to lend you a mobile phone to make cheap local calls during your stay, if you wish.
We can, if requested, also provide a basic food package for your arrival (unless you choose to stop off at the supermarket on your way to the resort, which the driver is happy to do), or even have flowers, fruit, Champagne or other alcohol at the apartment upon your arrival (at an additional cost which will be calculated when your request is made).
Flights are available from all major destinations throughout Europe making it one of the easiest resorts to get to. The perfect all year climate also means that you can enjoy a stay at any time of the year with the almost 100% guarantee of sunshine throughout your stay.
Please do contact me with any questions or requests... I want to make sure that your stay with us is special and will do everything possible to make it so.

We stayed here from December 2014 to March 2015 to escape the English winter, and we are so glad we chose it. The apartment is great. Two good sized bedrooms, one with ensuite and power shower, have comfy beds, air conditioning and loads of storage space. There is an additional bathroom with a fabulous power shower. The sitting/dining room is spacious and comfortable, with air conditioning and a flat screen satellite tv. There are about a thousand channels in all the languages you could imagine. We found a couple of English language news channels and four channels which showed movies in English. The kitchen has everything you need. The sitting room leads out to a balcony where you can watch the world go by. The apartment is smart, all the fittings are modern and it quickly feels like your home from home. The apartment block is smart and well staffed, and all the staff are friendly and keen to help. Almost next door is a small shop where you can buy basic foodstuffs. In easy walking distance, along the promenade is a variety of shops, and a handful of restaurants. Shopping rapidly becomes an entertainment in its own right: haggle, haggle, haggle. You will get some good deals. The beach is vast, and extends maybe for ten miles or so. The apartment has its own private beach with free sunbeds and sunshades, and it is less than a hundred yards from the apartment. Swimming is safe, and the sea is warm. You will need swimming shoes. If you have the time visit Hurghada and the Senzo shopping mall. A day trip to Luxor is recommended. The owner, Shelley, is really friendly and helpful, and replies to queries without delay. She has an agent almost on site, Chris, who will help with anything you need. He lent us a moblie phone so we could contact him without the expense of using our own!

This lovely apartment has everything you require to create the perfect self-catering holiday. Everything has been done to a high standard yet still feels comfortable and homely. The owner was helpful, friendly and easy to contact and deal with. El Andalous is a lovely development, pleasantly quiet, with enough sun-loungers for everyone. It is conveniently located right by the pier, underwater city and next to the 'Old Town'. The private beach has sun-loungers and parasols and offers good snorkelling opportunities. Sahl Hasheesh itself is still on the quiet side (except for the Pyramisa hotel, to the north of Sahl Hasheesh, which seems very busy) which will suit some guests. For those wanting a more lively scene, Hurghada is just a short drive away. The resort has the most wonderful Italian ice-cream shop, just by Il Gusto Restaurant. We found the Piazza Restaurant very good, and the cafe at El Andalous is convenient and ideal if you don't want to go far. It also introduced wifi during our stay (La Piazza also has wifi). Pro Divers is a great dive school and centre, with a family feel. One real bonus that this property has is a great letting manager, who also does airport transfers, excursions (that can be tailored to your needs) and offers a safe taxi service for the duration of your stay. He is always available by phone to answer any questions or deal with any potential problems. On the whole, it is the perfect place to have a quiet, relaxing holiday. We would definitely recommend this holiday let and would be happy to go again.

We went to Salh Hasheseh for 1 week with our 2 children and 2 other families with young children. The apartment is beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and air conditioning. It is a ground flow apartment just a hop away from the swimming pools which our children spent most of the time in and had mainly all to themselves too. They didn't need heating at this time of the year. The beach is stunning with very flat calm seas again perfect for the kids. The beach we used wasn't busy and there were always sunbeds and umbrellas free of charge to use. The resort is still developing and there are more shops opening up nearby selling all sorts and also a pharmacy. There is a great tour centre in the Al Souk above adidas which we used for a glass bottom boat tour, AMAZING trip. There is a couple water parks within a 30 min taxi ride away which again was a great day out. We will definatley be going back and using the same apartment too.

We were a party of eleven, all family, celebrating my husbands 60th Birthday in the fantastic resort of Sahl Hasheesh. We booked several apartments for the duration of our stay, with Shellys apartment 1.37 being allocated to our son and daughter in law who had a one year old child with them. This was due to it being situated on the ground floor, so no stairs to negotiate with buggy's. It slept four, just the right size for them. We were supplied with a cot, which was obviously essential, and there was a washing machine, once again, essential with young children!! I can only say we were extremely happy with the apartment, which was a good size, comfortable, decorated to a high standard and clean. It was well equipped with all comforts of a home from home. The couple of nights that my son and his family did stay in, they spent a peaceful night sitting out on the balcony overlooking the fantastic views and sunsets that Sahl Hasheesh has to offer, sipping a welcome glass of wine. The owner had pre arranged all of our pick ups from the airport and we were met by a really helpful English taxi driver who took us straight to El andalous, where the reception staff could not have been more helpful to all of us.It was all organised extremely well, which really helped after a long day travelling with young tired children!! The resort is fabulous, with lush green gardens set around 2 pools. Miles and miles of white sandy beaches, and clear blue waters less then 1 minute away from the apartment! We were able to purchase basic groceries from the local store at the bottom of the stairs, poolside. The local restaurants, in particular La Piazza were welcoming and made us feel like part of their family. The food was good, and not too expensive. We did eat out one night at The Premier Romance, the food was excellent but a little expensive. Overall, we had a family holiday to remember at this little oasis in the desert. I would recommend this location and apartment to anyone!

I have just returned from a stay in Shelley’s apartment, I found the ease of transfer from the airport using her recommended agent simple and reasonable, stopping at the supermarket on the way was also easy and set me up with the food I needed for lunches and breakfast for the week. The apartment itself is a real home from home, with everything you could need for a self catering holiday, the instructions and brochures gave a real sense of what was available in the area and the cost. I was able to use a pay as you go Wifi device provided by Chris (Shelley’s agent) for a reasonable fee, this gave me wifi wherever I was. I could have chosen to be to be tech free for the week, but wanted to keep in touch with family while I was away. I loved the closeness of the pool, and the beach, the snorkelling in the sunken city was my first experience, but I found the old pier was much better, I saw Tuna, Baracuda and Zebra fish.

Me my wife and son have just returned from a weeks stay in October , we were met at the airport pre arranged with owner Shelley by Chris her apartment manager and also our taxi driver swiftly from the airport to the nearby Senzo Mall so we could stock up on groceries from Spinneys supermarket for our weeks stay and then on to Sahl Hasheesh which was only a 15 drive away , we had also agreed with Shelley to have some alchohol delived to our apartment prior to our stay and Chris had already put some of our beer in the fridge so it was nice and cold for our arrival which was a lovely touch. The apartment itself was wonderful with aircon in all rooms a tv with a few English speaking film channels which was great if you needed to escape the heat , the kitchen also had an oven if you fancied doing your own breakfast etc and a large fridge freezer and all the extras pots pans cutlery etc and also the apartment had an on suite bathroom and shower plus another huge bathroom and shower, it also had a lovely balcony which looked out onto the beautiful garden and swimming pools which were very clean safe and warm, it really was a place where you could spend as much time in as after a couple of days felt like your own home Sahl Hasheesh is a beautiful very quiet resort with a couple of bars and restaurants including the wonderful El Gusto and our favourite due to the wonderful staff Chez Paul with cheap food and drink and wonderful beach views , everyone couldnt do enough for us to ensure we wanted for nothing and so friendly making our stay as wonderful as possible , we certainly will miss some of the friends we made There were also excursions nearby if you fancied snorkelling quad biking visiting Cairo or Luxor etc although our apartment manager Chris also ran excursions with his company Hurghada Tourist Services so you may want to check with him first as i had used them for our trip to Luxor last year Overall we had a wonderful stay at a beautiful and quiet apartment / resort and wouldnt hesitate to recommend to all our friends and family and we cant wait to go back .Thanks for a wonderful holiday

We have just spent 7 months in Shelley's apartment, over winter, and it was the perfect place to stay. Everything is provided so it feels like a home from home. Outside the balcony, the garden is beautifully tended, and the bougainvillaea that grows up the side of the building, frames it beautifully. For me, lots of trees and greenery means lots of birds, so I spent a lot of time taking photos of the garden- birds, the beautiful flowers and the resident Merlin. Because it was quiet, due to less tourists, it meant that the northern coast-line was devoid of people so we could walk to our heart's content, taking endless photos of crabs, and sea-life, and a pair of nesting Osprey. A short walk down the marina meant swim-free fish-watching and the enjoyment of brisk sea-breezes. We also chatted to the fishermen there, and were graced with a shower of squid ink, as one fisherman showed us what he was catching! Still haven't managed to get it out of my 'white' trousers! But, lesson learned! There are small grocery shops, a pharmacy with a genuinely helpful guy running it, (Ibrahim) a couple of bazaars and electric cars/bikes to rent, and Best-way supermarket is only a five minute walk away. Trips to Senzo mall and Hurghada were easy too, with a short taxi ride taking you wherever we needed need to go. I also found the two big yarn shops in Hurghada so I was able to stock up on really inexpensive cotton yarns and beads for my weaving and crochet. So much fun being able to buy more yarn than I could ever afford in the UK! Because Shelley's flat has EVERYTHING you could need, it was easy to be there. There as nothing else we needed to get as all was provided. Security is also a priority in El Andalous, and there are security cameras making sure everyone feels secure. The staff there too are lovely and more than happy to help. Look out for the beach guy, Abdou, a lovely young man from Aswan with a beautiful, friendly face and personality to match. He helps with the beach beds, on the private Al Andalous beach. As a tenant in Shelley's flat, you also get the use of beach-beds and a windbreak. There are two pools, one child-free, waterfalls in the garden, and the beach is 100 meters in front of you. You can see the marina and the boats moored there too, from the balcony. There are local restaurants and cafes and beach-front bars. It really does have everything. Shelley's prices very much reflect what you get in the flat, and her prices are excellent. The decor is beautiful, Moroccan-style, the TV has a zillion channels, and the flat is both spacious and homely. She has made it a lovely place to stay and we were grateful that we were able to spend so long there. We are recommending it to all of our friends as we really loved it and given the opportunity would happily rent it again.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Sahl Hasheesh. Communication with Shelley before the trip ensured that everything went smoothly, from airport transfers to a stop at the supermarket on the way to the apartment. The apartment itself is lovely and had everything you could want. It is stylish, clean and really felt like home. It's location is also perfect! Just by the beach (with a private beach), and with two lovely pools in the garden: all with sun loungers and parasols. It's right by the Old Town, the Sunken City (an underwater architectural feature) and a short stroll from a variety of shops, bars, restaurants and a great dive centre. Hurghada is just a short drive away if you want to enjoy the buzz of a busier location and transport can be arranged by Shelley's local agent who can also arrange trips and excursions. To summarise: This is the perfect place to stay if you want a laid-back and peaceful holiday. We will be back!

We had a great holiday in your appartment. We have been for three times now to El Andalous. Your appartment is on the ground floor and that makes it the perfect place to be. El Andalous is a great place to have holiday, the beach and the see. The sunken city, we love it. Every day snorkling so verry beautiful.
