Ideally situated on the banks of Upper Lough Erne and with direct access to the Shannon-Erne Waterway, Foalies Bridge 14, offers the holiday maker a peaceful, quiet and relaxing stay with all the benefits of being located close to the waters edge.
The dormer bungalow is newly built, complete with a log burning fire and fitted out to a very high spec level. The bungalow has four bedrooms, two en-suite and a third bathroom. It has a large landing upstairs offering fabulous views of the surrounding Geopark and wetlands. The house comes equipped with most modern mod cons including Wi-Fi.
Also importantly the bungalow is wheel chair accessible (downstairs).
Foalies Bridge is a private gated community with a very well maintained common area, including its own moorings for the boat or fishing enthusiast. Foalies Bridge 14 looks directly out over these mooring so is ideal to keep an eye on the kids whilst they fish.
The estate itself is only 3 miles from the town of Belturbet, well known for its fishing and water sports such as rowing and kayaking. Belturbet itself and Foalies Bridge are situated in the only International Geopark with protected wildlife sanctuaries offering the visitor many varied walks and wildlife spotting opportunities.
Nearby well known amenities in the vicinity are the Slieve Russell Championship golf course, the Scouts centre at Castle Saunderson, the Belturbet parkland golf course, Crom Estate, the Marble Arch Caves, Florence Court, the Cavan Burren, Breffni Park, St Tiernach's Park and the Shannon Erne Waterway.
Being located in a protected wildlife sanctuary we would like the visitor to enjoy and help preserve the area for the next generation, so guided wildlife and fishing tours can be booked separately.

I stayed at 14 Foalies Bridge with my daughter her husband and their two children (2 and 7years old) also my son-in-law's, mother, father and brother. We were met promptly when we arrived by Kevin's wife who was very friendly and explained all we needed to know about the house. The house is well equipped and very pleasant. During our stay the television broke down, we contacted Kevin and it was replaced immediately. The four sizeable bedrooms two with en suites gave us all plenty of space and privacy. The children loved playing on the landing area. The views from the front windows are lovely and the back garden pleasant private and safe for children to play, backing on to fields, where sheep were grazing, all adding to the whole area being totally relaxing.

Foalies bridge was a very enjoyable Stay, Kevin was very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us I would highly recommended this place and is ideal for families!

Me, my husband and the 4 kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay in foalies bridge. The house had everything we needed for our short break away and was a really good base for our exploring the local area. Will definitely be booking again in the near future. Many thanks Kevin
