We visited on a beautiful weekend - I'm told the weather isn't always so nice! Emma's flat is in Stockbridge, a pretty and well located park of Edinburgh with plenty to do and see. We enjoyed the market, Botanic gardens and restaurants and cafes nearby.
The flat is a good size and is beautifully decorated. It has all you need for a trip away from home and in addition you have the benefit of a private garden along a stream/ river walk at the top of the road. Very glad we chose this flat!

This is a beautiful and well equipped flat in a fantastic location. We had a lovely 2 night stay to visit the festival with some friends.
Stockbridge is an oasis away from the very busy festival but in easy walking distance to the city. There are really nice shops and restaurants very close by.
Emma is great and answers any queries you have very quickly. The tea, coffee milk and shortbread on arrival was very much appreciated.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate a special occasion recently. Emma had given us all the information we needed to check in, and the milk, tea, coffee and shortbread was much appreciated - as was the bottle chilling in the fridge to celebrate! Despite it being very cold in the city, it was a lovely cosy flat. It had everything we needed to feel like a home from home. Free parking was a lovely walk through the village to get to, and ended up being really close to the Botanic Gardens, which was a lovely walk on a crisp wintry day. I don't have any complaints about this lovely flat at all (and it was really interesting to see how much work has been put into getting it to how it looks today, courtesy of the photos in the WC chronicling its transformation!). Thanks Emma, we'll recommend this to other folk coming to stay in Edinburgh in the future.

We had a very comfortable stay in a beautiful, spacious flat. All home comforts and more were provided - fresh flowers, tea, coffee, shortbread etc. Very welcoming and helpful host.
The location is great - walking distance of the city centre but with its own local shops very close by, though the street itself is very quiet. There is a fantastic local market every Sunday, also many restaurants and food outlets. A beautiful private garden is another unusual extra.
Very happy with everything

This excellent garden flat is located in the vibrant "village" of Stockbridge which offers a variety of restaurants, pubs and interesting shops. Princes Street and the Royal Mile are a 20 minute walk away or you can catch a bus nearby. The buses serve many parts of central Edinburgh.
The flat is comfortable, quiet and clean. Emma (the owner) is very helpful and eager to ensure you enjoy your stay.

Having never visited Stockbridge before, we were all delighted to find the local shopping centre well within reach by foot, offering an array of different eating genre. The garden flat was well appointed, and Emma, the proprietor, was great at getting back with any questions we had.....would not hesitate booking again

The apartment was really beautiful and perfect for two couples. We had everything we needed and more. We loved being in Stockbridge and either walked or used public transport to reach wherever we wanted to go. We also found lots of excellent eating places nearby. Emma was most friendly, helpful and obliging. Altogether a great little holiday. Thank you.

We absolutely loved our stay...
The apartment was spotlessly clean, homely, comfortable & in the perfect location.
We love the Stockbridge area, you are spoiled for choice regarding restaurants & Cafe’s so the fully equipped kitchen within the apartment was surplus to our requirements!
10-15 minute walk to Princes Street yet far enough away from the hustle & bustle of the city centre so you can relax & enjoy your stay in peace & quiet!
While walking to the centre you see so many other beautiful wee shops that you would never know were there otherwise... especially the antique shops.
Emma was ever so helpful with her recommendations etc & whenever I needed to contact her she replied almost immediately!
We would recommend this property to any one & we will definitely be back.
Only negative thing is that we had to come home.

Well located for town, lots of bars & restaurants avail. Apartment was really well furnished throughout,Emma was very helpful and responsive. only comment. - we didnt register that "garden apartment" meant it was a basement flat.
Still enjoyed our stay despite that.
Stockbridge Restaurant was really good too!

Would definitely stay here again, we both loved the location and the apartment which also has a garden seating area - so charming. The beds were very comfortable, lots of space to put away clothes and wooden hangers. The lounge very spacious with plenty of seating and large table for family meal times. Emma (the owner) was delightful and nothing was too much trouble, she also provided a welcome pack and there were some gorgeous narcissi in a vase on the dining table.
Thank you Emma for your thoughtfulness and personal touch - that goes a long way in my book.

This was a very nice apartment. It is large with 2 bedrooms and 3! bathrooms. It was spotlessly clean, with nice furnishings and comfortable beds. The apartment was walking distance to many/most attractions with lots of pubs and restaurants and small stores close by.
Emma was a wonderful host. She communicated regularly with us about all issues and allowed us a late check out to accommodate our later flight. She left lovely touches in the apartment for us: coffee/tea/milk/cookies, etc. There is everything there that you will need to be comfortable. There are also good instructions in the unit on operating appliances and wifi and heating. Although we did not meet Emma, she was great to deal with and everything was as promised.
Thank you Emma!

This apartment is on a quiet street in Stockbridge, within easy reach of the city center by bus or on foot, but without the crowded pavements and constant traffic. Residents have access to gated, tranquil gardens across the road from the apartment. A two minute walk brings you to Stockbridge where there is any kind of restaurant, cafe or bar you could want and an interesting range of shops. The apartment is very comfortable, immaculate and well-provided and Emma was so helpful, making sure we had all the information we needed. Wish we had been staying longer. A perfect haven from which to explore Edinburgh.

This basement apartment was ideal for 4/5 adults, within walking distance to Royal Mile and other attractions. Emma our host was most helpful, advising us where the free parking was to be found and answering queries promptly. Both bedrooms had en-suites, lovely furnishings, bedding and toiletries. Kitchen was a little dated but perfectly clean with all facilities. We spent very little time in the apartment as there was so much to see and do in this fabulous city. We would certainly stay here again.

We booked this apartment as we were a mixed generation party travelling to Edinburgh. With two very comfortable en-suite bedrooms and an extra loo for the person on the couch.
We moved the car to East Fettes Avenue where parking is £3/day. It was a nice walk back through stockbridge again to the flat. In fact we walked everywhere over our visit with Charlotte Square being just about 15 minutes away at an easy pace.
Flat, and the area, were very peaceful and very handy for many cafes & restaurants.
Owner is incredibly helpful and information was very timely and useful. An excellent price for size and location.

This is a beautifully renovated and decorated apartment. Our family of 5 loved our stay here. Emma had been very thoughtful and had provided fresh milk in the fridge and shortbread biscuits. It is an easy 20 minute walk into the old town so it is a great base for sightseeing Edinburgh. There were multiple restaurants and pubs within a 200m walk of the apartment and we ate here locally both nights. I would highly recommend this apartment to friends and family.

This is a wonderful apartment in Stockbridge, just beyond the crush of people in the main tourist areas of Edinburgh. It's an easy walk into New Town and beyond. The area is full of thrift stores, restaurants, and great places to pick up food for the apartment. The proprietor is extremely helpful and the apartment is full of thoughtful touches (e.g., coffee, shortbread cookies, detergent for the washing machine). It's also beautifully furnished and really comfortable and spacious. I hope I can return!

Emma answered questions quickly from booking to actual visit. Lovely decorated rooms, breakfast supplied, guide book well written. Used Dean Garden key for morning walk, ate at very nearby and reasonable restaurant, Hectors, shopped at grocery all just a quick walk. Fresh flowers on table nice touch. Be sure to read her copy of children’s book, This Is Edinburgh, as a great way to get the essence of a wonderful city. Even doing wash was fun and easy.

Wonderful 2 bedroom ensuite garden-style apartment in Stockbridge area of Edinburgh was perfect for my husband and I and the other couple we were traveling with. Well stocked, comfortable and beautifully decorated, large windows, with a lovely garden in the back, it is located on a quiet street in a neighborhood full of restaurants, cafes, shops, small grocery store and transportation to wherever you want to go in the city. We walked to Edinburgh castle our 1st day in 1/2 hour-much of it uphill and we are seniors-but easily caught the bus at the end of the street the next day to go back to the Royal Mike for a walking tour. We ate at 2 pubs in this area-Hectors and Bilies (spelling?) near the end of our street and they were great. And Emma our host was wonderful! Quickly responds to all messages and had suggestions ranging from best way to get in from airport to favorite things to see in Edinburgh. Milk in the fridge and some delicious shortbread were a nice treat! We also had a later flight on the day we left and she stored our luggage so we could stay and see more of the city before having to head to the airport. Thank you, Emma! You are the best!
