This charming property on the edge of Kirkbymoorside is situated in the old stable block,in the courtyard of a former working mill with paddocks and garden dating back from the mid 1750’s on the river Dove,which is a haven for peace and tranquility.
Kirkbymoorside is at the centre of an area that encompasses the North Yorkshire Moors National Park (including Heartbeat Country) to the north,the Yorkshire Coastline including Whitby,Robin Hood’s Bay and Scarborough to the east,Castle Howard and York to the south and Thirsk and Herriot Country to the west. The cottage is a 12 minute walk from Kirkbymoorside,an unspoilt market town with its Georgian and Victorian architecture and hosts an ancient market on Wednesdays. Hutton-le-Hole is 2 miles away,a picturesque moors village with free-ranging sheep. Attractions include taking a ride on a steam train and walking. Leisure facilities: fishing on-site.
The reverse-level accommodation offers ONE bedroom: on the ground floor,1 king-size. Shower room: with shower and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: with TV,DVD and Juliet balcony. Kitchen area with electric oven and hob,microwave and fridge , on the first floor. Outside: courtyard with seating,garden with paddocks with a wealth of wildlife and the river for fishing. Amenities: off-road parking. Bed linen,towels,electric,central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking. Regret no pets. Additional Info: regret no washing machine,but laundry service is provided for a nominal charge. The cottage is approx. 100 yards from the river at the back of the property and therefore does not accept children under the age 12. Owner offers breakfast in the main house at £8.00 per person (please book with the owner the previous evening). Location: beach 21 miles,shop and pub within 2 miles.

|Très agréable cottage. Accueil chaleureux par Karen et Chris, toujours très disponibles. Cottage très confortable et décoré avec goût. Les lieux sont très calmes et on peu aller à pied au village qui est charmant ettrès vivant (nombreux petits commerces, pubs, marché etc ...). Nous recommandons vivement.|
