Set in one of the most scenic parts of Anguilla, the Villa Coyaba (which is a native Arawak term for heaven) is a perfect choice for the discerning travelers. With six bedrooms and room for 12, this wonderful property has a tremendous array of amenities that make it an ideal Caribbean escape.
Private and estate-like, the villa has extensive grounds, with mature plantings that include a lovely garden path to the beachfront. The amenities outside of the villa include an outdoor shower, a lovely swimming pool and sun deck, a Jacuzzi, and a terrace that wraps the property. Upper level rooms feature covered terraces, as well, and the overall architectural style is classic West Indian.
The emphasis is on the outdoor pleasures, and because of this, visitors will find a large assortment of lounges and al fresco dining spots. There is also a barbecue for casual evenings gathered together beneath the stars. Inside, the elegance is only more enhanced by the high ceilings, the remarkable quality of the furnishings, and the well-chosen palette. A large music room features a grand piano, a comfortable living room offers up oversized furniture, a formal dining room gives excellent views of the patio beyond, and the gourmet kitchen is a joy to use - even when on holiday.
The six bedrooms are spread out over the two floors, but each of them features a large, private terrace area that gives views of the sea or gardens. They are all equipped with en suite bathrooms as well as a host of high-end electronics that include WiFi, entertainment systems and cable TV.
Families, groups of friends, or those in search of a perfect spot for an intimate gathering will all appreciate the excellence of the Villa Coyaba, its setting, and its lovely atmosphere.

Villa Coyaba was the perfect little heaven in Anguilla for all seven members of The Mighty Diamonds arriving in Anguilla for Moonsplash 2019. The layout of the villas six bedrooms was perfect for the musicians who not only needed to unwind at the pool or in the hot tub after a rehearsal or sound check, but also the serenity of a quiet retreat overlooking the ocean & the distant peaks of St Marten. The owner & staff were very attentive, and were well appreciated by the band who often find that life on the road has its ups and downs, but found the attention to the personal details a distinctively island friendly service.

Thanks to Bankie Banx and the Dune Preserve, the artists performing at the 3rd annual Rendezvous Folk & Blues Festival had the good fortune to stay at Coyaba. It is an amazing place, inside and out, with a steady gentle sea breeze coming right across the Atlantic. As a musician, I’m not a morning person, but I wake up refreshed and rejuvenated here. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
