Our host arranged transport from the airport to the house at no extra charge. House was a quaint 2-storey timber house with shutters and bars over windows. Air conditioning only in the bedrooms (2) which made congregating in the lounge room uncomfortable given the high humidity. Bathroom and shower were adequate but the kitchen was not used. Easy access to the main part of the town via a temporary bamboo footbridge (cost 5,000 kip return; <$1). Worst part was all the telephone numbers provided - taxis, tuktuks, hosts - did not work so could not contact anyone. Tried to get the local restaurant to ring for us but same problem.

Very well located within 2 mn walk to 4 or 5 very good and cheap restaurants. 1 mn away from the bamboo bridge which crosses the river (Nahm Kahn) to take you into the heart of Luang Prabang center. The house so beautiful is registered and protected by Unesco, wonderful feeling and amazing kitchen fully equiped. Just wouah !!! Two bicycles for free what a surprise. Last but not least, free transfer from and to the airport. Much appreciate. Big Thanks to the owner. I deeply recommend
