Clopton Road Self Catering

One of the many excellent features of this 3 bedroom accommodation is its location; easy to get to by car or rail, in walking distance of theatres, restaurants, heritage and shopping, and minutes away from glorious views over Stratford and the Cotswolds.
There is parking for 2 cars, storage for bicycles, and a secure let-off-steam garden for energetic children, complete with a wendy house. The local bus stops outside and hidden round the corner is a retail park with 24-hour supermarket, the surprisingly good Yard of Ale pub (see Trip Advisor), and a Chinese takeaway. In the other direction is a newsagent and the Little Market local shop (selling free-range eggs and fresh bread) and then a walk past the Stratford Upon Avon Canal to the town centre.
Theatres: Royal Shakespeare Company has the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Swan Theatre on Waterside, and The Other Place on Southern Lane. Bear Pit theatre is independent of the RSC at the United Reformed Church on Rother Street.
Warwick and regency Leamington Spa (both excellent for shopping), Coventry, Birmingham, Banbury and Oxford are perfect for day trips, or try Broadway Tower, Edge Hill, Kenilworth castle, the Cotswolds and the Vale of Evesham. National Trust properties nearby include Charlecote Park, Hidcote, Coughton Court, Baddesley Clinton, Packwood House, Upton House and Farnborough, or try landscape and fine art at Compton Verney, or history of motoring at Gaydon Heritage Motor Centre.

Me, my fiancé and little girl stayed here when we visited Stratford and we loved it! Great size rooms very well kept and comfortable sofa and beds. The manager Fiona was very friendly and welcoming, made our stay a wonderful one. The location was also great as it was just the right distance from all of the main attractions in Stratford without being too close. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!! Sam, Jade and Elena

A fantastic property. Spacious and attractive decoration throughout, lots of equipment if, like us, you want to cook for yourself. Ten minutes walk into the heart of Stratford, brilliant - left the car on the drive the whole stay. Lots of things to do and see, we visited Shakespeare's Birthplace, The New Place and the Butterfly park on the river. Great shops and pubs nearby. Garden of the property was beautiful with lots of grass for the kids to run about on and a summer house. Will definitely return again!!

This was the perfect property and location for our party of 6. Really close to town with a pleasant walk along the canal. Lots of garden space for the kids with the added bonus of a Summer House. Plenty of room inside for relaxing and winding down during the evening. Plus Fiona is an Awesome host and really made us feel at home

I stayed in the semi detached property on Clopton Road with my husband and baby. The driveway attracted us because my husband is particular about his car and it felt very safe. The house is modern and spacious with almost everything we needed (exceptions being a pizza cutter and hairdryer although we might have missed these when looking). The garden is large and self enclosed with both a lawn and a patio area. There's loads to do in Stratford upon Avon - we enjoyed visiting Shakespeare's houses and going the nearby nature reserve, which is only a few streets away. The owner Fiona is friendly and I fully recommend this property for a holiday, you won't be disappointed!

Very convenient to all things Stratford! Calming blue and white decor, very clean and all the basic necessities. Lovely yard too. Thanks for having us.

Everything was as you see it on housetrip and perfect for us. Fiona was very helpful and it was all very efficient. It is about a 15 min walk to the middle of town so conveniently located. Very good value.

We all had a great weekend. Fiona met us and gave us a brief run through of the house and how to get into the town. We were all delighted with the house which had all mod cons and a lovely sunny garden. It was a short walk into the town and we enjoyed all the attractions of Stratford as well as the lovely weather. It was a great stay.
