This place has fabulous apartments suitable for all people: young, old, families, couples etc. It would be especially suitable for aged or infirm people as everything is accessible by disabled people and the bathroom has all necessities being designed as a wet room and 16sqm in size. The bedrooms are equipped with electrically adjusting beds and the lounge has fully rising seating to assist you. The only tight space is the kitchen area which is more suitable for able bodied persons. Not sure how many people it is designed to accommodate but it could easily be suitable for a family of 5 or 6. There is off street parking and a lift to all floors. The apartment we stayed in was serviced every day and immaculately clean. If you want spacious easily accessible quiet yet close to town centre then this is the place for you.

I had booked three of the apartments at Ypres for our motorcycle trip that was across France and Belgium. Six of us, with 5 motorbikes wanted to stay in Ypres, but unknown to us at booking time, it was the weekend of the Royal British Legion Pilgrimage to the town, with 2000 plus people officially turning up just for the day! Hence a lack of hotel rooms. Having to turn up at a given hour was a worry (bike tours tend to be flexible) and I was ahead of the group, but was still going to be over 40 mins outside the check in window. A call to the contact number was dealt with very quickly and the housekeeper stayed on until I got there. We were shown a covered parking area for the bikes at the rear of the driveway that was perfect. When I got in the apartment, I was astonished. The lounge with attached kitchen was twice the size of the room we had the night before, even the en suite walk in shower was bigger! The twin beds were hospital adjustable style, with full raise and lower control; ideal for me as I could sleep with my legs up (because of water retention). The mattress was firm but very comfortable. There were all the things we needed in the rooms (including the kitchen basics all being covered), balconies and/or outside areas, a separate WC in the hall, two AC units and lifts. The ONLY down side is possibly the location, being on the other side of Ypres centre and the Menin Gate, but really the town is not that big! All of the property was accessible adapted, especially for those with wheel chairs. But being of limited mobility myself, the little touches were there, not just wide doors, but also handles and plugs in places you can reach. All in all, for twin rooms, these were easily the best we stayed in during our week away. Clean, very spacious and full of useful things like a full sized fridge with wine rack and a dishwasher!
