Merci EnJoy Villa.

Villa Miki Miki was a huge home for us (party of 7) but with the four bedrooms with en suite, it gave private bedroom and bath to all three couples and for the individual with us. Only one bedroom faces the ocean and has sliding glass wall onto the main deck. Two of the others have decks and huge sliding glass panels to enjoy the garden and mountain view. One bedroom only has windows, no sliding door to a deck. We did not use the upstairs loft, which had two more beds. All four rooms have their own AC system which we used only at night and were very comfortable. The large living room area and kitchen area both feature sliding glass panels that open the wall fully to the deck that is ocean-side. Great breeze coming off the ocean and we had very little bug sightings....just a couple mosquito bites, but we NEVER used a bug spray. Plenty of chairs, tables, etc to sit and eat or visit on the deck. We had a couple of cats that wanted to make themselves at home in the house, which we discouraged (enough said). The beach at that location is a bit strong with current. We love snorkeling but found it too difficult to be in the water at the villa. We walked down the beach to the left in front of the golf course and found a couple places a little more snorkel-able, but I'd suggest going to Temae public beach to snorkel and swim. You drive by it everytime you go in and out of the villa. it is about a mile away (we rented a van the whole time because we love being on the go all the time) but that beach area is beautiful. If you snorkel at Temae Beach, you must swim out to where you see "black" formations in the water. That is the coral. If the water is just blue (beautiful blue!) that is sand and you want see much as far as sea-life goes. At the end of the beach closest to the restrooms, you have to swim way out to get to the best snorkeling...not a hard swim, but long. BUT if you walk to the right all the way down right next to the fence line for the Sofitel hotel the coral is MUCH closer and the things to see are limitless...IT WAS GREAT! Back to the Villa...we would highly recommend a stay here, especially for a group with multiple couples. It is NOT like staying in a resort...you don't have room service, you don't have daily housekeeping, but if you are the independent type like we are, it is a great value when you share the overall cost. Furniture is a bit worn, but sufficient. Bedrooms are large, but simple in furnishing. Hot water was great even with four showers going at once following a snorkeling trip. We would all do it all again! Clements (our contact for the villa) is great. He was very quick to respond to every email I sent him before and during our stay. He met us at the ferry, even though we had our own ride to guide us to the home and show us around the facility...ask him about places to eat and tours to take...he is very knowledgeable on the island. Overall a good stay...one that ended all too soon and we were there for 8 nights.

We are a family of 9 and stayed here for 2 weeks. The Villa for us worked perfectly with having so many separate areas everyone had their own space. The beds were comfortable and the house very clean on our arrival. As we were staying for two weeks, the cleaners came in after week one and did a complete clean throughout and a linen change, what a treat. The location of the Villa is amazing, you have the beach right on your doorstep. Before we came we were unsure as to how the swimming would be right in front of the house, our family is very water confident so it worked extremely well for us. Having the Kayak was an added bonus. Clement the property manager was amazing, he picked us up from the Ferry Terminal and dropped us back the day we were leaving. Nothing was to much trouble for him and any questions we had for him were dealt with promptly and efficiently. He was very good and easy to deal with. We did hire a car for the length of our stay and were glad that we did as it gave us the freedom to get around easily and get groceries as needed. We found the Supermarkets well stocked and used the road side stalls for buying fresh fruit and vegetables. One night we ate out at the Restaurant Honu Iti and had a fantastic evening there, if needed they pick you up and drop you back. The Children especially enjoyed the sharks that were being fed there. Another night we ate at the Golf Club but think it would be a better place to go to for lunch. Moorea Beach Club is a great place for either lunch or dinner, fabulous setting and great food. Watching the Sunset at one of the local beaches was a highlight for all of us as well as getting up and watching the Sunrise. We loved our time on Moorea and especially Villa Miki Miki and would definitely recommend staying here.
