We stayed here with two other couples. Plenty of room in the villas for all of us, every bedroom has there own on suite, nice courtyard out the back with our own private pool, great for bbqs and entertaining. House keeping everyday kept the villas nice and clean, staff are all very friendly and nothing was a problem. Got picked up and dropped off at the airport by the owner. Great place if you into self catering, but plenty of restaurants nearby if you want to eat out, cheap local buses to get into town going past all the time. Great swimming out the front of the villas as well.

The units are very spacious with spectacular views. Has all the amenities and close to everything. Lester and Vanessa go out of their way to makes sure that your holiday is memorable, fun and very relaxing. Picking you up, driving you around, organising tours even organising the cleaning, washing up the dishes and doing the laundry. Nothing to hard for them. Highly recommend checking this place out.

I was so disappointed to receive an email a couple of weeks out from our arrival to say there was no vacancy for the time we had booked. This booking was confirmed back in September. My husband is a keen surfer so we thought we had really struck gold being off pango beach but now we know that this is not the case. This place is very unreliable and we had to find another place for our family with very limited places being available at such short notice. Be careful when booking.

We've just had 10 nights with our 3 teenagers. The villa was perfect with 3 bedrooms, all en-suite. We chose to stay here as we prefer having our own place over a resort, and wanted 3 bedrooms. At Waves we had the best of both worlds with Breaka's next door where we dined a few times (over 15's only). Each villa has its own pool, which was perfect for the afternoon when the wind gets up on the beach side. The villa was well appointed with everything you need. We didn't use the oven or BBQ but was good to have if needed. Getting to and from town is so easy, generally within 30 seconds of standing outside a minivan taxi stops. There is a little shop opposite the resort next door where we bought milk, bread, ice-creams, beer etc. Or a minivan taxi dropped us at a large supermarket within 10 minutes. We swam and snorkelled in front of the villa, it is a surf beach so can be a bit rough. There is also a lot of coral so would recommend reef shoes or flippers. Don't go expecting white sand and lagoon-like waters (wouldn't recommend the sea for young kids) but we loved it. The staff were so friendly and helpful, organising tours and taxis for us. The villa was cleaned everyday and was spotless! Would definitely recommend and we hope to go back!

If you want to have your own little private paradise, then these villas are it! They are perfectly located with absolute water frontage, far enough from town for peace and quiet, however just a short bus trip away. It is located right next to Pango village, where everyone was very friendly. They are set up perfectly with 3 bedrooms, 2 downstairs with ac and 1 upstairs, each with their own private bathroom. All rooms have ceiling fans and timber louvre windows to let the sea breeze flow through. If you get tired from snorkelling right out the front, where we even had regular visits from a family of dugongs, you can laze away in your own private swimming pool. Everything has been thought of here including the clever layout and design of the villas, relax while reading on the top deck listening to the waves roll in, cook a BBQ for tea, stroll 2 minutes down the beach to adults only Breakas resort for sit down meal, take away coffee, milkshake, toastie, pizza etc (we did go there for tea one night with our 11 & 14 yo, just sat down by beach away from main restaurant which was better anyway!!) They will even deliver a meal to you! For supplies, the supermarket(bon marche numbatu) is a 5-10 min bus trip away and cafe villa is less than 5 min bus trip away where we ate tea a couple of times. Katia and Vanessa are the local Ni-van managers and are beautiful people who cannot do enough for you, we had a small problem with one ac and it was addressed immediately. The cleaning ladies come in daily and have the villa spotless for when you return from your daily adventures. They even did our washing one day! There are a couple of reef breaks out the front however was onshore the entire time we were there, must be offshore opposite time of year? Not that we ever felt like we needed it, there is security at night looking after the villas and its occupants!! We cannot recommend this place enough and are saving to return very soon we hope!!

during my stay, I assumed that I would be okay to leave my wallet hidden in m bed and it seems that one of the cleaning staff took 70 AUD out of my wallet this is unacceptable and am very annoyed

A stunning ocean front villa with its own pool. Loved sitting on the verandah looking out over the beautiful view of the sea. Great location and close to Port Vila. I had a great stay and the staff were always helpful and friendly. I found it to be a magical place to go for a taste of James A. Mitchener’s South Pacific

Beautiful villa to stay in. We went as a couple but there is plenty of space in the villas for families. Do your own thing in the kitchen. Staff were extremely friendly. Only thing it does not have is a tv which we loved as it seemed unnecessary in this stunning place with beautiful views. Only 10 mins to town.

Surfside is a beautiful spot right on the foreshore. The villas look out over a huge, windy surf beach with Pango village right next door and the lovely Nasama Cafe just down the road (with high chairs!). The wind can be loud but it also keeps most of bugs away - we were able to have dinner by the pool which is insulated from the wind without being attacked by flies and mosquitoes which is pretty rare! The villas are gorgeous and well maintained with a little salt corrosion that you'd expect on a beach facing property. Our Villa was truly self-contained with all the amenities we needed - including a washing machine with powder supplied which was a huge relief when my 2 year old picked up a stomach bug during our trip. The portacot had a secure mosquito net that my toddler couldn't remove, which was a relief! There's also a secure parking area for your hire car. Katia was lovely to deal with through email and in person. The cleaning staff are also very sweet - always just waiting for us to pop out (sometimes late in the afternoon) to come in and tidy up. Definitely the place to go if you're after a quiet getaway or a truly self-contained Villa to return to after a day of road tripping. Thanks for having us!
