Hey, I am a frequent traveler and most of my trips, I stay with local families which made my trip really special! It is the reason that I want to rent my spare room for guests who want to discover Geneva and have some local guide :) I live in this modern 2-bedroom flat, the room is for 2 max occupations (1 double bed + 1 mattress, or the living room). 5 minutes' walk to the tram station, 10 minutes by car from GVA airport, 20 minutes from Geneva train station, I can pick up guests at the train station or airport if the time is suitable (not during the peak-hours), and show guests around with some advice on local stuff.
