    White Wedding

Those who are particular about their design will fall head over heels for this penthouse apartment. For a start, the exterior is rather unique, as it's a new wooden development adapted respectfully on top of an industrial building dating back to 1905. The interior is a shining beacon of clean minimalism, in which every item has been selected carefully for maximum impact. The artwork on the walls, for example, is curated by different galleries and artists, and, as such, changes quite regularly. The kitchen, too, has been hidden away in a cabinet, so there's nothing but sleek white walls when it's not in use, and the linens are made from pure organic cotton. Sustainability is at the core of every piece of furniture and fixture within this home, with each piece carefully selected to have minimal environmental impact. Out through the glass doors — which are nothing but generous when it comes to natural light — you'll find the roof terrace, ...More Details

    Double Shot

Housed in a grand Beaux-Arts building typical of the bustling Tiergarten district, this pristine serviced apartment offers hotel-like comforts with the privacy of your own home. Downstairs, there's a helpful concierge should you need anything – from booking a table at one of the city's most happening restaurants to organising for a continental breakfast to be delivered to your apartment each day. Upstairs, you'll love the bright, lofty feel of the home, thanks to the high ceilings and dual aspect windows, and the quiet courtyard-facing bedrooms to help bank a peaceful night's sleep. Over in the main living space, the massive dining table is the perfect spot to come together for lazy breakfasts as you hatch plans for the day ahead. And the daily housekeeping will keep things spick and span while you're out and about – which we suspect you'll be doing rather a lot of here. There's a myriad of great bistros, street food, and bakeries in th...More Details

Overlooking the Baltic Sea in Wendtorf, this smart flat is a haven for lovers of the great outdoors. However you choose to spend your days, this home will be ready and waiting to welcome you back from your adventures. Budding chefs can head to the kitchen and whip up some tasty dishes to enjoy at the dining table, with views across the marina. Afterwards, you can sip a glass of wine outside on the balcony as you watch the sun dip below the horizon and plan your itinerary for the following day. Or, on chillier evenings, light up the stove and get comfy on the sofa with a good book. With Wendtorf Marina, one of the most famous harbours in Germany, so close by, there's no better time to do some sailing. The Trapeze

We can’t help but love the colour palette in this home – the bedroom is filled with blue hues, while the communal areas are dominated by pastel greens and reds. The Trapeze is many things at once, playful and serious, modern and charismatic. However, what we liked most about this home was the level of service – there’s a concierge available for any questions during the daytime, and they can arrange tours of Berlin too. * There’s currently no home manual, but there’s a concierge available for questions during the daytime* When we visited, the wifi wasn’t as fast as we would have liked it to be* There’s some wear and tear in this home – expect a few minor stains and scuff marks* There’s no washing machine or dryer in the apartment, you'll have to do your laundry elsewhere* Tall people beware – the shower is only 180 cm high*Your host owns multiple apartments within this building, so the exact view, furnishings and layout might differ fro...More Details

    Making Waves

Making Waves is one of a kind. Situated just behind Berlin’s cluster of galleries, it’s also within walking distance to the architectural masterpiece that is Gleisdreieck Park. On top of being fully equipped (the kitchen is a particular favourite of ours), we also love how stylish it is. Much of the furniture is custom made for the space, and it has a tranquil atmosphere that we can’t get over. As a bonus, it has Sonos speakers in every single room – this includes the bathroom for all the people who enjoy a good sing along session in the shower. *The bed in bedroom three can be used as both a single or a small double*Get ready for a free work-out – it’s on the second floor with no lift*When we visited, the wifi wasn’t super fast*Special mention to TV lovers – there's no television in this home BalconyBlack-Out BlindsBlenderBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingChild FriendlyChildren's DinnerwareCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsCot / C...More Details

    Sunday Stroll

Sunday Stroll has been designed with care. It’s a little small, but it’s practical and comes with lots of delightful details like golden kitchen equipment and a blue velvet sofa. Due to the sleeping arrangements, and the curtain separating the living room and bedroom, this home is best suited for a couple or solo-traveller looking to explore Berlin. The immediate area isn’t the most lively, but you’re right next to the Deutsche Oper, and you’re also well-connected to the rest of the city. *Even though this home sleeps three, it would be a bit of a squeeze*The wifi is a bit slow*The kitchen is a tad small – not great for cooking up a storm*The bedroom and living room are only separated by a curtain, which might not be to everyone’s taste*Heavy packers beware – there’s not a lot of space for unpacking*Guest 3 would be on a sofa bed in the living room*Charlottenburg is a beautiful area, but it’s not the most lively part of Berlin Bathrob...More Details

    Rock The Boat

Always dreamt of living on a boat? Well, now’s your chance. Found on the Spree, Rock The Boat offers an experience out of the ordinary (it can even be rented with a crew for an additional touch of luxury). The interiors are masterfully designed by Davide Rizzo, and the attention to detail shows – we loved the cosy fireplace, airy bedrooms, and the collection of antiques decorating every corner. It’s simple really, we can’t say no to a place like this – especially when it involves such stunning and calming views of the water. *This is a houseboat – we recommend guests prone to seasickness to look somewhere else*We couldn’t find a home manual when we visited*Location-wise, it’s not the best – Mitte is about a thirty to forty minute journey by way of public transport BarbequeBathtubCentral HeatingCooking EssentialsDryerFire ExtinguisherFireplaceFirst Aid KitFree Parking On PremisesFridgeHair DryerHangersIronKitchenKitchen UtensilsLaptop ...More Details

    Show and Tell

Show and Tell is one of those homes that’s brimming with charisma. From the high ceilings to the vintage mid-century furniture and Moroccan style tiles, small treasures are hiding around every corner waiting to be found. A family home to the bone, it also houses a piano (great for playing cheery tunes) and a stylish children’s bedroom with bunk beds. Moments away from Volkspark Friedrichshain, you’re in an attractive part of Berlin that’s full of soul. *The layout is a little awkward – bedroom three can only be accessed via bedroom two*Bedroom two is clearly set up for children with bunk beds and lots of toys*The wifi is a little slow*There's a dog who usually lives here – it won't be around during your stay, but allergies might be a problem*If you’re staying for a longer period of time, the host asks that you help to water the plants*The walls could do with a lick of paint to cover up scuff marks*This is a lived-in home, expect to sha...More Details

    On The Marina

Breaks by the water don’t get much closer than this lovely holiday home on Wendtorf Marina. The apartment is just 20 metres from the water, so you can fall asleep each night to the sound of the water lapping the jetties just outside your window. Wendtorf is one of the best-known sailing harbours in the region, so if you want to get out on the water, you couldn’t ask for a better spot. Even if you’re not keen to get out on a boat, there’s plenty to keep you entertained. The picturesque Bottsand Nature Reserve surrounds the harbour, and the Düne in Stein beach is just fifteen minutes away on foot. After enjoying a family breakfast together with a view over the harbour, you can set off to spend happy days swimming at the child-friendly beach, skimming stones, or exploring the nature reserve. After busy days out of doors, returning to this bright little home is always a delight. Settle in by the wood-burning stove if the evenings turn chill...More Details

    The Haruka

We love the use of space in The Haruka. It isn’t big (it’s a studio), but with its zen-like atmosphere and Japanese-inspired furniture, it appears both bright and welcoming. The kitchen is more of a kitchenette (with no oven), but as it’s located right by Nollendorfplatz, you’re within walking distance to plenty of vibrant and lively spots to grab lunch or dinner. As part of a hotel, you can also expect a fair share of amenities (some of which are at an extra cost though). *The shower isn’t the most private we’ve seen – the only thing separating the shower from the rest of the space is a partitioning wall*It’s part of a hotel – access is through a lobby*The kitchen isn’t well-equipped – it’s actually more of a kitchenette as there’s no oven*It’s a studio, so everything is in the same room*The host will require your credit card upon check-in for pre-authorising a deposit Air ConditioningBicyclesBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral Heating...More Details

    The Florian

As it’s a former shop, The Florian boasts some interesting features like the old shopfront window in the living room/bedroom. It’s located on a beautiful street in Charlottenburg, but sadly this street can also get a little noisy at times. If you feel like venturing out and about, you're really close to Charlottenburg Palace and its beautiful gardens. There's a lot of museums around there too, which are all worth a visit. *Sadly, it doesn’t get a lot of natural light because it’s a ground floor home*You enter via the living room/bedroom, which is directly on the street*As the living room/bedroom faces a busy street – it can get a little noisy at night*The décor is slightly backing in character – we wouldn’t mind some more personal art pieces*There’s currently no home manual*The bathroom is very small BathrobesBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingDishwasherDryerHair DryerIronKitchenMicrowaveMultiple Sets of KeysTVWashing MachineWi-...More Details

Once you’ve braved the stairs to reach Airwaves (all five floors), you’re justly rewarded. The flat is small, but it’s been put together wonderfully, with every inch of space used, and used well. The furniture skews vintage, and combined with the pared-back aesthetic, the whole flat feels like a haven, away from the hectic streets below. And those streets can get busy. Friedrichshain has one of the best art and music scenes in Europe, and Airwaves is as good a place as any from which to explore. *The flat's on the top floor and there's not lift – get ready for a lot of stairs*A cat usually lives here, and while it'll be away during your stay, people with allergies might want to take note*The kitchen's very cute, but it doesn't have an oven*There's no TV in the flat – you'll have to entertain yourself*There are a lot of bars in the area, and it can get lively BalconyBathrobesBathtubBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingCleaning Prod...More Details

    The Contortionist

The Contortionist is very special. Brimming with natural light, each room is designed with meticulous attention to detail – we love the different wallpapers and mix of pastel hues. The rooftop is its superpower, the striking views of Berlin with the TV Tower in the distance are mesmerising. The beds aren’t as luxurious as we would like them to be, but luckily all the bedrooms are captivating and filled with lots of small, curated details. * We know we are picky, but the bedding isn’t as luxurious as we would have liked it to be* This home has a little bit of wear and tear – expect some scuff marks on the walls* There’s currently no home manual, but there’s a concierge available for questions during the daytime*When we visited, the wifi was a bit slow – the host is currently working on fixing this*Your host owns multiple apartments within this building, so the exact view, furnishings and layout might differ from the photos BarbequeBath...More Details

    The Fire Dancer

We love The Fire Dancer for its size and all the colourful accents. Located on a quiet street, you’re not too far from all of Berlin’s hustle and bustle – trendy Rosenthaler Platz is just a short five-minute walk away. While there are a lot of positive things to note about this home, our favourite part is the calm bedroom – autumnal prints, the trendy cane woven headboard, and decorative statement walls go hand in hand. *Apart from the TV, there are not a lot of entertainment options in this home*During our visit, we found the wifi to be a bit slow*We noticed a little bit of wear and tear in places*The kitchen is on the small side – there’s a mini-fridge instead of a tall one*There’s currently no home manual, but there’s a concierge available for questions during daytime*Your host owns multiple apartments within this building, so the exact view, furnishings and layout might differ from the photos BalconyBathrobesBathtubBicyclesBuzzer ...More Details

    Vinyl Union

While it’s not the most luxurious home in our collection, Vinyl Union is located in popular Prenzlauer Berg and within easy access to the many trendy cafés, restaurants and parks. We love the bright living room that’s the natural heart of the home and custom-made for socialising, although both the bedroom and the bathroom fall short of it. You’ll also find a record player and huge, varied vinyl collection that’s great for a night-in. * There’s currently no home manual, so you’ll have to ask for help on how to work the appliances * This home is located on the second floor with no elevator - be prepared for some up and down* When we visited, the wifi wasn’t as fast as we would like it to be* We also noticed some scuff marks on the walls* It is a lived-in home - expect to share the space with some of the host’s belongings* The bathroom is a bit tired-looking and could do with an update* The bed is on the smaller side BalconyBathtubBuzzer...More Details

    Loft Me Up

Located in a former jelly factory turned art gallery turned apartment, this loft is very special indeed. Your host, Arthur, is an architect and he has poured his heart and soul into this place. Easy Like A Sunday Morning

Set in a building that used to be a space observatory, Easy Like A Sunday Morning is one for the architecture aficionados. It’s minimalist in the coolest way possible, with high ceilings, the raw and honest surfaces, as well as the concrete columns. And it’s managed by the same architecture firm that designed the building and living units, so expect lots of attention to detail. Sadly, the kitchen isn’t the biggest, but we like to think of that as an opportunity to explore the nearby area, which is full of both restaurants and museums. *When we visited, there was a lot of construction going on nearby – this should only be a temporary situation, but please be aware that there may be construction noise*Be prepared to roll up your sleeves, there is no dishwasher here*There is no washer/dryer in this unit, but guests can use the building’s communal laundry facility at an extra cost*This apartment only has a kitchenette and no oven, so don’t...More Details

    The Livin' Is Easy

Minimalist vibes ooze from this chic Berlin apartment. The exposed concrete walls, high ceilings, custom-made furniture, and industrial-sized windows create a modern loft-like vibe. Unfortunately, the balcony is shared with the neighbouring apartment and the kitchenette offers minimal support for cooking, so it's not the kind of place where you cook up a storm. The lack of artwork on the walls might make it feel a little too minimalist to some, but if you're interested in architecture, we're sure you'll appreciate all the innovative and original features as much as we do. *When we visited, there was a lot of construction going on nearby. This should only be a temporary situation, but please be aware that there may be construction noise*This apartment only has a kitchenette and no oven, only a small microwave, so don’t expect to flex your culinary muscles here*Be prepared to roll up your sleeves, there is no dishwasher here*This is a re...More Details

    Dance on Air

Brimming with books, artsy trinkets and Rothko-esque paintings, this Mitte flat is the kind of home that starts conversations. Once owned by an artist, there's a unique layout and a creative flair here that we loved when we visited. It's a blend of different styles, yet it works – vintage antiques mix with minimalist furniture, wooden countertops sit on stainless steel cabinets and, in the heart of it all, are the huge windows showing off the mammoth trees of Arkonaplatz Square across the street. On sunny days, enjoy your morning cup of coffee and breakfast roll on the balcony, watching as Berlin comes to life. Location-wise, you won't have to travel far to experience the authentic flea markets, buzzing restaurant scene and trendy galleries in this lively part of Mitte. Instead of walking to the main attractions, make like the locals and rent a bike from the cycle hire stations in the Kulturbrauerei or hop on the tram and be in the city...More Details
