Any discussion of Savannah has to start with the roof terrace, a little rectangle of serenity nestled in the rooftops of Trastevere. There is furniture up there and even a canopy, so you can relax while hiding from the midday sun. The interior is simple but charming, with a working fireplace in the living room - perfect for those cosy winter nights. The bathroom is a little basic - especially if it’s being shared by four - and it’s worth noting that there is no lift in the building, but otherwise Savannah is a lovely base in Rome's most bohemian neighbourhood. *Get ready for some climbing - there's no lift and the apartment's on the second floor *The stairs to the terrace is quite narrow with a low ceiling *If the apartment receives all four guests, they'll have to share one bathroom Air Conditioning Balcony Black-Out Blinds Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Carbon Monoxide Detector Central Heating Child Friendly Cleaning Products Coffee ...More Details
An air of quality greets you as you enter Curiosità. It’s well-designed and immaculately kept - you can really tell that the host is proud of this place - from the calming living room to the uncluttered kitchen. The mountains of cushions and the jacuzzi give the apartment a touch of the high-life, and the guest a chance to sit back and luxuriate after a long day. The only thing missing is a balcony, or some other sort of outside space, but making use of that would require tearing yourself away from the massive beds in the first place. *The kitchen is beautiful but it doesn't have an oven *Both bathrooms are ensuite so you'll have to go through a bedroom to reach them *The apartment lacks any outside space *Guests 5 and 6 will be on a sofa bed in the living room and while it could accommodate two children, we think that two adults would be a squeeze *The artwork in the main bedroom is explicit Air Conditioning Bathtub Black-Out Blin...More Details

While you’d initially not expect anything out of the ordinary, once you step off the street you can see why Elmer is so special. Beyond the pretty internal courtyard, there are small, multi-coloured accents all over the place, from the figure of a bull on the shelf to the kitchen tiles and the beautiful bathroom sink. It is on the small side, but two would be perfectly comfortable (it can hold four, but you’d have to be ready to share your personal space). *There isn't a lot of privacy in the flat - there are no doors between the bedroom, hallway and bathroom *There's no espresso machine because the host thinks that making a coffee in a moka is an integral part of the Italian experience *Guests 3 and 4 would be on a sofa bed in the living room *The TV doesn't have English channels Air Conditioning Amazon Prime Balcony Black-Out Blinds Breakfast Included Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Carbon Monoxide Detector Central Heating Child Frien...More Details

Simply put, Paparazzi is stylish, well-kept and right in the middle of Rome. Domenico is incredibly attentive as a host, and always ready to help, and while there are a few issues that we found, the majority were unavoidable given the age and positioning of the building (fairly slow wi-fi, for example), and the positives far outweigh the negatives. The apartment has been redone recently and you can really tell, particularly in the bathrooms, which feel very modern and sleek. *The apartment's in a narrow alleyway, so it doesn't get much natural light *Not every bed has a bedside table *When we visited there were a few of signs of carelessness – a couple of bulbs had gone and the sugar was in an open packet *There's no lift in the building, so be ready to haul your bags up the stairs *Not all windows close fully – expect to hear some street noise from below *We think the kitchen could be stocked with more crockery and utensils Air Co...More Details
