Burnt Umber
Located on the cusp of the Eixample neighbourhood, this apartment puts you in an excellent position to explore the city in style. It's right on the Ronda de la Universitat, a major thoroughfare in the city, but this sanctuary is pretty peaceful – thanks to it being on the inner side of the building, you get to enjoy the central location without the noise. We liked the splashes of mauve in the living room, as well as the use of natural materials. The kitchen is kitted out with basic seasonings and cooking ingredients, and there's a juicer and Nespresso machine to make mornings a delight. And the true standout feature of this home is the bedroom, with its impressive modern twist on a classic four-poster bed and painted brick wall. Step outside, and it's just a four-minute walk to the Plaça de Catalunya, and you can arrive at the labyrinthine Gothic Quarter in less than fifteen minutes. *Up to three guests are allowed, with the third gue...More Details

Located on Barcelona's busiest shopping street brimming with stunning Modernist architecture, Gracia is central, stylish, and wonderfully homey. It's truly remarkable to be able to see two of Gaudi's masterpieces, Casa Battló and La Pedrera, from the balconies. And we absolutely fell in love with the classic interior design, the elegant arched doorways, the original cornices, and the lovely large kitchen. The wifi is exceptionally speedy, a cleaner comes to freshen up the place daily, and a concierge is on hand during the day in case you need help with anything. *Compared to the other rooms in the home, the bathrooms are all fairly dated *Some of the switches have traditional old bells used to call service – some guests will find the noise tedious after a while *As it has lower ceilings and only a small window facing an interior patio, the kitchen suffers from a lack of natural light *The small green twin bedroom is a bit sad desi...More Details

This perfectly presented home is located in a quiet pocket of the Eixample neighbourhood, meaning you get to escape the hustle and bustle without having to go too far out. You’re just a five-minute walk to the nearest metro and a mere twenty-minute saunter to Plaça Catalunya, the beating heart of the city. It’s a great spot to grab a coffee and people watch, before heading into the charming, winding streets of the old town and Gothic Quarter, scattered with century-old shops, small bars, and cafes. And when it’s finally time to retreat to your apartment, you’ll find a tastefully decorated space with a coherent colour palette. We particularly like the whimsical wallpaper in the living and desk area, which instils a sense of calm about the space. Being part of a serviced apartment building, you’ll enjoy all the benefits of having a concierge team to hand and little extra touches like a generous welcome hamper and personal greeting on your...More Details
Sitting pretty in a beautiful old Haute building, this Eixample apartment is fresh, warm and welcoming, with a stylish blend of original features and minimalist modern furniture. We particularly loved the ornate ceiling mouldings in the living space. When you arrive, throw open the curtains and step out onto your Juliet balcony, feeling the warmth of Barcelona’s glorious sunshine as the breeze ripples through the quiet leafy streets below. It’s hard to believe this home is a ten-minute walk from the buzzing Plaza Catalunya, often regarded as Barcelona’s most central point. From here, you’ll find the Passeig de Gracia, with its emblematic Modernist buildings, high-end boutiques and upscale eateries. Better yet, the trendy El Born neighbourhood, famous for its artsy crowd and boho feel is only a fifteen-minute walk away. *This home is ideal for those with limited mobility. *Your host can help with wheelchairs and heavy luggage—just let ...More Details
