If ever there was a home to spend the winter in, this would be it. With a peaked wooden ceiling, wood-burning stove and plush couch, cosying up to watch the snowfall through floor-to-ceiling windows has never seemed like a more appealing way to holiday. With a real minimal, but warm, interior, we can see ourselves curled up with a good book or building puzzles at the dining table as chicken broth soup bubbles away on the stove. Yet, considering this home’s proximity to the coastline, summer might be a better time to dip your toes into the lapping waves. Woodland areas in Sorø and Denmark’s fourth largest lake in the Tissø region will make for a great trip out, come rain or shine. The lake is actually a favourite among bird watchers as many water birds come here to rest. *Due to the location of this home, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay*Parties are not allowed at this home*You'll have your own private entrance...More Details

Fifty minutes by car from the vibrant city of Aarhus, Boeslum is a tiny settlement on Jutland’s east coast, among wild and organic seaside landscapes. It’s a paradise for hikers, keen fishers, and most importantly – people looking for a true sense of unspoiled serenity. A seven-minute walk from breezy Boeslum Beach, this cabin offers exactly that.Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by a postcard-perfect scene of Danish, woodland tranquility. This wooden home is painted in a pale blue that’s reminiscent of the rolling waves nearby, as well as the skies on a misty, forest morning. We love the vast garden (around a quarter of an acre) where you can laze on the grass with smørrebrød and a chilled beer. When the sun moves around, you can move with it. You’ve got a choice of two more outdoor terraces, where you’ll also find a barbecue for a wholesome dinner of freshly grilled fish. And after hours, stepping into your cosy abode feels like coming h...More Details

There’s just something special about Everland. The perfect family home, it feels a little like an oasis in the heart of Frederiksberg, which is also one of Copenhagen’s more quiet neighbourhoods. Erland and Eve are wonderful hosts, and it’s clear to see that their home is filled with love. Every detail tells a story and invites you to spend some quality time with your loved ones. We love the semi-private garden (it’s shared between all residents), it’s the perfect place to unwind with a barbecue and some great conversations. *The garden is shared between all residents of the building*When we visited, the wifi was a bit slow*Frederiksberg is a lovely part of Copenhagen and it’s well-connected, but it’s also a little quiet*The second bedroom is designed for children with a single junior-size bed and plenty of toys Baby BathBaby MonitorBalcony / PatioBarbequeBeach EssentialsBicyclesBlack-Out BlindsBlenderBoard GamesBuzzer / Wireless Inte...More Details
