Tramlines is in a fantastic position – central but removed from the tourists around the Duomo, and perfect for people who want to experience the Milan that its inhabitants know. It’s decked out in a neutral colour scheme, and while there’s no getting around the fact that it’s small, the general level of quality is such that it’s still very comfortable. And we haven’t even spoken about the bathroom yet, which is disproportionately large and even has a jacuzzi in it. *There's no lift so you'll have to climb the stairs to the second floor*The flat is small and there isn't a real living room*Corso Magenta is quite busy, and noise reaches the bedroom if the windows are open*There are no bedside tables*The kitchen doesn't have a dishwasher*There's a maximum stay of ten days Air ConditioningBathtubBreakfast IncludedBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCarbon Monoxide DetectorCentral HeatingChild FriendlyCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsCot / CribFire Exti...More Details

Sit out on the balcony of this home and enjoy the view over the Umbrian Valley. The lush, green countryside is echoed in the home’s 3.5-hectare garden, where you’ll find an olive grove with 700 trees, alongside manicured lawns and terracotta terraces nearer the home. Breathe in the scent of oleander flowers and fig, plum and fruit trees as you make your way to the pergola framed by trailing plants – the perfect spot for an alfresco lunch cooked on the traditional wood oven. You’re likely to spend much of your time laying back on the sunbeds or swimming in the pool, but in the evenings, the glass gazebo is the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of local wine. Inside, as well as the main kitchen and grand living space, you’ll find a separate kitchen, sitting room and two bedrooms on the lower floor, making this a great space for two families or groups of friends. The historic town of Foligno is just 5km away, with Perugia a 40-minute drive and ...More Details

A sixteenth-century villa in the hilly outskirts of Florence that, at times, has been both a stables and a nightclub, Thermae is one of the most spectacular places we’ve seen in Italy. Its restoration has been a labour of love for the host, Giovanni, and the way that he’s incorporated technology into the original structure is simply impressive. There’s too much to describe here, but know that everything's been taken care of. And if we did have to choose one thing that stood out, it might have to be the pool, hidden away in the vaults, and only accessible through a trapdoor. tbc Air ConditioningAmazon PrimeBalconyBalcony / PatioBathrobesBicyclesBlack-Out BlindsBlenderBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCarbon Monoxide DetectorCentral HeatingCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsDishwasherDryerElectricity AdaptorsEspresso MachineExtra Pillows and BlanketsFanFire ExtinguisherFirst Aid KitFree Parking On PremisesFree Parking On StreetFreezerFridgeHair Drye...More Details

This apartment on the eastern edge of Sicily between Riposto and Acireale is a real feast for the eyes. Not only is the building in which it sits painted a vivid shade of pink that's instantly mood-lifting, but it also faces a gorgeous view of the Ionian Sea in one direction and Mount Etna the other way.You can admire this panorama from the two terraces surrounded by verdant Mediterranean vegetation and palm trees, or out through the wooden windows. Although the interior can't hope to compete with these surroundings, the mix of rustic features and colourful flourishes are pleasing to be among. The patterned tiling in the kitchen and bathrooms is pretty, while the wooden furnishings and terracotta tilings add a real sense of homeliness. As you can see from gazing out over the terrace, there's a pebbly beach that's easily reached from the home, but the nearest sandy spot is in Riposto six minutes' drive up the coastline. The port city of C...More Details
