You can’t visit Rome without visiting the Vatican City – luckily this stylish abode is just a five-minute stroll to St. Peter's Square. It’s also only a ten-minute walk to the Vatican Museums, as well as Castel Sant'Angelo with its large roof terrace offering breathtaking views across the city. Right on this apartment’s street, there’s a range of restaurants, gelaterias and cafés to choose from – we think this is a wonderful location. After all that sightseeing, you’ll need somewhere super comfortable to return to. If you don’t fancy eating out for dinner, cook some pasta and enjoy at the dining table, next to the window with views across the neighbourhood. The bedrooms, with little touches like the distressed metal lights, and warm parquet floors, make for a charming retreat. So, when in Rome, if you want the perfect setting, combined with a comfortable home, look no further. *There's no lift in the building – so be prepared to climb...More Details

Paquino is perfectly comfortable, and while it lacks a bit of flair in the design department, it’s pleasant to look at. None of this really matters though, because the big thing going for it is the position, right in the heart of Monti. There are loads of excellent restaurants around (although the kitchen is actually pretty good, easily enough for a decent meal) and you really are in the cobbled streets among the ancient ruins that define the city. *You'll have to climb the stairs to the first floor – the building doesn't have . a lift. *There's no washing machine in this home – it's just outside this home. *We found a few stains on the walls, particularly in the bathroom. *This home is located within an apartment building, with a shared entrance. An apartment in the palace of one of Rome’s greatest aristocratic families – even if we set aside the location – it’s a special place. Four floors stacked on top of each other form the backbone of the flat. The bedrooms are all beautiful, done up to modern standards, but without losing their sense of history or many of their original features. There’s a balcony and a terrace, along with panoramic views from the shower that crowns the flat. It’s a stroke of genius, one of many that elevate this apartment above the rest. Once you've had your morning shower looking out over Rome's rooftops, it's time to hit the streets. The apartment is neatly sandwiched between the stunning baroque beauty of Piazza Navona and the bustling Campo de' Fiori market – with both within a couple of minutes' walk – and close to a host of other Roman sights. Cross over Ponte Garibaldi, and you'll find yourself in trendy Trastevere in a little over ten minutes, whi...More Details
Right between Piazza Navona and Campo de’ Fiori, Refosco is in a bustling location, but inside it’s peaceful. Rich colours and plants, along with lots of decoration, create the interior design equivalent of a hug. The layout means that it’s perhaps best suited to families, or at least people who are comfortable being in close proximity, but if that doesn’t pose a problem, then it’s got a lot going for it. *The layout of the flat is rather strange – you can see from the floor plan, but you have to go through the bedrooms to get to the bathroom *There's only one bathroom, and it doesn't have any windows *For longer stays, your hosts might ask you to help out by watering the plants *Even though there's a lift most of the way to the flat, there's still a short flight of stairs you'll have to take Air Conditioning Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Carbon Monoxide Detector Central Heating Child Friendly Coffee Maker Cooking Essentials Cot / C...More Details
