The Stonewall
Perched on the slopes of the Chianti hills, this stone villa effortlessly blends traditional Tuscan farmhouse charm with modern comforts. Since children under six aren’t permitted here, this villa is a perfect spot for a group seeking a retreat amongst sprawling gardens. Indulge in ultimate relaxation at the private spa, featuring a hot tub, sauna, and Turkish bath. There’s a separate cottage for guests seeking a little extra privacy, while the outdoor terrace is perfect for sharing Tuscan dishes all together (your host even produces their own olive oil and wine). Just outside the charming village of Sarteano, this cosy villa is surrounded by woodland and rolling Tuscan countryside. We love the arched window looking out over the garden – the perfect spot to curl up on a plushy sofa with a good book. To cool down, take a long swim in the pool before drying off for an aperitif on the terrace, just one of the many outdoor lounging areas. Indulge in long lunches under the shade of the greenery before a round of table tennis on the lawn. If you’re looking to add a touch of luxury to your holiday, the spa resorts of Chianciano Terme, Bagno Vignoni, and Bagni San Filippo are just half an hour away. Wine connoisseurs might enjoy a trip to Montepulciano to wash down a cheese tasting in Pienza. Art lovers will no doubt take the hour’s drive to Siena or Arezzo for a day drip. No matter what little adventures you decide to go on, be sure to stop and smell the flowers in the garden and feel the soft grass bet...More Details

Florentine Fantasy
Halfway between the Piazza del Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio, Abada is right in the very middle of Florence’s historic centre. The flat has a curious combination of modern touches and some more classic stylings, and while the juxtaposition might prove a bit much for some people, we think it works well. The only thing to be aware of is the slightly strange seating situation. With no sofa, the dining chairs are almost like armchairs, and while that’s good for watching TV, it does make eating at the table a bit harder. *Even though there's a lift, it starts on the first floor, so you can't avoid the stairs*We found a few signs of wear and tear – nothing major, but just worth knowing about*There's no real living room, and the only soft furniture is the chairs around the dining table*The communal area gets a bit dark, particularly when it's overcast Air ConditioningBlack-Out BlindsBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingDishwasherHair Dryer...More Details
