    The Call of the Tides

Sunny garden, cosy living spaces and walking distance to the beaches, shops and eateries in Tenby? You got it. This home is perfect for a family wanting a seaside retreat, as Tenby is just an eleven-minute stroll away. Start the morning with a quick homecooked breakfast, then grab your towel and spread out on North Beach, flitting between lounging on the sand and splashing in the waves. After a day in the sun, retreat to one of the family-friendly pubs for dinner, followed by ice cream as the sunsets over the ocean. Not in the mood to explore? There's plenty to keep you busy at home, too. We love the private garden, where you can fire up the barbecue for alfresco feasts while kids let their imagination run wild in the playhouse. The living room is where the whole group can hang out together, sharing meals and watching movies. Decorated in soft blues and bright yellows with a bit of seaside dazzle thrown in for good measure, it feels lik...More Details

Out in the wilds of the Gower peninsula, this traditionally-built stone house makes for a grand country retreat. Walking trails snake across the land, and following fields and footpaths can see you at the local Llangennith pub in twenty minutes or perhaps stop at the general store for home baking and a hot coffee. Perhaps enjoy lunch at the picnic tables on the decking as you take in the view. Six acres of wildland surround the home, so there's plenty of space for kids to run around and you might encounter the resident sheep, keeping the grass cut.If the wind gets too much, head inside to the cosy living room where a wooden-beamed ceiling r...More Details

    Bluebird Feather

Located on the ground floor of a converted Victorian house, this ground-floor apartment has arguably the best position at the address. This is down to the private terrace, accessible through the bedroom's glass doors, which is a lovely place in which to sit and soak up the sunshine on summer afternoons. The interior escapes the gloomy fate of many a ground floor flat thanks to the skylight above the kitchen, which fills the space with natural light. There's a reassuring quality to the furnishings and fittings, especially the minimalist kitchen and the dark bathroom.Located on the outskirts of Roath, the local area has a laid-back feel popular with families and young professionals. That being said, the bright lights of the Welsh capital aren't too far away — the restaurants and venues of Cardiff Bay take little over ten minutes to reach in the car. *The single-level apartment's on the ground floor*There's free parking available on the st...More Details

    The Ship Song

Sweeping beach views from the big bay windows and nautical touches to the decor – there’s no doubt you’re by the sea in this grand apartment. Right on the shorefront in the charming seaside town of Tenby, you can watch the waves roll in and out as you take breakfast at the sunny dining table. The open living area is an opulent medley of high corniced ceilings, bold midnight blue walls and tufted velvet sofas. Quartz-topped and tucked into an old archway, the kitchen is a shining example of modernity amidst the Georgian-style furnishings. If the view isn’t reminder enough, nautical-themed object d’art like a boat’s helm on the hallway wall and coastal pictures in the living room whisper of your seaside locale. Heading outside, the salty air carries with it the promise of ice-cream on the promenade (right on your doorstep) and crabbing at the beach’s rockpools. Boats bobbing in the harbour let you know that the catch of the day is as fres...More Details

    Remain In Light

Standing tall in a Georgian neighbourhood, this Newport home is just as handsome on the inside as it is on the outside. There's a great range of colours used throughout, with several shades on the walls and furnishings lending character. The kitchen is large and well-equipped enough for a handful of sous-chefs to work under the watchful eye of the head cook, while there's even a garden that uses tiers to work with the sloping land available. We think they've done a smashing job with it and you'll appreciate it during the summer months. At the top of the street, there's a park with a lovely view of the city, the centre of which only takes fifteen minutes to reach on foot. A little further afield, there are attractions towards the mouth of the River Usk, including RSPB Newport Wetlands, a quarter of an hour's drive away. *Cots and high chairs are available upon request.*There's free non-allocated street parking available.*The home is spr...More Details

    Paths to Dawn

Slow down at this Welsh cottage set in the slate mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog fringing the mighty Snowdonia National Park. Inside, the original period features of this slate-clad home have been carefully restored to create a modern family home boasting comfortable interiors. The welcome hamper stuffed with local goodies is a nice touch, and outside, there's an enclosed terrace to savour morning cuppas. Parking on the road outside the cottage can be tricky, but with a free car park nearby, we don't think it's a dealbreaker. When you're ready for an adventure, Snowdonia National Park is just a short drive away. Or stay local and climb the surrounding Moelwynion Mountains to reach Stiniog –? the views are worth the climb. *Parking on the road outside the cottage can be tricky, but there is a free car park less than three minutes away on foot.*The cottage has steep stairs with an extra step onto the landing and an internal step down t...More Details

    Sand - Memories

Traditional bucket and spade holidays have been enjoyed in this well-loved seaside resort by generations, so it's a great choice for a family break by the sea. Just a short stroll from Broad Haven's famous sandy beach (a Blue Flag award-winner), this home is all about spending quality time together in a warm and homely space. With sea views and a fabulous deck area with a private hot tub, it's a place to relax and have fun.Recently refurbished, the interior is smart and spacious, with a log-effect fire in the living area, a comfy sofa facing the sea-view window and a big dining table. Open-plan to keep everything sociable, the kitchen is newly fitted and provides everything you'll need for cooking at home. And this home comes with a few extras – there's a small study with a desk if you need to keep in touch with work while you're away, and a separate snug offers the children a space of their own, with a smart TV for streaming their favo...More Details

We think this family home is a real beaut. The cosy lounge is the perfect place to unwind with a movie night – and with access to Netflix and Prime, you'll have plenty of choices – while upstairs, a sumptuous clawfoot tub beckons after a long day on your feet. Keen chefs can cook up a storm in the well-appointed kitchen – it has everything you need, whether you fancy a Sunday roast or a fresh-baked treat. During the summer months, head out into the private garden and enjoy your dinner alfresco. Whether you're sipping wine on the deck while watching kids bounce on the trampoline or bubbling under the stars in the hot tub, it's our favourite spot to relax in the summer sunshine. Although you're about a half-hour walk (or five-minute drive) from the train station, shops, pubs and eateries in Newport's city centre, Ridgeway's peaceful atmosphere and fantastic green spaces feel miles away. Take an invigorating stroll across the Ridgeway, adm...More Details

    Retro Slice

Perfect for a pair, this retro apartment is nestled between two scenic beaches. Despite being a bit far from Swansea's centre, you'll be right on the coast – a worthwhile trade as it's only a fifteen-minute walk to Langland Bay and thirty to Mumbles. It's a top-floor apartment, so expect to climb some stairs – but that aside, you'll have a good amount of space here to chill out and unwind. There isn't a TV, so bring a book or a deck of cards to pass along the time. Or, switch off completely and spend all your time with your toes in the sea. *This is a second-floor apartment without a lift, so it won't be suitable for guests with limited mobility*Please note there isn't a TV here – if you want to catch up on your favourite shows, we suggest bringing a laptop or tablet for streaming*There's wi-fi here, but it's mobile MiFi so the connection might not be the strongest*Unfortunately, this home isn't suitable for children and infants*Contac...More Details

This Grade II listed home’s enviable location will have seaside seekers flocking to its door. Perfect for a family retreat, you’ll find five bedrooms and two living rooms spread across its four floors. There are only two bathrooms, though, so be prepared to wait to freshen up in the mornings – we think the chill-out area on the fourth floor is just the spot to pass the time. With beaches, shops and restaurants all mere minutes away, everything you need for a memorable coastal getaway is within easy reach. *If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance and bring your own cot linen.*There are steep stairs to the attic room. Children must be supervised at all times. *There are two parking permits for Sainsbury's, one of which is reserved. An EV charging point is nearby, approximately 30 yards from the reserved parking bay.*The fifth bedroom contains three...More Details
