We think this cute home on the south Devon coastline has the rustic cosiness of a beach hut, but with all the modern finesse demanded by today's holidaymakers. Inside, original wood flooring and the brick fireplace housing a wood-burner are particularly handsome features, but the real star of the show is the view of Brixham Harbour from the large windows in both the living room and bedrooms — pack your binoculars and you can watch fishing boats coming in and out of the bay. Around the other side of the home, there's a stone-walled back garden complete with a patio, alfresco seating area and a barbecue. We can totally understand if you're not in the mood to cook at any point and the nearby town of Brixham — only ten minutes or so away on foot — has plenty of seafood restaurants, as well as fish and chips shops and cosy pubs.
