A simple, unflashy, but generally pleasant loft, Rush Hour’s main draw is its proximity to the Duomo. It also has a set of French windows that light up the entire place (it’s all a single room, with the exception of the bathroom). There are a couple of sister flats in the same building, still managed by Valerio, so while the flat itself can’t really accommodate more than two people, larger groups could book more than one place at a time. *As is pretty common in Florence, there's no lift, so you'll have to go up a rather steep staircase to reach the flat*The kitchen's very small, with only two rings on the hob, and no oven or dishwasher*The bed on the mezzanine is completely open to the living room below*Two people can sleep on a sofa bed below, but the flat feels too small for four people at once Air ConditioningBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingDishwasherHair DryerIronKitchenMicrowaveMultiple Sets of KeysRain ShowerTVWi-fi...More Details

Palazzo Paradiso
Tuscan Muse
With a striking contrast between the modern, minimalist aesthetic of the flat, and the seventeenth-century palazzo that houses it, this apartment is sure to impress as soon as you pass the threshold. In the living area, antique furnishings and a mustard velvet couch are illuminated by enormous arched windows. We particularly loved the double-height ceilings with original beams, adding a touch of grandeur to the space. There’s a mezzanine level for quiet downtimes and a private sunshine yellow patio for laidback breakfasts and glasses of Chianti at dusk. Step outside your building and take the minute’s walk to the Palazzo Strozzi, home to international contemporary exhibitions. If Renaissance masterpieces are more your thing, Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and Verrocchio and Leonardo’s Baptism of Christ hang proudly in the Uffizi Gallery, a five-minute walk away. * Child-friendly amenities such as a cot and a high chair are available upon ...More Details
