As all the ancient `800 building of the historical center there`s no elevator, to reach the apartment there is a 60 steps stairs, but as you get up to the top you`ll forget about it.

The location is so central that you can easily get back home any time of the day for a quick rest or a bite and go out again to visit this magnificent city.
It is also the perfect base for a day trip to Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Bologna. Even Rome, Venice and Milan are just a couple of hours away thanks to the high speed train that stops in Santa Maria Novella Train Station.

I'll take care of contacting guests one week before their arrival in order to better organize their hospitality. I give everyone a map of the city and all the necessary information to better enjoy the apartment and the city. That said, I want to emphasize that I am always available for any request of my guests, to help them during their stay in Florence.
The palace is located within the ZTL zone of Florence which prohibits driving or parking without residency permits. If you are travelling by car, I would recommend you to park in one of the private garages in the centre (the nearest to the apartment is "Garage S.Orsola", just 30 meters away) and obtain a temporary access permit. Upon arrival at the garage,they will note the vehicle`s number plate and forward it to the appropriate police headquarters.
