Granted, the home's interiors aren't anything to write home about, and the kitchen is pocket-sized, but there's a host of communal facilities to make up for that. Think shared outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, and within the wider green grounds, playgrounds and communal barbecue terraces. The nearby retail outlets will be handy for picking up essentials, too. As is the way in Dubai, you'll need to drive to get around. But all the hotspots, including Dubai Mall, Palm Jumeirah, and Burj Al Arab, are never more than half an hour's drive away.
