The Shipyard
For an authentic experience in Venice, this apartment is a good choice. It’s in the San Marco sestiere, close to Palazzo Zaguri, St Mark’s Square, and La Fenice Opera House – location doesn’t get better than this. The vaporetto stops of Accademia, Giglio and Sant’Angelo are all within easy reach, so the city is yours to discover. The apartment is all wood beams and antique furniture – if you like sleek, modern homes, this isn’t the one for you – but it’s full of character. The living room looks out over the campo and the bell tower of Santo Stefano, which makes sipping pre-dinner drinks at home all the more appealing.
