Windlesham is one such village, and it's the perfect spot for some downtime in the fresh air. You won't be far from South London by rail or car – although you'll need to travel to Bagshot to hop on the train – but you'll fall in love with the slower pace of life here. Pints in the cosy gastropubs, rounds at the nearby golf clubs, mid-day strolls through Chobham Common – we can think of worse ways to pass the time.
This smart apartment is a lovely place to call home while you're in town. We love the modern design and cosy furniture – imagine sinking into the plush sofa after a long walk, a glass of wine in one hand and a good book in the other. You can also unwind with a soak in the bathtub or rinse off from your adventures under the rainfall shower.
