OMG! We arrived at Villa Decaj and were met by Miss Angela and Mr Ross the housekeeper and gardener. Beautiful people who treated us like their own children. Villa Decaj is split over 2 floors with every amenity known to man. The location on the cap estate was phenomonal and close to Rodney Bay. Reduit beach and in particular 'Spinnakers' restaurant & grill were fantastic. Fresh catch of the day and the lobster was mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!! I would recommend a hirecar although Terry Marius is a local driver who drove us all around (2 parents, 4 teenagers) daily . As this is self catering i would recommend you take PLENTY of money as even if you cook yourself or Miss Angela does for you, food in the supermarket (Super J's, Rodney Bay being the nearest) is horrendously expensive cmpared to UK supermarket prices. The day after we arrived, i went shopping with Miss Angela and spent $285 EC on groceries with no cleaning products and very little alcohol so very, very costly. Put it this way... we spent getting on for £3k for 6 adults (no concessions for anybody in the W.I) for 10 day stay on the Island. There are numerous trips, we went on the catamaran trip to Pitons, the drive through volcano. Amazing scenery but it cost the equivalent of almost £500 round trip for the 6 of us, which made it a darn dear day trip and both myself and my 12 yr old son were sick as dogs as the sea was so rough! I would actually avoid St Lucia in August as we arrived on the Monday and by the Tuesday night the hurricane had started and we were on 'lock down' until Thursday morning! Not brilliant with 12, 14, 15 and 17 yr olds to entertain! All in all, an amazing holiday, with a fabulous villa with brilliant staff and locals but very, very expensive island and not really geared up for children. More a couples break...

Staying at the decaj villa was something to be remembered. I enjoyed my trip to st lucia an experience never to be forgotten. Decaj villa brought a nice warming vibe with a lovely view. The rooms were nicely sized with fitted air con. The view from the balcony was epic and the food was amazing. Overall i really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone planning a holiday to st luica. PS: i forgot to mention the swimming pool where i spent the majority of my mornings .

Villa Decaj is a beautiful, spacious villa that we spent time this past holiday week 2010. Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. All 6 of us had a great time in St. Lucia and at our time spent at the Villa. I would recommend this property.
