We have stayed at many locations on grace bay and this one is the best.! Everything was provided. And it had the very best view. Very clean and updated. The resort it self is very lovely with lush landscaping. We were there during the tropical storm and had no problems at all. We rented a car but really didn't need it other than a trip to the store. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful apartment and location. It was all perfect! The view is amazing - so nice to relax on the balcony with breakfast in the morning and then cocktails in the evening. Renting the apt was easy and Andrew was very nice to deal with. The location is perfect - wide beach regardless of the tide. Having a washer and dryer made it easy to pack light - not that you need much! Andrew's neighbors were also very nice. The hotel restaurant is known for having the best happy hour on the island! We can't wait to go back!

Just returned from 6 nights at the Calabash Suite and would like to add my enthusiastic and positive comments to those of previous renters. The suite is wonderful, as nice and reasonably priced an accommodation as I think you could find on Provo. The furnishings are comfortable and tasteful, the kitchen well-equipped, the sheets and towels all of high quality and in great condition. The fact that the cleaning crew came in and performed a mid-stay cleaning helped to maintain its neat and clean condition so it always seemed fresh. The media center set-up includes a large flat screen to use in the event you wish to watch TV or a video. There's even an extra phone for free calls to the states. Andrew has gone to great lengths to make his guests feel comfortable and his gestures of providing detailed written information/instructions as well as a card and other amenities are welcome touches. We loved the location, virtually across the street from Coco Bistro and a short drive from other restaurants, the Bakery, food store and other shopping. As the resort is located near the eastern end of the beach, there isn't ever a lot of beach traffic so you never feel as though you're competing for space with others or part of a bustling resort. The resort's pool, bar and restaurant, beach facilities, towels and chairs are all available for use so you get to enjoy those resort amenities as well. As others have pointed out, the best feature of the Suite might be the veranda, which directly overlooks the beach and affords spectacular sunset photo ops. I must have taken the same photos every day our entire stay - they were just too beautiful to pass up. Andrew was a pleasure to work with, well-organized in his rental process and quick to follow-up whenever I had questions. I will - or have - made arrangements to return. Thanks, Andrew, for sharing this little part of Paradise.

Stop Looking and Book This Condo! Guest: Terry D. (Cedar Grove, Wisconnsin) Date of Stay: 03/13/13 The Calabash Suite was heaven! So much better than anticipated. Andrew was a pleasure to work with. The suite was subtle but superbly furnished. We enjoyed the sound system and comfortable furniture when we were indoors, which was rare as the balcony was the prime location for relaxation. There is no better place to dine with a view like this. If you are looking for a quiet and tranquil location, this is it, look no further. It was spotless and had everything thing we needed and more. Staying in this suite, you will be the envy of all other resort guests. The beach is stunning and is right outside your balcony. In only a few short steps you can walk for miles down one of the worlds most beautiful beaches. Thank you andrew for sharing the Calabash Suite! We will be back.

I can not say enough about andrew and his wonderful suite! This being my fourth year traveling to the Island, I really wanted a nice place...and I got it. The photos he provides while wonderful are not nearly as nice as it is in person. I have stayed at the Royal West Indies before and can tell you that this suite is by far the best...you pull the curtains back and there is the ocean...wonderful. Andrew has taken a lot of care to upgrade his unit and it is great...can compete with any of the higher end resorts. The RWI is a great place, very laid back with some great people working there. I also always meet nice people when there. Andrew is so easy to deal with and I hope to always rent from him now vs go through a hotel. I was a bit nervous about doing a owner rental but was delighted. He is flexible, follows through and his unit is top notch!!!

I would like to first thank andrew for providing such a wonderful condo and his attention to detail is first rate. The location of the condo cannot be beat! The view is awesome and the the Calabash Suite is a true vacation paradise. Everything you could think of is either provided by andrew or by the resort. The beach and the water are spectacular. Every day was a true joy and we couldn't have asked for anything better. The condo is close to shopping and the grocery store which made it easy in stocking up on anything we needed. We will certainly stay here again in the future. If looking for a place on TCI, look no further than Calabas Suite.

We spent two weeks in the Calabash Suite and I don't even know where to begin to tell you how beautiful this property is. The views from the beachfront balcony are absolutely breathtaking especially at sunset. The unit itself has a kitchen that makes you want to stay in and cook your meals even though you are on vacation. It's not work when you can pour yourself a glass of wine and prepare a meal in the wonderfully equipped kitchen. We only went out for four meals in two weeks as there were no restaurants that could hold a candle to the view that we had from our own room. The sheets, towels, cookware and everything provided was of the highest quality. We felt instantly comfortable and at home, not like we were staying in a typical hotel room. The property itself is beautifully maintained and the lushness of the gardens is unsurpassed by any property on Grace Bay. Will I return, I am counting the days...

Working with the owner of the Calabash suite at Royal West Indies was a breeze. The unit is fantastic, and exactly as the owner described. Wonderful view of the beach and so easy to get to after a day on the beach. The golf clubs in the closet were an added bonus. The kitchen had more than we ever would need. First rate unit that we hope to be able to stay at in the future. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

My wife and I stayed at the Calabash Suite the first week in April. Everything exceeded our expectations, even though we had read all the positive reviews. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the appliances were top of the line, and the view was spectacular. There are very good restaurants within an easy walk: Coyaba, Caicos Cafe, Coco Bistro, and Bella Luna were all excellent. We also enjoyed the restaurant at the resort, Pelican Bay. It is not quite as good as the others, but is still very good, and less expensive. We also took a taxi to eat at Magnolia. The view is worth it, but we thought the food was not worth the price (especially with the added taxi fare.) Some reviews of restaurants at Grace Bay imply that you will have to spend over $300 for meals for two. Restaurants are expensive, but our meals, including appetizer (we usually split this), entree, a glass of wine, and a split desert ranged from $85 to $145 for both of us, including tax and service charge. Expensive, but not excessive for the quality of the meals. Everything has to be imported and is taxed. The grocery store is also a fairly short walk (15 minutes or so) or bike ride, or the front desk will call a taxi (10:30 and 3:30 a taxi is on call to do this) and the driver will wait up to about half an hour for you while you shop - for $20 round trip for two. All of the staff at the resort were friendly and helpful, even though we had a private rental. The sailboats, kayaks, chairs and umbrellas are always available. If the chairs are all taken (rarely) the staff will set up an umbrella and chairs wherever you want. Towels were sometimes a problem, since they only seem to put our a few at a time, so you may have to go back later for them. To snorkle, you need to have a rental car to drive to a reef area or take one of the snorling trips. The boats pull right up to the resort beach to pick you up. Overall we had a perfect experience until we got to the airpor to go home. Get there very early to avoid a very long security check line!

"Great Vacation and Great Condo" "The condo The Calabash suite was so much more then we ever expected. The condo is beautiful and everything is perfect from the minute you open the door. The building is the best in the whole resort. The views of the beach, water and the sunsets are amazing. We used the beautiful balcony every morning and every evening. The aC is great. The owner has thought of many details down to the plush towels in the bathroom and the lovely artwork throughout. The kitchen is very well appointed. There was nothing we needed. Many channels on the TV and a beautiful sound system. The resort is great. Friendly people all around. The restaurant on site is very nice. I want to say to book this condo and communicate with the owner was great. Andrew helped us in many ways and made us feel very comfortable during our stay. I have to admit I am very picky when it comes to hotel/condo accommodations. I also have to say there was nothing to be picky about with this condo. It had it all and we will definitely be returning."

We returned from out second stay at the Calabash. It was great. It is spacious, spotless and the sunsets from the balcony were outrageous. Rwi's grounds are beautiful and the on site restaurant and bar were so convenient. The Calabash had all the luxuries of home. Andrew is very easy to work with and accomodating. This was our 7th trip to Provo and will never stay anywhere else again. We booked next June as soon as we returned home. We have been to the Caribbean, Mexico and Hawaii over 37 times and this past trip was our best trip ever. You can't go wrong with the Calabash.

We have traveled all over the Caribbean and found this property and location to be our new favorite! The owner of this beautiful oceanfront property responds very quickly via email and attends to every detail of your stay. Royal West Indies is a very quiet and restful resort, appropriate for couples or families. The staff is amazing--and it makes no difference if you are a resort guest or owner/guest of owner. Mango Reef is the restaurant on property, serving fantastic breakfasts, lunches and dinners pool side, with great bar service as well. A dedicated pool/beach staff sets up chairs on beach and runs the use of beach equipment with extreme efficiency. The grounds are immaculate, with a large gardening staff on site doing daily maintenance. Two pools and one hot tub are a bonus, with very comfortable padded lounge chairs surrounding both venues. The location on Grace Bay is perfect----walking distance (10 min or less) to 5 of the best restaurants in Provo, with the Casino right next door. There are two bakeries and one modern IGA grocery within walking distance as well, or the resort offers free bikes with baskets to transport purchases back to resort. The beach is the main draw--wide at this end of Grace Bay and no bothersome beach peddlers. This particular unit is located in the only oceanfront building in the complex and is on the most desired second floor, allowing for excellent sunset views of beach and ocean directly from the covered patio. (First floor units have no view of ocean due to dunes and third floor units have no roof, so you have no relief from sun or drizzle. The unit is comfortable and well decorated, with all the creature comforts and modern technology available- --two TV's, stereo system, I-Pod dock, etc. Well appointed kitchen with all the basic supplies and plenty of seating both indoors and out. King bed is comfortable and bathroom is more than adequate and is outside bedroom. We plan on returning next year!!!!

We have vacationed at a number of privately owned condos in the Caribbean, Florida, Arizona and Hawaii. The Calabash Suite is at the top of our list. Not only is the unit on prime beachfront of Grace Bay, the Island of Providenciales has yet to be developed comparable to other islands and was perfect for our R & R vacation from our hectic life at home. The beach sand is compact for our long, enjoyable walks and safe to walk to neighbouring restaurants in the evening. The condo included all that was needed for our vacation; we only had to supply our own food, drink and personal essentials. Thank you for a memorable vacation; we will be back to visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Calabash Suite. The Unit itself was nicer and roomier than expected and the views from the living area and porch were spectacular. The Kitchen was well appointed. The resort was extremely nice and the Mango Reef restaurant at the resort was great. We were initially worried about renting a suite directly from an owner however, the process was smooth and pleasant. The owner provided us with everything we needed to enjoy our stay and was even thoughtful enough to send us a Turks and Caicos Dining guide before our stay. This was very helpful making reservations for some lovely dinners. All in all I would highly recommend the Calabash suite.

The Calabash Suite is truly an upscale retreat destination. The sleek condo has high end amenities and a beautifully appointed kitchen. The oceanfront patio offers mesmerizing views of the turquoise sea. The sunsets are nothing short of spectacular! The owner of the Calabash Suite has done his utmost, so that his guests may experience the vacation of a lifetime. If you desire a slice of paradise, book it!

We enoyed a 10 might stay in the calabash Suite. This 2nd level suite has a large wrap around deck with plenty of room to enjoy the unobstructed views of Grace Bay beach and the sunset. This deck has great breezes and room for four bursts to enjoy a meal. The condo is lovely and quiet, away from any restaurant or bar noise. Access to the beach is less than 3 minute and towels and beach activities are readily available. Grace Bay beach is absolutely stunning, soft sand and warm water that continue for miles. Walking access to several restaurants and shopping. The resort has a wonderful restaurant and bar, excellent food and service. We really enjoy the smaller size of this resort, but large enough to have all the amenities including quiet pools away from any toddlers, if you prefer. This was a beautiful, relaxing setting for a very enjoyable vacation. We hope to return in the future, and Andrew the owner is wonderful to work with. Thanks again.

Sorry to disappoint all of you but we’re not leaving! We booked this for our 25th anniversary. Breakfast on the balcony watching the incredible turquoise water and the occasional visit by JoJo the dolphin playing just off shore. Miles of beach to walk, scuba, snorkeling, swimming and happy hour Crazy Monkeys just down the stairs at Pelican restaurant. Best of all is the incredible sunset from the balcony! With a bottle of wine we’ve been saving for 10 years, sipping as the sun set on our anniversary, we fell in love double. One week is not enough! The suite is gorgeous. So much space and comfort. Elaine the suite manager (haha) is a delight! On our daily walks we decided this suite is the best on all 12 miles of beach. Thank you Andrew. We’ll be back!
