Tranquility Villa is without doubt the most idyllic place we have ever stayed. Set in a truly beautiful location above Port Antonio, the spectacular views of colourful tropical jungle against a back drop of the Blue Mountains to the south and the turquoise Caribbean Sea to the north were unrivalled and provided the perfect place to while away lazy, relaxing hours. Indeed we didn't feel the need to go anywhere, especially as we were looked after so brilliantly by Dennis and Beverley, who couldn't have been more kind and friendly. Fantastic home cooked Jamaican food and lovely attention to detail, such as romantic floral touches and delicious fresh soursop juice, they were brilliant hosts. Thank you, thank you!
All in all, we LOVED everything about Tranquility villa and would definitely head there again should we have the chance to return to Jamaica.

Our recent stay at Tranquility Villa was very relaxing. Beverly was a great cook and introduced us to delicious Jamaican cooking. Oxtail will now be on our menu!
Charlie was a great spokesperson for this beautiful part of Jamaica and took very good care of us as he showed us all the sights. The villa was very comfortable and well maintained but the best feature was the views from all the decks...unbelievable!

We had a truly lovely time at your villa. It really is in a fantastic location and we really fell in love with everything the parish had to offer (especially Frenchman’s Cove and Winnifred Beach) All the meals Beverly cooked were absolutely delicious and Dennis ensured that we would want for nothing and both put us very much at ease.

This house is wonderfully decorated, situated and staffed. We were welcomed and made comfortable by Dennis and Beverly who took very good care of us. beverly cooked wonderful meals for us upon request or stayed away if we felt like cooking ourselves. The location of the house is fabulous. We spent many hours just sitting on the decks with our feet up watching the sunsets, sketching the palms and looking down over the harbor lights of Port Antonio at night. Wonderful vacation! And the house was extremely comfortable.

Tranquility villa is gorgeous! The home is spotless, and tastefully decorated in Caribbean style. This villa sits high above Port antonio with a billion dollar view! It delivers tranquility, pampering, and is centrally located for many activities. We especially enjoyed the soft music sounds of Port antonio drifting up to the villa. The villa had a great sound system of it's own that could be heard inside and outside, that we enjoyed daily.
Beverly cooks anything you request. She is very helpful setting up menus, and will accompany you to the stores or will do the shopping ahead of time, or when needed upon arrival. The highlight of the day was awaiting her scrumptious meals! She was also a friend in need when I sustained a minor injury during the visit, which required going to a local hospital.(my fault..no defect in the villa!)Thanks again Beverly!!
Dennis was very professional and friendly. He gave us great advise on places to visit, etc. He did all he could to pamper us during our entire stay. He fixed us daily fruit smoothie pitchers to mix with our rum for happy hour or to have at breakfast time! He took great care of us during a tropical storm we experienced while we were there, and from our viewpoint this storm was fun to watch and did not detract from our visit. The villa was safe during the storm as well as at night!
I loved the view and the pool more than anything...however, you had to earn the view by ascending the road to the villa. I rented a car and drove myself for the most part. I would do it again, however, it does come with some trepidation! My nephews stated you had to earn that tranquility by arriving at the villa, but it made it all the more special! Believe me, if I could do it...so could anyone else. I have a fear of heights! Having said that I would do it again and again, and would rent a car..so it couldn't have been that bad!
Hard to say goodbye to Dennis and Beverly, as well as this perfect spot in paradise!

Stayed at Tranquility Villa with my sister recently, and it surpassed all of our expectations. The views are stunning and the house is very comfortable. Our trip was the perfect balance of adventurous excursions and relaxing at "home," either by the pool, on the veranda or the back deck overlooking the Blue Mountains. The staff, Dennis and Beverly, are very friendly and made our stay so enjoyable - it was great to get to know them and learn about Jamaica from them. Everyone bent over backwards to ensure we had a great vacation - starting with Charlie, the chartered driver who picked us up at the airport and served as our tour guide during our stay. I'm already looking forward to my next trip there!

visited this property with my wife and twin 3-year old girls. Girls loved the small pool - it was perfect for them. The views are just amazing. Property is just a few minutes drive from all the sites including Frenchmen's cove. Dennis and Bev are just amazing...so helpful with everything. Would recommend the property w/out any hesitation.

This was my second time staying at Tranquility, (15th trip to Jamaica), My stays at Tranquility, were by far the best! Each stay gets better and better! I love the home, it's beautiful, spacious, clean, private, and the view is priceless! It's far enough away from everything, that you have the privacy you desire, but it's close enough to experience everything Jamaica has to offer. The food the cook made was fabulous, it was wonderful to have exactly what we wanted for our meals. (Helpful if your'e vegetarian, or have special dietary needs- one of us is vegetarian and the other, not). Can't pinpoint what I like most. Meals outside with a beautiful view and flower decorations on the table, lots of sun on both sides of the house, the food, swimming pool...? I loved, loved, loved everything! All of my vacation needs were met, and then some! Can't wait to get back!

We adored our stay at Tranquility -- it truly lives up to its name! This elegant, old-school school villa, built in the 1950s, is perched on a mountaintop. The views alone (Port antonio bay one one side, Blue Mountains on the other) are worth the price of admission! The house is small (5 people max but 4 is ideal) but airy and completely private. And the decor -- white wood wainscoting, ceiling fans, teak floors and simple white beds with mosquito netting -- is classic Jamaica (Noel Coward or Ian Fleming would have been very much at home here).
Our stay was made even more delightful by a warm and professional staff: Beverly, a gifted cook specializing in Jamaican cuisine, on-property houseman Dennis, and on-call driver Charlie. Frenchman's Cove, a gorgeous private beach, is a 15-20 minute car ride away -- but truthfully, this is the kind of place where you can wile away the hours sitting by the pool and watching the changing views as the light shifts. One issue to take into consideration: the trip from the airport is 2- 21/2 hours through winding mountain roads. But the setting and staff make it well worth the wait!

Being British I'm not given to superlatives but this place was absolutely incredible. As others have remarked it exceeded all expectations and you really had to pinch yourself to check you weren't hallucinating . The views over to the bay in front and to the Blue Mountains behind will make your spirit sore. The villa is ideally designed to take full advantage of the beautiful vistas with patios to the front (3) and rear. The pool is great: small but we managed to use it for exrcise as well as lazing on the floating pool loungers just taking in the views.
The villa is very well designed and furnished and exudes quality. Denis and Bev were great, the latter cooking up a string of tasty meals.
The drive up is not for the fainthearted being rather steep with the odd cavernous pothole but you soon get used to it. The villa is very private and secluded but is not isolated as there a number of others houses around.
We travelled across Jamaica and Portland was easily the most beautiful part. You will be tempted to spend all your tie relaxing at the villa but the nearby beaches are stunning e.g Frenchman's Cove. Port Antonio is a lively place with a great daily market.
Forget all the hotels - none of them have views to comapre with this place.

I travelled to many places but have never felt upon entering my lodging the way I did when I set my foot in Tranquility Villa. The place is indescribably beautiful -- the pictures on the website do not justice to the views you have from the villa. Together with my family, we had huge trouble coming up with appropriate adjectives that would sum this place up. You have the view of the Caribbean Sea to your left, palm and bamboo trees and Blue Mountains in front of you and to your right. The villa staff -- Dennis and Beverly -- should teach courses on hospitality. They were warm, friendly, and welcoming; we immediately bonded with them. Dennis cut gorgeous flowers every morning to set at the table on the terrace. Beverly cooked Jamaican food that was just incredible. Our driver, Charlie, proved to be so much more than a driver. He was an amazing guide. He went out of his way to accomodate us and to show real Jamaica to us.
I really have nothing negative to say about Tranquility Villa. The villa is clean and stylishly furnished, the beds are comfy, the service is impeccable, and the owner with whom we booked our stay was kind and willing to spend considerable amount of time over the phone with me prior to our landing in Jamaica and answer my questions. The ride through Blue Mountains to get to Port antonio is beautiful and definitely worth the 2 hours in the car.
Since getting back, we are recommending Tranquility Villa to all our friends and family. Just before leaving the villa, we took a picture with Beverly, Dennis, and Charlie and as we were leaving, found ourselves tearing up -- which tells ou how lovely the staff was towards us! It was a heavenly stay!

Tranquility Villa was true to its word with a casual, home-like environment and lovely staff (Bev, my new friend and Dennis, that cool cat) who were present when you needed them, and left us on our own as well. The home was perfect for us (2 couples). We used every inch of it, the decks, porch, pool area - each with stunning gorgeous views!
Port antonio is like a best kept secret, very different from resort-style locations. The drive from Kingston is legendary with winding, twisting roads, pot holes and aggressive driving. We just surrendered to our very experienced driver and focused on the exceptional views.
We went to Frechmen's Cove twice, loved it, that was one of the highlights, also the rafting was beautiful. One night we dined a the Bush Bar (GeeJam), wonderful food and amazing service.
The guys went deep sea fishing and came back with stories about their great adventure.
Al in all...Pretty hard to find anything to complain about! Can't wait to go back.

We loved this place so much that I was almost tempted not to write a review in the hope of keeping it secret.
The villa is beautiful; quietly elegant and immaculately maintained.
The polished wood floors felt great under bare feet and the breeze blows right through the place keeping it cool and fresh. The views - the blue mountains to the right and the sea to the left - are captivating and the staff (Beverley and Dennis) made us feel completely relaxed and well looked after at the same time.
I'd recommend this place to anybody with an appreciation of nature and time to watch the sky.

I was thinking that when I get to heaven and God takes me by the hand to show me my personal mansion on my street of gold, I would have to interrupt and say "Well, Lord, actually, may I have a "Tranquility"? Then I realized... He knows... So He would pat my hand, smile, point the way... then I'd see... oh yeah... I'm in heaven... then I'd get to spend eternity, not just the short visit I so far have had the immense pleasure to experience! Thank you Tranquility! I look forward to seeing you again!!

I had been wishing to return to Port Antonio ever since visiting there in 1987 and falling in love with the place as I gazed at the Neverland-like twin harbors from the old Bonnie View Hotel. I told myself that I would return there one day with my wife so that she could marvel at the beauty of Portie with me. It only took us 24 years to make it there together! Imagine my delight at finding Tranquility Villa, less than 1/4 mile from the Bonnie View at the top of Richmond Hill, with the same magnificent view of the harbors, and even better views of the Blue Mountains to the west! We absolutely LOVED our stay at Tranquility Villa. Simple, yet very comfortable, with a relaxing pool and deck, along with a spacious covered front porch and a cozy open back deck. Air Conditioning was available but rarely needed with the cool sea breezes constantly blowing through the hills. Houseman Dennis was a terrific host, engaging in conversation and caring in his actions. He even washed our car for us while we were out rafting one day! And Beverly, our cook, made sure we enjoyed the best week of dining through our entire 25 years of marriage. Every meal she prepared was both delightful and delicious. The sweet dispositions of the staff make us feel that we have friends for life in P.A., and we hope to return there to see them again. Tranquility was the perfect jumping off place for trips to Frenchman's Cove, Rio Grande rafting, Blue Lagoon, Somerset Falls, and great walking tours of Folly Point, Errol Flynn Marina, and the bustling city and Musgrave Market. We found the people to be friendly and helpful, with more to see and do than we could fill with only a week to spend. This trip was truly a dream come true for us, largely because we found the perfect spot to enjoy paradise, a home which more than lives up to its name!

Perched at the top of a hill with n amazing view of Erroll Flynn's private island , is this most charming Jamaican style yet extremely modern villa.
I arrived at night and so did not see the amazing Blue Mountains until the next morning when I opened the door leading to my patio and beheld the quiet glory of these mountains.
Then breakfast was served on the terrace looking down on Flynn's island, floating in the Caribbean, and It was then I truly understood the meaning of the word Tranquility.
The beds were comfortable and the staff charming and helpful. It was a memorable experience and as you can see, it made me poetic.
I have rented spaces myselfand so am happy when I find a place I can recommend.

My wife and I stayed at Traquility for a week in June 2011 and could not imagine a more beautiful and peaceful retreat in Port antonio. Aside from the perfect location on a hillside just outside of town overlooking the bay, the thing that makes Tranquility Villa special is the kind and friendly staff, Dennis and Bev. They made us feel at home from the minute we arrived until we left. Dennis took care of everything and made all of our arrangements from restaurant reservations to our rafting trip on the Rio Grande with Captain Benz. Bev planned and cooked all of our meals with the freshest local ingredients and took us on a fish buying trip we will not forget! She is an excellent chef and can intoduce you to the wonderful flavors of real Jamaican cuisine. Delicious meals served on the open air front porch overlooking the bay are a romantic treat not to be missed! Private, but with easy access to town and the major beaches at Frenchman's Cove and Winifred, the house is well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay including a private swimming pool, cable television and wireless internet access, and air conditioning. All in all a fantastic place to stay made all the more special by the professionalism, kindness and friendship generously provided by Dennis and Bev. This is the hideaway in Jamaica.

The whole experience was wonderful from the very beginning. My wife was recovering from a car accident & when I expressed concern over the possibility or her being traumatized by the bumpy roads & the general driving conditions in Jamaica, which can be challenging on a good day, the proprietor graciously picked us up at the airport to ensure us safe passage. On the way, we stopped several times at various points of interest & refreshment.
Upon our arrival we were greeted by the charming employees, Dennis & Bev, who made us feel at home right away with their cheerful ministrations to our comfort & well being. They made sure we were well stocked with our favorite food & libations. With said libations in hand, we made or way onto the beautiful veranda where we were greeted by an astounding view of the sea below us & the Blue Mountains behind us. Utterly breathtaking! In all my travels I have rarely experienced a setting as beautiful, & picturesque as this. It was like being in a postcard.
After relaxing awhile, it was time to enjoy the swimming pool, located right below the veranda. To float in the pool while enjoying the scenery was just what the doctor ordered. Any remaining stress melted away instantly!
The meals prepared at Tranquility were island based & extremely delightful. It was like being at a good friend's home where you are treated like family.
That pretty much sums up the whole experience at Tranquility. Like being with family, where you are left to relax quietly, taken care of when you need to be, all with a smile & a good word. Good advice, also, as to the myriad things to do & see in the area. From the beautiful beaches of The Blue Lagoon, to the freshwater mineral springs, which were very invigorating, to the lively market right in town at the bottom of the hill. All great fun.
If you just want to kick back, and read a book in verdant beauty, or go exploring, Tranquility has it all & definitely lives up to it's name.
Highly recommended, mon.

We had a super super time at Tranquility Villa.
We are a family of 4 with 2 young boys aged 4 & 5yrs. They boys keep asking when we are going back!
The Villa's size was perfect for us and with amazing views of the mountains and the sea, so spoilt, the pool was just right too.
We are were extremely well looked after by Bev & Dennis. They make mean food and drinks. We could not have asked for more. Thought we had put on lbs from the amount of dumplings (a bit like mini donuts) we ate that Bev cooked but surprising didn't, think it was all that fresh fruit we ate too :)
We did activities every day come rain or shine (we had both and boy does it rain!!). We visited Frenchman's Cove, Bikini Beach & Winnifred Beach, we climbed Reich falls (Ben my youngest cried when it was time to turn round and climb back down, he loved it and wanted to keep going up!), we went to the Blue Lagoon twice and I hope the memory of my boys jumping from the boat in to the lagoon with shear joy on their faces will remain with me for ever. We took the bamboo raft down rio grande and ate so much jerk at Boston! Ah such fun we had.
Wished we had hired a car but we would not have known the way from Kingston. We therefore had to get a taxi everywhere. That ended up being expensive! However, we were well looked after by him.
If you are coming from the UK, take GBP£ not US$ then change at a local cambio where you get a better rate. Dealing with US$ was a right pain and we ended up having to go to the local cash point every other day as there is a limit on how much you can take out at one time.
I would love to return one day. The boys favourtie things were swimming naked in the rain, the blue lagoon and the falls!
I had the serious holiday blues when I got home, we all did. We fell under Port Antonio's spell.

This villa has the benefit of not only the patio to the front but also a balcony that both of the bedrooms open up onto. This combined with the terraced pool area means that although the villa occupies a smallish plot there was plenty of opportunity for the three of us who stayed, to have both privacy and shared space. You can also take in the magnificent views from these different vantage points and it is honestly difficult not to be mesmerized by the beautiful of this place.
The beds were terrific and the screening in the bedrooms and air conditioning made for comfortable sleeping. Sleep was disturbed by the two guard dogs, kept chained on the site, doing their job, off and on, throughout the night. Denis sleeps on the premises and there is also a guard on duty at night so probably only the so cute, free roaming goats attracting the dogs attention. We had no security problems in Portland at all, it's very laid back.
The pool is a fabulous asset in the wonderful hot Jamaican sun and there is a poolside net you can use to fish out the vegetation that falls in from the beautiful poolside planting. It gets some much appreciated shade mid afternoon and is a lovely spot for an afternoon nap.
Bev comes up to the villa to prepare meals. She took our orders for evening meals and the following mornings brunch, if required, each morning. The food was really good and we are all big fans of Jamaican breakfasts. Best to make it clear if you want the receipts and any change up front, and you will need Jamaican $. We paid about 40k JA$ for the three of us for three modest evening meals and four enormous breakfasts...including a sound supply of great rum punch, beers and our own body weight in fruit. Best not to leave any fruit out in the living areas as ours was being gnawed at...pretty sure it wasn't a goat. Talking of being gnawed we didn't have any real problem with mosquito. Sprayed ourselves and the bedroom frequently and got away with only a dozen bites or so. Housekeeping was the weakest point in this villa but frankly the setting should not be missed on account of it and the owner is available by text or phone if you have any problems during your stay.
The villa is high on the hillside which means it has great cooling breezes and an expanse of horizon that are fantastic. You really have to rely on a car to get around even short distances. The access, rough, hillside, dirt track that takes you the last 80 metres is not for the faint hearted but you get surprisingly used to it. Charlie drove us in a less than comfortable car that rattles along. He is a nice, reliable, friendly guy but I'd recommend getting a driver with a decent car if Charlie can't provide one. Portland roads are mostly pretty dire and take a tole on cars so they spend time being repaired but its very uncomfortable traveling in an old vehicle on day or half day trips. Charlie considers himself the only driver who works for the villa but the owner Fred thinks otherwise so worth checking before you start your stay.
Trips out..Reach Falls is the furthest point so go there and then visit Long Bay an the way back..pretty much the next furthest place of interest. Winifred beach to swim, Geejays for wine and cocktails and the Trident hotel for food, drink and a day by their infinity pool are all worth your time too, bearing in mind the last two are a bit pricy.

This review is late, but non the less I had to comment to persuade any future visitors...This home is amazingly beautiful and clean!!! It is open and fresh and the decor is perfect. The view are like non that Ive seen!!! Blue mountains in the back and the ocean in the front! The staff was delightful. Beverly's cooking was impressive and better than any restaurant i'd eaten at in jamaica!!! It was a honor having her cook for us and it also saved us money! Fresh lobsters, you name it..you tell her what you want and she'll make it happen. The grounds keeper was nice and made us (3 girlfriends) feel very safe! Now the downfall to the property is you need a driver. it is very high up on the hill, i personally wouldn't attempt walking!!! We hired a driver Charlie who was knowledgeable about the area and history for a extra fee....I loved port antonio and my experience at tranquility! I'll definitely be back!!! oh and don't let me forger Fred, the owner of the home who was so very helpful with my 100 calls to him before booking!!!
This home is a real treasure! Enjoy!

The views from the house are amazing. My husband and I loved hanging out at the house just swimming in the pool or lazing around taking in the picturesque scenery. It was very peaceful. Then, out of nowhere, Dennis (the valet/house man) would show up and interrupt what you thought was a private moment. You see, Dennis is the valet that lives in the apartment below the house. He is ALWAYS there. Between him and the housekeeper/cook, we were NEVER alone. I wanted a PRIVATE getaway. If that's what you're looking for, BEWARE! This is not the place for you. On top of that, everyday the private cook asks you what you want for dinner the next night and then asks for $50-$60 USD. It was so expensive. It was cheaper the one night we went and ate at a 5-star hotel in town and the food was WAY better! Plus, they don't leave your leftovers in the refrigerator either. Your food purchases go toward feeding not only you, but also Dennis and the cook and her family. They were taking our leftovers with them every night. The food was okay. It wasn't great. I will say my husband loved the food and wasn't as bothered by the lack of privacy as I was, which is why I gave 4-stars instead of 3. Overall, it wasn't the vacation I was hoping for.
Also, the house has a private driver so that you can get around, but it is incredibly expensive. There are no set prices and when my husband asked Dennis how much we should pay for the taxi service, we found out later that the advice he gave was way more than we should have paid. The driver, valet and cook all were out to get as much money from us as possible. I'm not even sure what Dennis' job is except to annoy me. I'm sure the owner employs him to make sure we don't destroy any of the property. He would get onto us about tracking water up to the porch from the pool, yet we were only given one towel each, so after getting out of the pool once, the towel was completely soaked and useless. Dennis is also incredibly misogynistic. You should be prepared for constant sexist remarks. I know this place has gotten great reviews and I'm sure a lot of people loved their time at Tranquility Villa, but this was not the vacation for me. I would have paid less at an all-inclusive resort and I would have gotten more privacy. I will not be returning to Tranquility Villa.

Tranquillity Villa embodies exactly what the name says.
Instead of staying at an "all inclusive" resort, or a mainstream hotel, with all the hustle, and bustle that comes with it, Tranquillity is the perfect choice for just relaxing.
It's location in the foothills above Port Antonio gives one the feeling of peaceful detachment from the world below.
The views are absolutely stunning.
Sitting comfortably on the spacious, and well appointed, shaded veranda above the swimming pool, caressed by a cool, wafting breeze, you can see beautiful Port Antonio below with Navy Island in the foreground; watching the boats, and ships coming and going while you are surrounded by the flowery, verdant greenery of the adjacent hills, and valleys. The best that nature has to offer.
Turning in the other direction are the lush Blue Mountains, staggering in their magnificent beauty.
The whole environment, and experience has a peaceful, calming effect on the soul. The perfect getaway for those seeking tranquillity.
The friendly staff consists of Bev the cook who makes excellent food with a smile, and a charming demeanor, and Dennis the houseman, always ready to help you out in any capacity that you may require.
This is not the Jamaica of busy, sunburnt tourists, but rather the Jamaica of your laidback dreams.
Situated high on a quiet, lush, tropical hilltop, this is where tranquillity is found.

Hard to find the words to express how amazing, beautiful, cultural, delicious, and comfortable our stay at Tranquility Villa really was! From Ms. Beverly's succulent ackee & salt fish to Dennis' sophisticated attention to our every need, this place is in the top-tier of Jamaican villas. Rejecting the touristic "resorts" in favor of experiencing the REAL Jamaica, we were thrilled that owner Fred hooked us up with Portland Parish's premier taxi driver tour guide, the legendary "Charlie", who brought us to the most inside locations throughout the parish. Charlie got local prices on real Boston jerk, conch soup, and Blue Mountain coffee while expertly dodging potholes and yielding the right of way in Jamaica's unique small road protocol. Dennis and Beverly were the most polite, knowledgeable home-hosts we could have ever found. Tranquility Villa will appeal to the sophisticated traveler who wants to live a brief, luxurious, and culturally rich Jamaican lifestyle...even if only for a week or two. Hugs and kisses and big ups to Beverly, Dennis, and Charlie...AND Fred, the captain of this amazing Caribbean mothership!

I can't begin to say enough about our stay at Tranquility Villa. It surpassed all our expectations and then some!
If you are looking for a five-star hotel with all the amenities...this may not be the place for you BUT if you are looking for lovely, relaxing spot tucked away in the lush hills of Port Antonio where the food is ten times better than a Michelin Star restaurant, the service is exemplary and the accommodation is clean, quaint and comfy.
I would recommend everyone visit this place atleast once in a life time...it was this medicine that I needed and I most definitely will return.
"Hi Fives" to the staff at Tranquility Villa, Bev and Dennis...there's hardly a request that they won't attempt to fulfil.
Book this Villa today...you won't be sorry!!

spectacular view and tranquility is the perfect word to describe this villa. Dennis and Bev are the best host we have had over the years travelling. ask them to cook some jerk chicken and pork!

If you want to see the real country of Jamaica this is the place to go. It sits high in the hills above the town of Port Antonio but is a short distance to town. It is a quick drive to some of the best beaches in the country that most people will never see.
We found the Villa to be as advertised, Clean and simple in design. Everything
you need,Great pool, Real kitchen , good internet , Cable TV and phone.
The house man Dennis is on property 24/7 and looks after you like family.
We where lucky to find it, It was off the market for a year as someone took
it as a long term rental.
This place is a great value compared to other water front Villas in the area
that can cost more for one night than we paid for an entire week.

Tranquility is an ideal location to relax deeply. THe house is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The views are breathtaking in every direction. The adventures in Port Antonio are many and far less touristy than you'll find in other parts of Jamaica. Fred an Vicki are great hosts with incredible knowledge of off the beaten path ideas that you won't find anywhere else.

Tranquility Villa was the perfect place to spend my week in Jamaica. My co-worker and I each had our own comfy room. We were able to stay connected with fast, solid WiFi. The views from the deck were stunning and the pool was great for cooling off. The proximity to the town and sights made the Villa an ideal spot for our visit. Dennis and staff took wonderful care of us. He provided fantastic, traditional food and insightful conversation. Fred, the owner, was great about communication and answering all questions I would love to return for a vacation with my family next year.
