Much like its sister apartment in the same building, Green Jay has an air of nobility that surrounds it. Antique furniture, dark wooden windows, and tiled floors all combine to encapsulate the feeling of elegance, a feeling which is common in Flaminio. This isn’t the place to stay if you want to be in the very middle of the action, but you get a sense of calm and a detachment from the tourist crowds, which is more than worth the extra journey time. *The kitchen was generally well-equipped but it was missing a few smaller appliances like a toaster or an espresso machine *Three people can sleep on sofa beds in the communal areas of the flat *The building has a porter but only during working hours Air Conditioning Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Central Heating Child Friendly Coffee Maker Cooking Essentials Cot / Crib Dishwasher Dryer Electricity Adaptors Fire Extinguisher First Aid Kit Freezer Fridge Hair Dryer Hangers High Chair Iron Kit...More Details
Bauhaus Loft
This sixth-floor loft apartment does things differently. There’s no TV for starters, and the bedrooms are comfortable, yet not breathtaking. So what caught our discerning eye? Step out onto the 200sq/metre rooftop terrace, overlooking picturesque Rome and all of your questions will be answered. The decked terrace comes with a veranda cover, plenty of sofa seating and a table for alfresco dining – we can think of nothing better than warmer evenings spent out here with friends and family, eating, drinking and laughing as the sun goes down. While there's certainly a Roman rustic charm to the home, with its wooden floorboards and low beamed ceilings, the modern details really bring the living room and kitchen to life. Light pours in through the sleek crittall windows, extending the space out to the terrace and creating a bright and airy kitchen-diner area – the modern breakfast bar is the perfect spot to sip your morning espresso. When – al...More Details

Despite a small footprint, Saguaro makes great use of the space it has. The mezzanine creates a feeling of openness while the colours brighten the place. We also really liked Iacopo, who we found really patient and helpful (even for a Plum host). The area is an interesting one, and depending on your point of view, could be considered a downside, as it’s a bit out of many of the main tourist hotspots. It is, however, an opportunity to experience Rome as a Roman would, free from the crowds and vendors. *Even though the apartment's on the ground floor, you have to go up and down some steps to reach the front door *The shower doesn't have a door, just a curtain *Guests 3 and 4 will be on a sofa bed in the living room Air Conditioning Bicycles Board Games Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Carbon Monoxide Detector Ceiling Fans Central Heating Cleaning Products Coffee Maker Cooking Essentials Cot / Crib Dishwasher Drying Rack Espresso Machine Ex...More Details

Beehive Beauty
The way Onsen is laid out makes it quite an unusual flat. You have two separate suites, each with its own kitchen (and each available to rent individually), which share a small courtyard. It’s the kind of place that, if misjudged, could be quite soulless, but luckily that’s not the case here. The design, heavy on plants and nods to Japanese culture, fits the space perfectly, and amplifies the brightness and sense of space. And while there isn’t much entertainment on offer (most notably, there’s no TV), the streets of Monti outside should provide all the entertainment you need. *The flat is made up of two self-contained suites that share a courtyard *There's no TV in the main communal area (though the bedrooms do have one) *One of the bedrooms doesn't have bedside tables *One person can sleep on a sofa bed Air Conditioning Bathtub Black-Out Blinds Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Cafetiere Carbon Monoxide Detector Central Heating Coffee M...More Details

This newly renovated home is just a two-minute stroll from Campo dei Fiori, with its daily market and array of cafes, bars and restaurants. St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City is under twenty minutes on foot. It's a few minutes more to the Trevi Fountain, and the Colosseum and Imperial Forum are about a thirty-minute walk or fifteen-minute ride. How's that for a Roman getaway? Take some fresh produce back to this apartment and rustle up a carbonara and salad to enjoy at your dining table. After dinner, have a seat on the comfy chaise sofa and enjoy a glass of wine. This home is decorated in neutral mushroom hues, and the vases of flowers dotted around give the place a lovely homely feel – and we love the French doors, which allow light to flood in. This abode is perfect for a couple or friends looking to be within easy reach of many of the Eternal City’s attractions. *Two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living room – i...More Details
Set in the heart of Rome's lively Prati district, this stylish apartment is a real crowd-pleaser. For those larger groups of friends or extended families looking to explore the Eternal City, you'll have four bright and colourful bedrooms to relax in, knowing the cultural attractions and iconic sights are right outside. Despite the lack of seating in the living-come-dining room, each bedroom offers a unique space to unwind. Styled in a chic 50s theme with vibrant colours, bold wallpaper prints and mid-century furnishings, the rooms also come with plenty of space. Each one has its own look, filled with vintage paraphernalia, from records to typewriters (they also each have a TV – the flat isn’t entirely faithful to the 50s). The bathrooms are well-designed and metro tiled, while the kitchen’s equipped for home meals – but you’re in one of the restaurant hotspots (as if anywhere in Rome isn’t a restaurant hotspot), and there are some great...More Details
