Lake Como days are all about living life – Italian style. That means you get to stay in your very own historic building located just seven minutes walk away from one of the most stunning lakes in the world.Relax and unwind in your comfortable apartment. In the morning, potter around at your leisure before heading out for the day.Visit the famous Como Cathedral constructed in the 14th Century then head over to the Como Archaeological Museum in Palazzo Giovio. At the water's edge, take the funicular up to the charming town of Brunate where you'll revel in jaw-dropping views of the lake. Later in the afternoon, go on an unforgettable woodland walk to the Baroque Villa Balbianello, where you'll sit on the terrace with gelato and admire the views of Vergonese and Bellagio off in the distance – we loved making memories that will last a lifetime. * For your convenience, there is an elevator in the building* The mezzanine bedroom is open to th...More Details

Nocellara is on the eighth floor, so as you might imagine, the terrace has quite the view across the city. The big French windows also let lots of light in, and it’s too high for shadows from other buildings to interfere. The scarce decoration does hold the place back a bit – there are definitely more eye-catching places to stay – but for longer stays, Nocellara is excellent value and has everything you need to be comfortable. *There's no air conditioning in the bedroom*We weren't able to test the wi-fi speed when we visited, though there is a connection*There's nothing in the way of ingredients provided, not even oil or salt*The ceiling in the bedroom is sloped, which makes it hard to get round one side of the bed*In general, there could be more effort put into decorating the flat – it's quite bare Air ConditioningBalconyBathtubBlack-Out BlindsBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingChild FriendlyCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsDishwa...More Details
Lake Daydream
The sheer amount of natural light in Seedling is remarkable. It’s hard to overestimate the effect that can have on a flat. There’s a relaxed atmosphere to the place, underscored by the abundance of plants and books. It feels like somewhere to retreat to after a day out, whether sightseeing or working. Equally though, you could easily spend hours lounging around that living room. If you couldn’t tell, we’re rather taken by Seedling. *The building has a doorman, but only until 5pm*There are quite a few scuff marks and scratches on the walls*We came across a fair amount of Violetta's belongings when we visited*It's a matter of preference, not a criticism, but the mattress is fairly soft*The shower is 180cm high – tall people might have to duck*There's no dishwasher Air ConditioningBalcony / PatioBathtubBicyclesBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCentral HeatingChild FriendlyCleaning ProductsCooking EssentialsDishwasherDoormanDryerDrying RackFreeze...More Details

While the location (a quiet street between the Duomo and Navigli) is an obvious draw of Phantom, there are other benefits to staying here. It’s a really good size for two people (using the sofa bed is possible, but not necessarily recommended), and the large windows bring in lots of natural light. It’s also worth mentioning the level of service offered by Laura and her team. They’re super professional, and while it’s clearly not a lived-in home, everything runs very smoothly. *There's no separation between the living room and the bedroom*While it's nice to have the balcony, it isn't really large enough to socialise on*Two people can sleep on a sofa bed in the living room, but they'd have no privacy Air ConditioningBalconyBreakfast IncludedBuzzer / Wireless IntercomCarbon Monoxide DetectorCentral HeatingCoffee MakerCooking EssentialsCot / CribDishwasherDryerDVD PlayerFridgeHair DryerHangersIronIroning BoardKitchenKitchen UtensilsLaptop...More Details
