I am renting out my spare room in charming town of Santa Cruz. It is a brand new and well equipped two bedroom apartment with strong and reliable wifi. I split my time between Madeira and Lisbon so you will have the place to yourself for a big chunk or even all of your stay depending on how long you rent for, and the rest of the time sharing the common areas with me (and possibly my partner). You will have your own private bathroom. Santa Cruz is a great base - its relaxing and lively in the evenings and well connected to Funchal, Machico and other areas for hiking and adventures. Looking forward to spend a few days in Graciosa island? Don't look any further, you've come to the right place. The house is located 1,5 km away from the center of the village. It has an awesome view (stretching from Almas village to Barra) and all the accommodations that you need for your holidays. It's a small house(100m2) with two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, living room and terrace. Quiet zone. 1,5kms from Santa Cruz village center. On the opposite house you can buy some fresh cheese from Mrs. Elvina and on the left side of the house traditional local wine from Mr. António in his old winery. Everyday, except on sundays, the bakery guy passes in front of the house selling fresh bread. Pay attention to the horn sound: 8.00am and 12:00pm. Spacious but cosy

Homestay in large house in semi-rural location outside the seaside town of Santa Cruz (the house is about 20 minutes' walk from the beach). I enjoy meeting guests and making them feel welcome. The house is near the historic town of Torres Vedras (a 20-minute bus journey or drive). It's within reach of lisbon (approximately 1 hour by car, or 2 hours by public transport). There is a shared kitchen with oven, hob, and fridge space. Access to garden (and potentially terrace, depending on what room you are in). Please note, there is no TV, and I do not currently have a washing machine (although there are two launderettes in Santa Cruz, which I use often).
