The Big Easy is managed by the architecture company that designed the entire building, as well as the living units. This studio apartment is decked out with custom-made furniture, exposed concrete walls, and industrial flooring, to create an artistic loft-like space. We love the floor-to-ceiling windows and the private balcony is an added bonus. Overall, the minimalist approach might not appeal to all, but if you’re looking for a balance between home comforts and hotel-like luxuries, this is a great spot for you.
*This is a studio apartment, so the space is rather small
*There is only a kitchenette (no oven, no dishwasher)
*When we visited, there was a lot of construction going on nearby – this should only be a temporary situation, but please be aware that there may be construction noise
*This is a rental unit and lacks that homely touch, so if you are looking for a very characterful stay, we recommend looking elsewhere
*There is no washer/dryer in this unit, but guests can use the building’s communal laundry facility at an extra cost
*This south-facing apartment can get pretty warm in the summers and there is no AC
