Sage looks like it’s stuck in a bohemian moment of the 1960s – and we're here for it. Positively brimming with retro furniture, hip artwork, and a vibrant colour palette, it’s like breathing in a breath of fresh air. We love that all of this is happening inside an old Altbau building, with big windows and high ceilings, allowing plenty of natural light to stream through the large bedrooms and spacious communal areas. It's a real crowd-pleasing home, with three brightly coloured bedrooms, each with their own eclectic prints, funky patterns and green houseplants. Set against the backdrop of Mitte, it’s in an excellent location for exploring too. Alexanderplatz is around the corner (a five-minute walk away) – and if you feel like exploring Museum Island, it’s less than fifteen minutes from home by foot. *At capacity, four people will be sleeping on sofa beds in communal areas *The bathroom is a little tired-looking – the grouting in the ...More Details

    Hot Chocolate

If you're looking for a well-connected spot in the heart of Berlin, this comfortable apartment provides optimal space for a convenient stay. Contemporary in style, with sleek wooden furnishings, velvet accents and a colour palette of rich mahogany browns, the home balances hotel-like features with all the necessary home comforts perfectly. For example, the private minibar and the building's reception area provide all the convenience of a hotel, while the large wooden dining table and collection of books offer personalised touches and a more lived-in feel. Gather the whole group around the open-plan kitchen and dining area for an aperitif, after a day's action-packed adventures in Berlin. Since you are located only a seven-minute walk away from the canal, you'll be well-positioned for leisurely walks that combine views of the city's industrial-style architecture, with the lusciously green trees that bring life and colour to the walkways....More Details

    Relax, Take it Easy

There are so many interesting aspects to this home, it’s hard to choose which to focus on. The building itself is clad with burnt wood and dark blue metal panels – there to reflect the site’s former space observatory. All the surfaces within the building are raw and honest, such as the exposed concrete, which shows the scars of construction. Sadly, this studio apartment is small, and the concrete columns within make it even more cramped. Nonetheless, this home is ideally located close to some of Berlin’s best attractions, such as the Jewish Museum and the Martin-Gropius-Bau. *This is a studio apartment, so the space is rather small, plus the two columns reduce the amount of room even more *When we visited, there was a lot of construction going on nearby – this should only be a temporary situation, but please be aware that there may be construction noise *This apartment only has a kitchenette and no oven, only a small microwave, so do...More Details

    To the Suburbs

Located far from the hustle and bustle but still in Berlin, this suburban home is ideal for families with lots of kids looking to spend time together but less so for those looking to be close to the city's central spots. There is a wide range of things to do, with a sauna, whirlpool, swimming pool, trampoline and more, although restrictions apply unfortunately. Despite the home's location, central Berlin is less than 30 minutes away on public transport, and the local area offers some lovely cycle routes. *The sauna, whirlpool and fireplace are only available in winter, while the pool and barbecue are available only during summer *There’s free parking here, and an EV charging station *At full occupancy, two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in a private room *Since the photoshoot, the home has undergone some renovations – there is now a bunk bed in the second bedroom, along with some other furniture changes *This home is spread ove...More Details

    The Acrobat

Boasting a sought-after location in the beating heart of Berlin Mitte and a stone's throw from Prenzlauer Berg, this stylish home provides an idyllic base for families and groups of friends. Here, you're a four-minute stroll from Rosenthaler Platz, with its bustling array of cafes, art galleries, eateries and bars, and handy public transport links. You'll find this home tucked away in a leafy row of elegant, pastel-hued architecture. Inside, it's a timeless combination of high ceilings and parquet flooring, adorned with contemporary decor and a vibrant colour pallete. We love the open-plan living space, with its fully-equipped kitchen, dining table and cosy corners for relaxation, including a plush l-shaped sofa and little reading nook. Slide open the floor-to-ceiling glass doors and discover the sleek private balcony. Offering pretty views of the courtyard below, this is your very own secluded sanctuary from Mitte's hustle and bustl...More Details

    Easy Like A Sunday Morning

Set in a building that used to be a space observatory, Easy Like A Sunday Morning is one for the architecture aficionados. It’s minimalist in the coolest way possible, with high ceilings, the raw and honest surfaces, as well as the concrete columns. And it’s managed by the same architecture firm that designed the building and living units, so expect lots of attention to detail. Sadly, the kitchen isn’t the biggest, but we like to think of that as an opportunity to explore the nearby area, which is full of both restaurants and museums. *When we visited, there was a lot of construction going on nearby – this should only be a temporary situation, but please be aware that there may be construction noise *Be prepared to roll up your sleeves, there is no dishwasher here *There is no washer/dryer in this unit, but guests can use the building’s communal laundry facility at an extra cost *This apartment only has a kitchenette and no oven, so d...More Details

    Art Farben

If you want to stay in a charming part of Berlin, Art Farben has you covered. Close to the likes of Brunnenstraße and Bernauer Straße, the immediate area is lined with artisan coffee shops, independent art galleries, and restaurants loved by locals, effectively capturing Berlin’s famous kiez atmosphere. It isn’t the most characterful home, but you’ll be happy to find everything you need for a stay in the German capital – including a small balcony with the loveliest green views during the warmer months. *Sadly, the bedding isn’t as high quality as we would have liked it to be *Be prepared for some up and down – it’s on the second floor with fifty-one steps to climb *We couldn’t find a home manual when we visited *The bathroom was tired-looking – it needs some TLC Baby Bath Balcony Bathtub Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Carbon Monoxide Detector Central Heating Coffee Maker Cooking Essentials Cot / Crib Dishwasher Extra Pillows and Blanket...More Details

At Balances, you’ll find industrial-inspired exposed brick and pipework, which the host has lovingly combined with minimalist furnishings that give this home a New York-like appeal. It is situated on the lower ground floor, but with plenty of natural light and its location on a quiet street, we’re willing to look past this minor detail. More importantly, Balances sits smack dab between some of Berlin’s most famous, and most important, sites. You can easily walk around this part of town visiting modern art galleries, historic museums or the Berlin Wall Memorial. *This home is located on the ground floor of the building and your bedroom faces the street *Guests three and four will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area *When we visited the Wi-Fi wasn’t working *The kitchen is small and equipped with only the basics Black-Out Blinds Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Carbon Monoxide Detector Central Heating Cleaning Products Coffee Maker Co...More Details

    Work It Out

We're loving the bohemian-chic approach to this urban pad, placed in Berlin's traffic-calmed Friedrichshain neighbourhood – where indie boutiques and casual cafes create an alternative, artsy vibe. There are three stylish bedrooms with dedicated office spaces in each one, making the home ideal for business trips and friendly get-togethers with one eye on work. Stylish decorative details are everywhere to be seen, with intentional yet minimalist decor creating a relaxed atmosphere. Gather the group together for some German apple pancakes in the sleek communal area as you hatch out the day's plan. With so much to see and do, make sure you factor in less work and a lot more play to your stay here. We recommend starting with a half-hour walk through the surrounding area to the historic East Side Gallery, before hopping on the metro to sprawling Kreuzberg – beloved by students and locals alike for its quirky thrift shops, cafe culture an...More Details

    Wait A Minute

Even though Wait A Minute is central, the immediate area is very peaceful. You’re within walking distance to lots of museums and art galleries – and it’s also well-connected by way of nearby Berlin Nordbahnhof. All in all, it’s a great point to explore Berlin from. Home-wise, we particularly enjoyed the impressive fifth-floor views of the Altbau-filled neighbourhood from the balcony. It is minimal in style, but we like that it’s so modern – it’s also flooded with natural light, which is something we always find appealing. *The host only rents out this home for longer periods of time – which is why a rental agreement needs to be signed and a deposit needs to be paid directly to the host *When we visited, the bathroom was tired-looking – it could do with some love *The bathroom is also on the smaller side *There’s currently no home manual Balcony Bathtub Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Central Heating Dishwasher Dryer Freezer Fridge Hair D...More Details

    Dance on Air

Brimming with books, artsy trinkets and Rothko-esque paintings, this Mitte flat is the kind of home that starts conversations. Once owned by an artist, there's a unique layout and a creative flair here that we loved when we visited. It's a blend of different styles, yet it works – vintage antiques mix with minimalist furniture, wooden countertops sit on stainless steel cabinets and, in the heart of it all, are the huge windows showing off the mammoth trees of Arkonaplatz Square across the street. On sunny days, enjoy your morning cup of coffee and breakfast roll on the balcony, watching as Berlin comes to life. Location-wise, you won't have to travel far to experience the authentic flea markets, buzzing restaurant scene and trendy galleries in this lively part of Mitte. Instead of walking to the main attractions, make like the locals and rent a bike from the cycle hire stations in the Kulturbrauerei or hop on the tram and be in the city...More Details

    A Fresh Note

Embrace Berlin's famous cool with a stay at this apartment in Kreuzberg, one of the city's most vibrant neighbourhoods. Street art coats the surrounding industrial buildings which have been transformed into art spaces and trendy bars and restaurants. The living room is a calm space in the city and a door leads out to a private, furnished balcony for a breath of fresh air. If you're in Berlin for work, the dedicated laptop desk in the living room has you covered, making this an ideal spot for business or leisure. *While there is an elevator in the building, you'll need to climb five steps to reach it. So this place may not suit those with very limited mobility.\n*The building's lift is on the small side, so bear this in mind if you're bringing large luggage.\n*The work desk has a monitor for guest use and is in the living room rather than a separate office space.\n*There is no parking with this apartment, but you're in a central spot w...More Details

We fell in love with Lava as soon as we stepped through the front door. Inviting and luminous, the space oozes personality and soul. The colour scheme reminds us of nature (ocean/sky blue mix with earthy tones), while simultaneously being very twenty-first-century chic. Andrea is an interior designer, so it's no wonder why everything is arranged and curated with meticulous attention to detail. The immediate area isn’t Berlin’s liveliest, but you’re well-connected to the city centre, as well as the more dynamic areas of Charlottenburg. *Even though the kitchen is well-equipped, it’s a little small *This part of Charlottenburg is lovely, but you’ll have to do some walking to reach the livelier parts of the neighbourhood *We found some fake plants in the home, this might not be to everyone’s taste Balcony Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Carbon Monoxide Detector Central Heating Coffee Maker Cooking Essentials Dishwasher Dryer Espresso Machin...More Details

    Berlin Spree

Situated in Friedrichshain, this modern apartment is perfectly located for Spree-side strolls and gallery visits. There’s not one balcony here, but two – start the day with breakfast on one and post-sightseeing drinks on the second. While we hope you’ll spend most of your time exploring, there’s a handy desk for remote workers. This spot is in a young and alternative neighbourhood, though if you want to see the inner city’s famous landmarks, you can hop on the U-Bahn from Berlin Ostkreuz – it’s a ten-minute walk away. *There's a desk here if you need to catch up on some work during your stay. \n*The entrance to this home is shared with the building's other residents.\n*Parking in Berlin can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible – though we think the best way to explore the city is on foot.*This host requires your check-in to be within 3-5 days from when the last booking ends. Creative Minds

With its vibey nightlife, indie boutique shopping scene, and much-loved Sunday flea market, it's no surprise the Friedrichshain district is a favourite with Berlin's hipsters. Take it all in from the shared rooftop terrace of this stylish apartment – just one of the many perks of this boho-inspired bolthole. But if you're after a little more privacy, the small balconies off this home's living room and bedroom are a nice touch, too. A great option for friends sharing, there are two bathrooms to speed mornings along. Meanwhile, the dedicated desk space will be handy for anyone planning to work remotely – if you must. *This home is in an apartment building with a shared entrance and lift access.\n*There’s a dedicated desk space for remote working at the apartment.\n*Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.\n*This host requires your check-in to be within 3-5 days from when the last booking ends...More Details

    Sunflower Solstice

In the trendy neighbourhood of Prenzlauer Berg, this stylish central apartment lends itself well to couples and solo travellers. Pets are welcome to join you here for an additional fee, the kitchen is well-equipped for home cooking, and there's a dedicated desk for remote work. The bathroom is very small and parking outside will be tricky, but we think the location is what sets this home apart. Enjoy the weekend food market and flea market at Boxhagener Platz, which is just around the corner from Polar Bear. Sun Salutations

Sun Salutations is flooded with positivity. It’s a calming and welcoming one-bedroom home in edgy Friedrichshain with lots of natural light. We love the fantastically high ceilings and how every little detail is brimming with a thoughtful and easy-going feel. Especially suited to travellers inspired by Buddhist philosophies, yoga and spirituality, this home genuinely encourages you to take a step back, relax and slow down. * Tall people be aware - the shower is only 180 cm high * This home is on the third floor with no elevator – be prepared to climb some stairs * There’s not a lot of space for hanging your clothes in the bedroom * There’s currently no fan in this home – it might get hot in the summer months * Guest 3 would be on a sofa bed in the living room * Due to previous experiences, the host has requested that no children are allowed inside the home * If you’re a light sleeper, you might want to look elsewhere – there are no bl...More Details

    City and Colour

Whether you’re travelling for work or pleasure, this apartment is in a great spot. Located in Charlottenburg, you’ve got some of Berlin’s best restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance. And there’s a U-Bahn station a short stroll away to connect you to the rest of the city. With neutral colours and leafy plants, the home itself is a relaxing space – perfect for unwinding after a busy day of business meetings or seeing the sights. You’ve also got a private terrace here if you want to soak up the sun or enjoy an alfresco meal. *The double bed is pushed up against a wall so it's hard to climb in and out at the far side.\n*If you're travelling for work, you’ll find a laptop-friendly workspace in the living area.\n*Parking in Berlin can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible. \n*This host requires your check-in to be within 3-5 days from when the last booking ends.
