    The Viewpoint

The Viewpoint is in an excellent location. It’s located in a part of Mitte that’s quiet, yet still within walking distance to some of the busier spots (the Naturkundemuseum is only seven minutes away) As it’s a studio, it’s not big, but the colour palette is soothing and the high ceilings make it seem a lot bigger than it actually is. We also like that it feels very Berlin, with its loft-like vibes and charming courtyard views. *The walls are a bit bare – we wouldn’t mind some artwork and a couple of plants here and there *It’s a studio flat – the living space/sleeping area is in the same room *We didn’t find any entertainment options – no tv, no books, no magazines Balcony / Patio Bathtub Black-Out Blinds Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Central Heating Child Friendly Cleaning Products Coffee Maker Cooking Essentials Dishwasher Dryer Drying Rack Fridge Garden Hangers Kettle Kitchen Kitchen Utensils Lift Access Microwave Multiple Sets of ...More Details

    Electric Feel

Electric Feel is a great choice if you’re looking to see a different side of Berlin. Located in Friedrichshain, the neighbourhood is full of creative hubs, art galleries, and alternative coffee shops. The home itself is super modern – the kitchen is new (and well-equipped), and there’s even a little balcony to enjoy some down-time. The host, Minh, is a joy, and she’s especially excited to welcome you to her tranquil oasis in an edgy, artsy corner of the city. *We couldn’t locate a home manual when we visited *It sleeps four guests, but two of them would be on a sofa bed *There’s no washing machine or dryer *Parts of Friedrichshain are still a little rough around the edges Balcony Bathtub Black-Out Blinds Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Central Heating Cleaning Products Coffee Maker Cooking Essentials Dishwasher Drying Rack Extra Pillows and Blankets Fan Freezer Fridge Garden Hair Dryer Hangers Home Cinema Setup Iron Ironing Board Kettle ...More Details

    Candid Camera

Industrial meets rustic, Candid Camera is one of a kind. Located just fifteen minutes from Volkspark Friedrichshain, you’re in a beautiful area packed with bars, restaurants and shops. It’s not difficult to see that Ludger has put a lot of love and effort into designing this space, especially when it comes to all the eye-catching decorations. With a well-equipped kitchen and a cosy terrace, it’s a great place to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. *While it sleeps six guests, the last two would be on a sofa bed in the living room *The walls could do with a lick of paint to cover up scuff marks *The windows in the bedrooms don’t open *There’s no home manual at the moment *Even though it sleeps six guests, there aren’t enough seats for everyone to sit down at the same time Baby Bath Black-Out Blinds Carbon Monoxide Detector Central Heating Coffee Maker Cooking Essentials Cot / Crib Dishwasher DVD Library Espresso Machine Extra Pil...More Details

    Pistachio Macaron

While Pistachio Macaron isn’t the most charming home in our collection, it’s located in a very attractive part of bustling Berlin. With Rosenthaler Platz on your doorstep, you’re close to so many art galleries, independent boutiques and eateries. Despite being a studio, the home is bright and airy – and although it’s not going to win any design prizes, it’s a great base for travellers looking to explore a vibrant part of the city. * The design is on the simple side, functional solutions have been prioritised * This home overlooks a busy street – it might get noisy at times * Guests 3 and 4 would be on a sofa bed in the same room as the other guests * This is a studio home – don’t expect tonnes of space * There’s no air condition – it gets hot in summer * When we visited, we noticed a few scuff marks on the walls here and there * Tall people be aware – the shower is only 190 cm tall Bicycles Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Central Heatin...More Details

    The Fire Dancer

We love The Fire Dancer for its size and all the colourful accents. Located on a quiet street, you’re not too far from all of Berlin’s hustle and bustle – trendy Rosenthaler Platz is just a short five-minute walk away. While there are a lot of positive things to note about this home, our favourite part is the calm bedroom – autumnal prints, the trendy cane woven headboard, and decorative statement walls go hand in hand. *Apart from the TV, there are not a lot of entertainment options in this home *During our visit, we found the wifi to be a bit slow *We noticed a little bit of wear and tear in places *The kitchen is on the small side – there’s a mini-fridge instead of a tall one *There’s currently no home manual, but there’s a concierge available for questions during daytime *Your host owns multiple apartments within this building, so the exact view, furnishings and layout might differ from the photos Baby Bath Baby Monitor Balcony ...More Details

    Art Farben

If you want to stay in a charming part of Berlin, Art Farben has you covered. Close to the likes of Brunnenstraße and Bernauer Straße, the immediate area is lined with artisan coffee shops, independent art galleries, and restaurants loved by locals, effectively capturing Berlin’s famous kiez atmosphere. It isn’t the most characterful home, but you’ll be happy to find everything you need for a stay in the German capital – including a small balcony with the loveliest green views during the warmer months. *Sadly, the bedding isn’t as high quality as we would have liked it to be *Be prepared for some up and down – it’s on the second floor with fifty-one steps to climb *We couldn’t find a home manual when we visited *The bathroom was tired-looking – it needs some TLC Baby Bath Balcony Bathtub Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Carbon Monoxide Detector Central Heating Coffee Maker Cooking Essentials Cot / Crib Dishwasher Extra Pillows and Blanket...More Details

At Balances, you’ll find industrial-inspired exposed brick and pipework, which the host has lovingly combined with minimalist furnishings that give this home a New York-like appeal. It is situated on the lower ground floor, but with plenty of natural light and its location on a quiet street, we’re willing to look past this minor detail. More importantly, Balances sits smack dab between some of Berlin’s most famous, and most important, sites. You can easily walk around this part of town visiting modern art galleries, historic museums or the Berlin Wall Memorial. *This home is located on the ground floor of the building and your bedroom faces the street *Guests three and four will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area *When we visited the Wi-Fi wasn’t working *The kitchen is small and equipped with only the basics Black-Out Blinds Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Carbon Monoxide Detector Central Heating Cleaning Products Coffee Maker Co...More Details

    Work It Out

We're loving the bohemian-chic approach to this urban pad, placed in Berlin's traffic-calmed Friedrichshain neighbourhood – where indie boutiques and casual cafes create an alternative, artsy vibe. There are three stylish bedrooms with dedicated office spaces in each one, making the home ideal for business trips and friendly get-togethers with one eye on work. Stylish decorative details are everywhere to be seen, with intentional yet minimalist decor creating a relaxed atmosphere. Gather the group together for some German apple pancakes in the sleek communal area as you hatch out the day's plan. With so much to see and do, make sure you factor in less work and a lot more play to your stay here. We recommend starting with a half-hour walk through the surrounding area to the historic East Side Gallery, before hopping on the metro to sprawling Kreuzberg – beloved by students and locals alike for its quirky thrift shops, cafe culture an...More Details

    Wait A Minute

Even though Wait A Minute is central, the immediate area is very peaceful. You’re within walking distance to lots of museums and art galleries – and it’s also well-connected by way of nearby Berlin Nordbahnhof. All in all, it’s a great point to explore Berlin from. Home-wise, we particularly enjoyed the impressive fifth-floor views of the Altbau-filled neighbourhood from the balcony. It is minimal in style, but we like that it’s so modern – it’s also flooded with natural light, which is something we always find appealing. *The host only rents out this home for longer periods of time – which is why a rental agreement needs to be signed and a deposit needs to be paid directly to the host *When we visited, the bathroom was tired-looking – it could do with some love *The bathroom is also on the smaller side *There’s currently no home manual Balcony Bathtub Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Central Heating Dishwasher Dryer Freezer Fridge Hair D...More Details

    The Juggler

The Juggler is a cachet of Berlin cool. Funky and playful in one, this place sports artistic wallpapers and well-curated splashes of colour. The hosts love Berlin and they’re not afraid to show it – the organic Berlin-made toiletries are the icing on the cake. The immediate area is a little touristy, but there are lots of wonderful restaurants right by Zionkirchplatz. * We know we are picky, but the bedding isn’t as luxurious as we would have liked it to be * This home has a little bit of wear and tear – expect some scuff marks on the walls * Tall people beware – the showers are only 180 cm high * There’s currently no home manual, but there’s a concierge available for questions during the daytime *Your host owns multiple apartments within this building, so the exact view, furnishings and layout might differ from the photos Baby Bath Baby Monitor Bathtub Bicycles Blender Board Games Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Central Heating Cleaning...More Details

    The Trapeze

We can’t help but love the colour palette in this home – the bedroom is filled with blue hues, while the communal areas are dominated by pastel greens and reds. The Trapeze is many things at once, playful and serious, modern and charismatic. However, what we liked most about this home was the level of service – there’s a concierge available for any questions during the daytime, and they can arrange tours of Berlin too. * There’s currently no home manual, but there’s a concierge available for questions during the daytime * When we visited, the wifi wasn’t as fast as we would have liked it to be * There’s some wear and tear in this home – expect a few minor stains and scuff marks * There’s no washing machine or dryer in the apartment, you'll have to do your laundry elsewhere * Tall people beware – the shower is only 180 cm high *Your host owns multiple apartments within this building, so the exact view, furnishings and layout might diff...More Details

    On Balance

With its New York-like appeal (think exposed brickwork), paired with a minimalist aesthetic and black-and-white photography, it’s needless to say that On Balance is special. It’s a little small (you have to share one bathroom), but we’re willing to look past that minor detail. More importantly, On Balance is in a great location. Tucked away in between some of Berlin’s most famous, and most important, sites, it’s great for travellers looking to explore the city’s historic side. You’ll find lots of art galleries, museums, and the Berlin Wall Memorial within walking distance. *This home is located on the lower ground floor, so it doesn't get a lot of natural light *The kitchen is small and equipped with only the basics *Two of the bedrooms have limited storage space Black-Out Blinds Board Games Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Carbon Monoxide Detector Central Heating Cleaning Products Coffee Maker Cooking Essentials Cot / Crib Dishwasher Dry...More Details

    Easy Street

With its large windows, high ceilings, and exposed concrete walls, Easy Street oozes industrial chicness. It’s managed by the architecture company that designed the entire building, as well as the living units, so expect lots of little touches and hotel-like amenities. While the kitchen isn’t well-equipped (it’s definitely not suitable for cooking up a storm), we love the minimalist approach and artistic flair. Located in Kreuzberg, you’re close to attractions such as the Jewish Museum and the Martin-Gropius-Bau. *When we visited, there was a lot of construction going on nearby – this should only be a temporary situation, but please be aware that there may be construction noise *Be prepared to roll up your sleeves, there is no dishwasher here *There is no washer/dryer in this unit, but guests can use the building’s communal laundry facility at an extra cost *This apartment only has a kitchenette and no oven, so don’t expect to flex yo...More Details

Small yet full of charisma, The Mime is great for travellers looking for a cosy base close to Rosenthaler Platz. From the funky wallpaper to vegan soaps, everything’s curated with great attention to detail. We also love the eclectic mix of romantic vintage furniture, Oriental-style trinkets, and fun, flamboyant colour accents. * Since there are no windows in the bathroom, there’s little natural ventilation * There’s currently no home manual *When we visited, the wifi wasn’t as fast as we would have liked *The vintage sofa is beautiful, but it also comes with some wear and tear *Your host owns multiple apartments within this building, so the exact view, furnishings and layout might differ from the photos Baby Bath Baby Monitor Bathtub Bicycles Blender Board Games Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Central Heating Cleaning Products Coffee Maker Cooking Essentials Cot / Crib Dishwasher Dryer Drying Rack DVD Player Exercise Equipment Extra Pill...More Details

    Wood Stock

With its teak furniture and Danish design, Wood Stock is one of those effortlessly chic homes. We love the kitchen, it’s our favourite part of the home as the all-black kitchen cabinetry is super eye-catching. The immediate area is lovely – there’s always something to do in Prenzlauer Berg, whether you’re looking to find your new favourite coffee shop, try some exotic foods, or visit some independent boutiques. *The host only rents out this home for longer periods of time – which is why a rental agreement needs to be signed and a deposit needs to be paid directly to the host *We couldn’t find a home manual – you may have to ask for help on how to use the appliances *It’s on the fifth floor with no lift – be prepared for a lot of up and down *It overlooks a busy road – it can get noisy (especially if the windows are open) *The balconies aren’t super private – they’re only separated from the neighbouring balconies by some plants Buzze...More Details

Parsley is like instant happiness – it's full of colour, chic decor and luscious houseplants. We love the bright shades of green mixing with the more saturated hues for an eye-catching look. There's somewhat of a 1960s feel to the apartment that we find super stylish and refreshing. There's a range of retro prints and tasteful artwork around the home too and the best part about it all? These trendy interiors are inside a charming Altbau building, with heaps of character, big windows and high ceilings, creating a bright and airy space to relax. The location is also great, with Alexanderplatz less than a five-minute walk away, equalling easy access to some of Berlin’s most popular sights. You're just over a kilometre from Museum Island, plus the eight courtyards of Hackesher Market are right around the corner. *At capacity, four people will be sleeping on sofa beds in the living room *There’s no TV in this home (only a computer screen)...More Details

Location-wise, Versus is about as good as it gets. You’re only a short walk from Alexanderplatz (seven minutes to be exact), as well as Hackescher Markt and all of its shops. It’s worth noting that it’s quite small (it’s a studio), but if you don’t mind everything being in the same room, then you’ll like this place. The kitchen isn’t super big either – but no need to worry, there are tonnes of amazing restaurants and coffee shops nearby for you to try out. *It’s a studio – the bedroom and living area/kitchen are all in the same space *The bathroom was a little tired-looking – the grouting, in particular, could do with some love *It’s not the kind of space you cook up a storm – the kitchen is small and there’s no oven *There was no home manual when we visited Balcony / Patio Bathtub Black-Out Blinds Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Central Heating Child Friendly Coffee Maker Cooking Essentials Dishwasher Drying Rack Freezer Fridge Garden H...More Details

    Key Lime Pie

With an abundance of coworking spaces, quirky cafes and art galleries nearby, this home near Rosenthaler Platz is certainly in a lively neighbourhood. Ideal for groups of friends or families, the kitchen is well-equipped, the bathroom is fresh and functional, and the bedrooms are airy and bright. It's not bursting with character, but it does have plenty of design strengths like the funky kaleidoscope artwork, the sunny den leading onto the little balcony and, of course, the wonderful views. *The host owns several, near-identical units in the same building – layout and design might vary slightly depending on which one you end up in *Those seeking a home oozing character may want to look elsewhere *To access one of the bedrooms, you have to walk through the master bedroom – not the most private of layouts *Aside from the sunny den on the corner of the building, there's no dedicated living room *With just a single spotlight, the dining ...More Details

Icons of industrial design meet distinctive art pieces created by the host’s father in this charming flat located in Winsviertel, a small neighbourhood within fashionable Prenzlauerberg. Filled with natural light and modern silhouettes, this two-bedroom home is suitable for young and old - small toys and single beds keep the children happy, while the wine cooler and balcony with stunning views of the TV Tower are for the adults. * The layout of the flat is not ideal - to enter the master bedroom, you need to walk through the children's bedroom * It can sleep up to 5 people, but 3 of the guests would have to be children * Everything's managed from afar, so there can be delays in response time due to time differences * The kitchen is on the smaller side * Even though there’s an elevator in the building, you will still need to climb 18 stairs to reach the flat * Watch your head on the sloped ceilings in both bedrooms Air Conditioni...More Details

    Easy Breezy

The epitome of industrial chic, Easy Breezy comes with raw, exposed concrete walls and huge windows for panoramic city views, any time of the day. For architecture connoisseurs, this is the dream – not only is it surrounded by many important housing developments of the 1980s, but much of the furniture is also custom made by the architect’s office that owns the building. It’s set against the backdrop of lively Kreuzberg, so you’re also in good hands when it comes to great places to eat and drink. *There’s currently no home manual, you may have to ask for help on how to use the appliances *When we visited, there was some construction noises coming from a nearby street *The kitchen is a little smaller than we would have liked – there’s also no oven (just a microwave) *Guests 3 and 4 would be sleeping on two single sofa beds in the living room Baby Bath Balcony Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Central Heating Cooking Essentials Cot / Crib Dry...More Details
